Horrific people! So rude, actually that is describing them nicely, they are beyond rude. Do not go here and do not order from here. They screwed up on the order and when i called to fix it, the girl on the phone denied that they delivered the wrong items and was so rude and hung up on me. I called back and asked to speak to the manager and she hung up on me again. This is the 2nd time i have ordered from there and both times they brought the wrong item. Food is great though a bit pricey, but what isn't these days. They've cut back a bit on the freebies like cukes and coleslaw. Used to be bowl instead of single items. Has a nice menu variety. I was very excited . I ordered the Rueben ($27.00). And spinach egg white and potatoes. The waitress was nice . However, we waited a long 30 minutes for our food . When the food finally came the Rueben sandwich was dry , the toasted bread was cold as though it was just sitting there for a while before it was give to me . I don't mind the price , however I expected to get a nice , hot juicy sandwich. Also the potatoes was cold , dry and had no taste . The icing on the cake was also seeing a roach on the floor . Mortified beyond! The lack of hygiene while preparing our to go. The cashier touching money, then the containers without gloves. The man prepping the food with his mask off, wearing gloves then decides to put his mask on (from under) touching his lips and mouth with the gloves he is using to prepare the food. I could not believe my eyes. I went to the back and asked the manager I wanted to cancel my order and explained what happen. He went to another employee prepping the food and told him to give me my money back (in Spanish) "because it took too long". I corrected the manager in Spanish and said "that is not why I cancelled... I cancelled because of the lack of hygiene and you should have told him the truth so they can rectify the situation. After doing some volunteering, a friend recommended to come here for breakfast and it was great! It was an awesome " New York " experience with the typical northern deli feeling. The portion sizes are BIG lol, no complaints, and the flavors are on point. Ironically, despite going to a deli, I'm not the biggest "bagel person". But about that... I am now lol. 100% the best bagels in town. I may not hit the streets looking for bagels, but if I ever want a "Brooklyn" vibe and bagel in the morning... I can definitely come here. I dined on 9/26/24 with my wife for lunch. It was not busy in the restaurant when we dined, maybe 4 to 5 tables. Our server Aleksandra from Montenegro was our server, as she was there about 8 months to a year ago as she served us before. We ordered 2 eggs over medium, toast, and a side of cheese blintzas. Usually the blueberry compote is on the side but this time it was under the blintzahs. She asked me what I wanted for my side, and I chose potato pancakes. My wife ordered eggs benedict. The server didn't ask her what she wanted as a side. Food came, and her eggs benedict didn't have any hollandaise sauce and it was on a plain bagel with potato chunks as her side. I went to the counter and asked a woman for a menu, and it clearly said: the eggs benedict comes on an english muffin with your choice of side. First off, Its hard to eat eggs benedict on a bagel and she would have chosen a different side. The woman at the counter seemed unfazed. I sat down, and both the waitress and the other woman came to see what they can do to fix the situation. My wife said she just wanted her hollandaise sauce and a toasted english muffin. They offered to re-make her entire meal, but we initially wanted to eat together as we had somewhere to get to (not in a rush, but needed to be somewhere soon). The english muffin came back out but was only 5-10% toasted. After the bill came, I was charged for her lunch. My wife only ate 1 egg. She didn't eat her bagel, english muffin, bacon or really anything else except for the 1 egg. At this point she lost her appetite as the order was completely messed up. Finally I called the woman back over and asked for a manager, in which she replied, that is me. I was quite shocked at her responses and she she acted during this whole situation. I said that I didn't feel right paying for my wife's lunch, but that I wasn't looking for a free meal. I offered to pay for 1/2 of here eggs benedict. She finally said, I will just take it off. We paid about $40.00 and I left our server (who clearly has a language barrier) a 18% tip. I have worked in hospitality for over 20 years and understand tipping. I loved being tipped so I do unto others. Overall, we have decided to NOT eat there anymore. There are plenty of other places. The server is not new, and she should have asked what side my wife wanted instead of just bringing her whatever they decided. Her order was made with the wrong bread, and no hollandaise sauce. In my opinion, this shouldn't have happened, and not worth the customer service. Roasters changed locations (about 2 doors down from the previous restaurant), it is very clean and looks refreshed. I posted another review about 1 year ago, and overall just not going to come back. :( read more

I know this place has a bunch of low star reviews, however we have our office in the area and got a carry out few times. Service wasn't spectacular at the register but I never expected 5 star service while getting a carry out bagel lol Today was the first time I had a few min to sit down and try their actual breakfast menu. Food: breakfast is one of those simple meals, that despite the lack complications in preparations, not all get it right. To me, the star of my meal were the home fries! Thoroughly cooked, crusted, not over/under seasoned, hot, perfect size of the pieces, but most importantly, they used the right kind of potatoes. My omelet was huge and perfectly cooked. Lastly, they have grits on the menu, and they were good. Calvin, my server, had my hot plate of food in front of me within five minutes of me ordering. One of the friendliest and most engaging servers I've had the pleasure of meeting. I usually question ever paying 40.00(including tip) for a breakfast for 1, but today I would have felt bad leaving anything less. My compliments to the entire RnT's team. read more

Service was initially slow, but then immediately I had 3 people come up to me and ask me what I wanted to drink. Each table had a salt and pepper grinder, National Deli mustard, Heinz ketchup, sugar and sweetener packets and at 10:15 AM, the Smuckers jam tray. While sipping my piping hot coffee, I looked over the menu, and many of the customers were addressed by first name. A good sign that many people come back that often. I settled on the Corned Beef Hash and Eggs. I also wanted a side of grits, and they obliged me to make them into cheese grits. After all, how else should you eat grits? When I'd finished, the waitress asked me what I wanted as my bread, she offered a few choices, but I settled on a poppy bagel. Yeah, as a side, I got a bagel. When it came out, the dish was enormous. It was easily 8 oz of corned beef hash, and the eggs were cooked perfectly over easy. The cheese grits were the right consistency. And then I got the poppy bagel, and a little personal sized whipped cream cheese. By the grace of God, and a great deal of determination, I finished it all. I really wanted to get up afterwards to free up a table, but it was quite difficult to move the mass of food that was in my stomach. Eventually i got up, after I'd paid, etc. Good stuff here.
