    Classic Bacon Egg & Cheese

Roasters and Toasters has been my go-to breakfast place when I need a solid bite in mid beach. Located right on 41 Street, it's difficult to beat their bottomless coffee! My usual fix is their bacon egg & cheese bagel (it's technically a "make your own" bagel since their standard for this dish is in a roll.) My bagel is warm and nicely fluffy, packed scrambled eggs, melted and delicious, perfectly crispy bacon. They have a full menu of breakfast standards such as eggs benny & french toast (a winner when my sweet tooth gets the W.) The wait staff & managers have always been helpful and on-time, especially with my coffee! The restaurant also has a points program with discounts. Definitely worth a stop!

My experience at Roasters and Toasters Deli in Miami Beach was exceptionally disappointing. The staff seemed oblivious to everything. The food itself was nothing special; in fact it is a COMPLETE RIPOFF!! I paid for a $26 pastrami on rye, expecting something I would get at Katz delicatessen in New York City for that price. What I got as you can see in the picture was maybe 3 ounces of meat each part of my sandwich. 10 years ago when I came to this restaurant, the sandwiches were enormous and something to write home about ! Now under new ownership this is one of the worst delis I've ever been to, and I felt like I was robbed of my money. I will never go back to this location, and I will never use them for Catering ever again. This place is so mismanaged and their prices are so high, I'm surprised any sane Jew goes to this deli whatsoever!! everything else tasted bland or, worse, as if it had been sitting out for hours. Coleslaw was decent. matzoh ball soup was below average. This place is a shell of what it used to be 5-10+ years ago. The pictures on the menu are misleading and it should be illegal because you are not going to get a sandwich like you're seeing in their stupid menu. THAT'S FALSE ADVERTISING! Portion sizes have shrunk dramatically over the years, but the prices sure haven't--paying a premium for what amounts to a small, flavorless sandwich doesn't feel worth it to me and I'm sure it won't to you either :( If you're expecting a real New York deli experience, adjust your expectations, or better yet, go somewhere else. There are plenty of better options in Miami Beach, and even driving to a different neighborhood would be less frustrating! The new owners are cheapskates. I do not recommend this restaurant whatsoever anymore.

First time at Roasters 'n Toasters. The food was amazing; it smelled great and looked fantastic. However, the service was not good. When the payment screen went black, the cashier fixed it and then added a tip. The woman at the register tried to excuse this by suggesting it may have been my own doing while the screen was dark. She should have asked about a tip once the screen was working again. This was inappropriate and a complete deal-breaker. The food was good, but this experience ruined it. The restaurant itself was very nice besides that it was very clean, and spacious definitely would go again.

Stopped by on my way home from work. I was pleasantly surprised that the waitress remembered my drink order. She has only met me 3 times, and it has been a minute. The food was delicious and very satisfying. I had the French dip with steak fries. While waiting for my food to arrive, I enjoyed the Cole slaw and pickle. I found out that the chocolate cake and carrot cakes are their best sellers for cake. I ordered the chocolate cake. The piece was huuuuuuge, but more importantly, it was super delicious: very moist and flavorful. My suggestion is to take a piece home and pair it with vanilla ice cream. I didn't know their cake was this good so now, I know where to go when I need a nice piece of cake.

The food and service are outstanding! The pancakes are exceptional. Highly recommend to anyone seeking fresh and delicious meals. Great NY ambiance.

Ok so if it was the food this would be 4.5 stars.. good matzoh ball (8/10) the corned beef I'd say was great. Super thin sliced and stacked thick like 2 packs of cigarettes. Egg salad nothing special and the latkes I'd say slightly disappointing.. however the service.. F-ING TERRIBLE. I had a thin Latin waitress who brought all the shit in my order like 10+ minutes apart.. waited will 10 minutes after I finished everything for the latkes.. had to stand up and walk to the front to ask for coffee.. then wait 10 minutes after that. It's a shame and maybe I'll try a different location.. but never again here. You guys really should work on customer service because the food isn't good enough to have this level of terrible staff on the floor.

Just witnessed a women fixing her hair; tugging dreadlocks through a hair tie as she is standing by the register and behind her are the beautiful tasty bagels. Her hair literally flipping around the bagels. Please let your employees know not to mess with their hair unless in private. Please let's go back to HAIR NETS!!! Otherwise, I love this place. One bad apple can ruin the bunch..

I'll make this short and sweet. Actually they got so much better. The staff knows what they're doing. I had a breakfast special eggs, pancakes and grits. All cooked to perfection. Coffee was nice and strong and hot. The restaurant moved two doors down. Completely new and improved.

What a excellent find! This place was delicious. The coffee not so much. My power breakfast was delicious. THAT BAGEL! The salad was yummy I wish the olives had been pitted. ( I know first world problems.) Partners BLT was good very good ratio of inside to bread. And he ordered latkes they were very good (my first time trying) the apple sauce and sour cream brought it all together. If you are looking for a breakfast spot near Miami Beach look no further.

A Slice of Dominican New York... Right Here on Miami Beach…read more I've been coming to Ocean Deli since 2020, and I honestly can't believe it's taken me this long to write a review. Maybe because people from New York know one universal rule: when you find a great neighborhood spot, you keep your mouth shut. You don't want your hidden gem becoming the next place where people wait in line because somebody on social media "discovered" it. Ocean Deli is one of the last authentic neighborhood delis left on Miami Beach. In a city filled with luxury hotels, trendy brunch spots, and restaurants charging resort prices for breakfast, Ocean Deli quietly does what it's been doing all along--serving great food, quickly, and at prices that still make sense. This is where the people who actually keep Miami Beach running come to eat. Hotel employees, construction workers, delivery drivers, city workers, first responders, and the locals who somehow managed to survive Miami Beach's rising cost of living. If you want to know where the real locals eat, this is it. The owner is Dominican and from the Bronx, and that New York Dominican bodega culture is written all over this place--in the best possible way. Walk through the door and you'll swear you just landed in Washington Heights or the Bronx. Bachata and merengue are playing in the background. The smell of fresh café con leche fills the room. The grill is always working. Conversations bounce around the deli like you've walked into someone's neighborhood hangout instead of a business. The ladies behind the counter are unmistakably Dominican--friendly, hardworking, efficient, and they keep the line moving without ever losing that neighborhood feel. The sandwiches are outstanding. Fresh bread, generous portions, and made the way sandwiches are supposed to be made. No unnecessary gimmicks. No tiny portions with fancy names. The café con leche deserves its own mention. Strong, smooth, and exactly what coffee should taste like. If you've spent any time in New York's Dominican neighborhoods, you'll recognize it immediately. The Dominican breakfast and lunch plates are equally impressive. Simple, authentic, flavorful comfort food that fills you up instead of emptying your wallet. Speaking of wallets... Ocean Deli might be one of the best values left on Miami Beach. While restaurants a few blocks away are charging you like they flew the eggs in first class, Ocean Deli is quietly serving quality food at prices that remind you Miami Beach wasn't always built just for tourists. Just know what you're walking into......This isn't a sit-down restaurant. You walk in, place your order, take your receipt to the register and pay. Then you wait a few minutes while the grill works its magic. When they call your order, you grab your food and you're on your way. That's how it's done here. Fast, efficient, and without all the unnecessary fanfare. Ocean Deli isn't trying to sell you an "artisan culinary experience." It's selling great sandwiches, authentic Dominican food, excellent café con leche, fair prices, and a little piece of Dominican-York right here on Miami Beach. Some places sell an image....... Ocean Deli sells breakfast and lunch. After six years of coming here, I wouldn't have it any other way. Just do yourself one favor: when you find yourself surrounded by tourists paying resort prices for an average meal, remember there's still one place on Miami Beach where the locals go. Now You Know

Great place to stop for a quick bite on a beach day or when you're not feeling up for a full meal…read more Sandwiches are large and taste great! Plenty of customization options. A counter seat is hit or miss but nice to have available instead of only being a walk up window. Skip the smoothies. They're watery and thus not very filling or flavorful. You're better off getting a sandwich (again, as this was my 2nd visit) or going somewhere else for a smoothie.

Just one block away from South Beach on 14th Street, this place is a very popular fast food spot…read more Since South Beach restaurants are either expensive (20% gratuity even for a party of two) or extremely crowded, we walked one block inland and found this place. From a distance, it looks like a food truck, but it's actually a full setup designed to look that way. Even in the scorching heat, there was a line--but it moved quickly. Their menu has everything. Think of it as a Subway style setup, but with smoothies, tropical ingredients, and lots of fresh options. Now the main part...We ordered- Chicken Mix Baguette Tuna Baguette Am I the only one who found it just okay? At Subway, at least they toast the bread for a bit. Here, I genuinely struggled with the hard bread--it was tough to chew. Also, the meats were cold, which I'm not used to. I knew that beforehand, but still wanted to try this hyped spot. They have about 5-7 bar style stools for seating, but in the humidity, it's not the most comfortable experience. Freshness (smoothies & ingredients): 5/5 Overall taste & experience: 3/5 Or maybe we're just spoiled by the big fast food chains?

It's been a while since I've gone to a restaurant and the service and food quality was so amazing that it literally made me stop in my tracks but here we are! I started with a hot mocha latte. I am a coffee snob and this drink was made to perfection! Absolutely delicious and I didn't want the cup to end! It was the perfect balance of smoothness and warmth and it was sweetened perfectly! For breakfast, I decided to get the mushroom toast and it was amazing! I was skeptical about the ricotta addition but it was spread on the toast like butter, very plentiful and tasty! That along with the other ingredients used made it taste exceptional! Perfect price point too! I was more than satisfied! Last but not least the service by host staff and waiters was top tier.
