He had just taken a buffalo chicken pizza fresh out of the oven and we got two slices (which were huge)!! This is a weekly staple in my house. We love his sheet pizza and always get that and some other menu item. So far I have had the steak sandwich, baked ziti, bacon double burger, and a few others. Each was awesome. If you want a side, try his hot knots or garlic knots (breadstick variation). Aside from the food, the owner is always there, cooking and ensuring customers are taken care of. I've been an occasional customer of Robbie T's since moving to the area in 2005. My dining experience at this establishment has been limited exclusively to pizza, although I'm looking forward to trying Robbie's wings. I was raised in an Italian environment where pizza was made any number of ways by any number of relatives and friends.... always good, sometimes great. I also lived in New York City for many years and ate different styles of pizza often. At the risk of sounding pompous, I know pizza. With that said, the pizza at Robbie T's is mediocre at best. However, if I'm hungry for pizza and driving by Robbie T's, you can bet more often than not I'm stopping. Supporting local businesses operated by family oriented, community-conscious merchants often trumps my desire for the perfect dining experience. Although the pizza itself won't win any awards in my book, I always walk away from Robbie T's feeling satisfied. And finally, it's the only place I'm aware of where I can get a Yoo-hoo with my pizza. Rob is overjoyed by everyone's business, and genuinely enjoys slinging pies, QUALITY pies. If you want something different, I highly recommend a calzone. As explained to me, he takes a dough for a large pizza, stretches it out, loads it up, and folds it over. Every time I order one, he laughs and tells me it's the biggest calzone he's ever made, and he put so much stuff in it! He's not lying, it's several meals worth of calzone! Awesome pizza and experience. We went after the Balloon Fest and Robby took care of us. Friendly from the time we walked in until we left. Pizza was legit. We had the chicken bacon ranch and I'm pretty sure it was the best I've had. Chicken was cooked perfectly and tasted like it was legit chicken. Also tried the mango habanero wings. Excellent wings and the sauce was also good. Had the right blend of sweet and spicy. Only downside was the inside was so hot. It was a nice evening and we decided to eat outside before stepping in the door, but there's no way you can enjoy the pizza with the family inside there if it was poor weather outside. 1st time there, so not sure if it is like that all the time, but if it's not, I'd give it 5 stars. My first trip to Robbie T's was with a close friend of mine who lived near by. I was blown away the second I walked in. Robbie T greeted us both with a smile and a fist bump, greeted my friend by name, and asked him how his father' trip back home was. Right away I figured my friend was a regular, based on how well Robbie knew him...turns out this was only his third time in. He came over and talked to us the entire time we were waiting for our food, which was delicious. As other people have mentioned, Robbie doesn't take your money until after you're done to make sure you enjoyed it before he pay for it. Since it was my first time, I didn't have any cash, which is all they take. I immediately got nervous thinking I couldn't pay for my meal. Robbie told me not to worry about it and just get it next time I came in like it was no big deal at all. Low and behold the next time I came in more than a week later he greeted me by name with the same fist bump and smile. The only thing this guy loves more than his pizza is his customers. There's a difference between being genuine, and kissing your customers asses for better profits, and Robbie T is the definition of a class act. Also got a chicken wing pizza, which was also very good. The owners were super attentive and friendly. Please note that the place is cash only. ATM on premises though. Every single time I go to Syracuse, I try to get to Robbie T's. It's the gold standard of service for me, and has--I kid you not--the best hot wings I have ever eaten. In fact, I would say that Robbie's wings are my favorite single food of all time. His pizza is great, too, although I'm no pizza gourmet...but I *am* quite picky about my calzone, which is perfect every time. And yeah, to agree with everyone else re: Robbie himself, he's the kind of guy who's been running the store since the '80s and who doesn't leave as long as it's open. Hands down, this is the best pizza in the Syracuse area. My family and I were eating their meatball pizza last night, and I was really trying to figure out what made this pizza so good. The sauce is rich and well-balanced, there is a mix of cheeses, and the meatballs are delicious on their own. Probably the most perfect pizza i've ever eaten. I've had Robbie T's since I was a little kid and have always liked it. It's not the absolute best pizza but it's damn good especially for the area. The sausage pizza is my favorite and the wings are very unique because Robbie puts ketchup in the wing sauce. I know it sounds weird and everyone doesn't like it but it makes for a thick wing sauce, not runny like if he used Frank's red hot. I wish they weren't closed on Sundays (I'm assuming they still are because I haven't been there since summer 2012) but Robbie is a family guy so I get it. He's really nice and he'll make a pie if he doesn't have any slices to sell because it's after dinner rush. read more

Iv be a customer now for allmost 20 years even when the pizza shop was in the plaza and the video game of choice was heavy barrel I stopped in for the first time sence 2001 so this is a loco review iv lived in jamesville Lafayette airea most my life robby t pizza is well known in the airea and local community. I stopped in and right away I saw the owner interacting with the costumers I walked up to the counter and was amediantly taken care of I asked for a slice of cheese pizza the employee grabbed a hole cheese pizza of a spider rack cut a slice put it right in the oven then the owner ask me how I was doing the employee pulled the pizza out of the oven put in the box and sed thank you for coming and then sed that will be 1.85$ in fairness I did not eat the slice of pizza it was fresh and definitely not ben sitting around like other pizza shops I have reviewed so I can not give any review on tast Pryor to 2001. 2001 was the last time I had eaten any pizza from robby t. As I was paying for the pizza the owner ask how I was doing then went back to making pizza the employee then sed thanks for coming. I give this review 4 stars just for costumer service and will not rate this review on tast or quality.The price is good 1 star , the slice is a good size 2 star , costumer service was good 3 star, and a owner who interactive with costumers 4 star, I can not recommend or recommen this pizza shop read more
