The mechanics were knowledgeable in diagnosing what caused my flat tire and showed me what they had found. Josh went above and beyond in finding the best possible way to get me back on the road after informing me my flat tire was due to damage on my wheel (as a result of a different mechanic). He was precise and knowledgeable- exhausting all resources to search for creative solutions that were cost/time effective and practical. Josh used language that I could understand when informing me of what he was looking for and why. All the while, he maintained a friendly and personable relationship. Josh greeted me warmly by name each time I returned to the store and promoted my safety in every service recommendation. The staff in the front of the house mirrored these characteristics and the individuals I met in the shop were honest and competent. I will continue to have my vehicle serviced here and found the wait times to be modest, despite the complaints of some guests while waiting. However, the walk-in customers' vehicles were prioritized, and I observed that my vehicle remained unattended in the parking lot while I waited in the waiting room. Despite checking the service monitor, my vehicle was not listed. It appeared that I was at the back of the queue, and my truck was still where I had parked it. I attempted to cancel the service, but a representative stated it would take 45 minutes to finish my vehicle. then they brought it in the service area. After waiting for two hours, as indicated on the monitor, the walk-in customers were serviced first. My $1,100.00 purchase was treated with disrespect. My wife and I have been customers of Town Fair Tire for decades; however, this experience has ended our patronage. Manager said, come on in, anytime, despite my wanting to make an appointment. Next day, I show up at 11:30a, said I was the guy who called asking to make an appointment for a balancing. All of the staff were at max capacity, and manger was looking a bit frazzled. Manager recognized me by my intro. I said, "I'll bet you wish you.." and he finished my sentence: "wished I hadn't told you to come in anytime?" We both chuckled, and he said, "let me see what I can do." He popped his head into the shop, and within seconds, said, "I've got you." Fifteen minutes later, a tech popped out of the shop and asked if my wheels had EVER been balanced, because there was no sign of any weights ever having been there (alloy rims). I said that I was surprised, because Costco had done the install six years earlier, and I had never had problems with their work before. Needless to say, they now ride super smooth, and I have complete respect for the manager and technicians. Highly recommend.

The staff were incredibly prompt, professional, and polite. The service prices were reasonable and they easily allowed the use of company coupons. They also offered a free car wash coupon which was a nice bonus. This Valvoline express is also on the the same property as the triple play car wash and gas station so this is a one stop shop for all of your basic car needs. In my last oil change I believe one of the guys broke my oil dipstick tube. I remember one guy…read morelooking at the other with a "oh shit" look but nothing was said. A week or 2 later, I hear a tapping sound from my engine. I spent days trying to figure it out. Come to find out it's my metal oil dipstick tube, tapping on something else metal when the engine is running. I go for my new oil change & mention it.....basically looking for an apology. The first guy without looking at it said it's rusty & happens a lot on these cars. Second guy actually looks at it & says it's metal, we couldn't have broke this. It's a 12yr old expedition that I do the maintenance myself, just not oil changes.....so I know the truck well. Be careful......they'll break something on your car, won't say anything. Before they look at it, says it's rusty. Have another guy look at it & say we couldn't have done this. Everything but an apology & a discounted oil change. I've been going there for over 15 years, take all my cars there. I have to go another one now!!!!!!!
