This is sad news as A & S Salumeria has been an iconic Italian deli/meat shop that served some amazing subs and Italian specialties in an inviting and pleasant setting. Seared tuna salad, which is seared tuna with pickled carrot, red onion and wasabi vinaigrette. We thought it was pretty good. The tuna was seared nicely. Hubs think they should have a lightly seared tuna sandwich, too! LOL Chicken salad sandwich, which is chicken salad on egg bread roll. Hubs said that this was good, too. Their rolls are really soft here. I asked if we could buy another roll but was told that we have to order another sandwich. The owner makes enough rolls for his sandwiches. We also ordered soup but forgot the name of it. I think it was carrot ginger and it wasn't bad. The owner was giving us little samples of all his soups, as soon as we walked in. For those ordering sandwiches, know that they're enormous. A half order is an 11" deal, while the whole is a Brobdingnagian 22".
