    - Service: Fast and friendly staff. - Ambiance: Spacious, nice, and clean. - Food: They have lunch special so if you want to save a bit, definitely check out their lunch menu! + They have the best calamari I've ever had. The portion is big and they included fried olives and pepper too! I have my calamari with pepper, salt, and lemon, so I cannot speak for their marinara sauce that comes with the dish. + They have a nice variety of pizza and pasta. I went with classic bolognese. The portion is huge and delicious. I took a peak at other table's pizzas and they look so good too. Would definitely come back for the pizzas and more pastas! Highly recommend anyone this restaurant if you ever visit Cranbury - a pretty historical town in Central Jersey.

The food was great, but what really swayed my rating further upward was their stellar service. Our waitress (didn't catch her name but the check said Sasha!) was outstanding! My husband and I came in with our three littles to celebrate our anniversary - yes, it was absolute chaos but her calm demeanor and welcoming personality made our experience so much more enjoyable. Anyone with children knows how hard it can be but everyone was so accommodating!  For food, we were huge fans of the Contadina pizza - best artisan pie we've found in years! The rigatoni alla vodka was delicious - saucy just the way we like it! Our waitress brought out a huge tray with a display of desserts and there were an array of treats to choose from. .. truly something for every sweet lover.  We've added Tony's to our list of repeat restaurants! Can't wait to come back and try more off their extensive menu.

The Ambiance Its Clean!! The customers and staff are enjoying themselves every tv has something if you want to watch something just ask!

I've gone here twice. The food is excellent. The Pizza's always spot on I always get the plane with the pep. The service is awesome. Everyone's happy, smiling and the atmosphere and ambiance is excellent. It's like a upscale sports club, but not so upscale. You feel uncomfortable. Period every age can go. There's 20 plus TVS and the food's great. You can't go wrong with the plain thin pie with some pep. And good people, it's very hard to find good restaurants with good people. And by positivity

Tony's Open Kitchen is a great Italian addition to the neighborhood. I recently went to dinner her with a group of 10. Everyone enjoyed their food. The pasta entrees were a hit and the Regolare Pizza was great (ohh.. that sauce). The service was fast and efficient. I ordered then eggplant parmigiana, which was awesome and a plentiful portion size. I liked the fact that it was not deep fried, but instead lightly battered and baked. The accompanying vegetables were all so flavorful and delicious. The complimentary bread was hot, fresh and tasty out of the oven. It's a BYOB, so that's a plus. I look forward to going back and trying some of the other entrees. Note: They charge 3% for using a credit card and will only do up to 3 credit cards per table. That created a bit of an issue with 10 people, since not everyone had cash on hand.

A la Tony pie( requested well done, very good!)

I noticed this place when I searched Hot and New Restaurants on Yelp. We came for a family lunch and we all enjoyed it. The spacious and newly opened place was almost empty on a Saturday afternoon. There is even a patio when weather and crowds permit. We ordered 2 salads, a pie called a la Tony, and the baked zitis with sausage and meatballs. The salads were huge and well prepared, sorry no photos but the farro and veggie salad were both enjoyed. I concentrated on the pie, the ingredients were onion, garlic, mushroom and artichoke, I requested well done and was very happy with the results. This is grandma style and perfectly crisp on the entire bottom. I loved it. My uncle enjoyed his pasta dish, perhaps the meatballs more than the sausage. And they were a generous portion too. Customer service was friendly but unsure. I think some servers were new and were not at all familiar with the menu. There were a few hiccups but nothing major, and not in the food quality. I'd definitely return to try other items, but would likely order another pie.

Mozzarella and carrozza and calamari. Not like the photos on the website.

We succeeded in both respects, saving over $20 a week in Java fees and thoroughly enjoying our handiwork as we controlled our filtered water and fresh ingredients throughout the process. But, yesterday I found myself out and about - out of coffee and about to take drastic action to remedy this problem. I looked up as I drove through Cranbury, NJ, and saw a sign for Lyberry Cafe in a newish commercial strip on the south side of town. The Universe provides. I pulled in, parked and walked in to a chill large warehouse-looking space with painted library walls on one end with comfy leatheresque easy chairs and small tables for privacy, and a long row of tables/wooden benches/chairs along running the length of the deep room and partially across from the service area. I had to acknowledge feeling passing strange being in a cafe for the first time in a long while, but I managed to check their menu and order a small Americano to go before taking a seat at the end table closest to the door. Why not sit and relax for a few before returning to my wheels? It wasn't crowded around noon, and the folks seemed like they were settled in for a while. Some working; most chatting. I sipped the strong steaming hot joe. Yep! Definitely strong enough to remove the wearies and retune me up for my afternoon agenda. Still, couldn't help feeling a little out of place. Just spending money for commercial coffee, once so commonplace; but now so strangely wasteful put me in touch with how transitory some habits are. Three average caffeinated stars for the ho-hum of this or any such consumption outpost. I think I have lost my Lyberry card.

Lots of your standard diner options on the menu, and I think it's pretty good for what it is. We were there pretty early, so not a lot of people in there, but plenty of space inside too. It's located in a nice spot in the center of town, and at least at the time there was plenty of street parking. No dedicated parking lot as far as I could tell, but street parking wasn't too hard.

Their daily homemade soup menu is worth a look, with veggie and vegan options across the big board. Combo soup and sandwich is also in play. I went with a Tuna Hoagie on foot long torpedo, with accompanying soft drink and bag o' chips. The tuna was freshly made, with tomato and lettuce, and a side cup of sliced dill pickles that I stuffed into the sandwich for extra crunch and semi sweet flavor enhancement. I had requested that the proposed pickle spear not be built into the sammy to avoid dampening the roll too long before consuming. The cashier/order taker/short order cook took care of business with a pleasant smile and engaging repartee. Ate when I arrived home 40 minutes later, and everything was in great shape and quite tasty. I could only finish half of the meal.
