My mother has been wanting to start playing her piano again but it was in desperate need of tuning. I contacted Robert Cope Piano Tuning and received an immediate response and scheduled the appointment. I called Momster to see how things were going and Robert was still there. I could hear music in the background...my conversation with Momster was brief and I was told to call back later. Now, I know nothing about pianos, piano playing or piano tuning. I will say my mother was extremely pleased with Robert's services. She appreciated his professionalism, his pleasant attitude and apparent passion about his work. There was also some weird karma at work; my late father (who purchased the piano as a gift to her for their 25th anniversary) is also named Robert. The song he was playing when I called was my mom's favorite - Clair de Lune. Those two things alone made my mother's day...in addition to the phenomenal work Robert did. I've been playing about 10 years and through that time about 6-7 different tuners have come through. Robert was recently out to tune the piano and I was quite impressed. Communication previous to the visit was prompt and clearly presented. He arrived exactly on time and was both pleasant and professional; sometimes you only get one or neither. He spend a lot of time and was very thourough with the tuning and made sure I was happy with it before he left.
