Everyone at Austin Endoscopy Center II was very professional. Phil was the tech that brought me back and he was able to get my IV on the first try. I wish I remember my pre-op nurse and post-op nurse as they were both great. The doctor had a couple difficult cases and ended up running behind. I never had to ask when it would be my turn, I had three people advise me of the delay and make sure I was taken care of. Do not delay your colonoscopy. Besides, you get a nice happy nap at the same time.

I tend to be really hard on myself and she always redirects and lets me know when something is and will always be out of my control BUT how medical intervention can help. This is going to be a side note but it is important- somehow I had an appointment the month my mother passed and six months later while I was having a miscarriage. The level of care and empathy Brandy showed me really made an impact on me. Both of these situations could have derailed my health, but she was supportive and it made a difference. I feel so lucky to have someone on my team who genuinely cares.

I was given weekly testosterone cypionate which is horrible because SHBG works like a buffer and me having ultra low of it causes a spike and trough which is even more detrimental to a person's health. Then I was told that my symptoms were in my head you are too incompetent to even understand my condition. Then I was told to do a research and find a compounding pharmacy, guess what, it's not my job you incompetent piece of trash. If you don't like your job, quit it. Me not being a medical practitioner has more knowledge about my condition and the more I study the more I find how incompetent you both are. It's a failure on your end that a person has to know more than you just because you gatekeep the medicine.

We were impressed by the thorough way Dr. Shepard and Rachel, the wonderful (PhD) Audiologist, conducted our exams and explained our results. All of our questions answered (in depth) and we even had a couple of good laughs along the way, and I'll never have to worry about my inner ear again!. First Visit: I had been dealing with a respiratory tract infection for almost 30 days and had already been treated by another community care center. Since I had a trip planned, I wanted to confirm whether I was still contagious. After completing my paperwork, I was called in quickly. The doctor reviewed my symptoms--fever that came and went, a bad cough, and throat discomfort. She checked my vitals, body temperature, and BP, which were all normal at that moment. Since I had already completed a round of antibiotics, she advised me to let my body fight the infection, reassuring me that I was no longer contagious. That was a relief, and I left Ally without being charged. Second Visit: After returning from my trip to California, I came back to Ally with a 103°F fever, severe body aches, extreme fatigue, and a baddd cough. This time, they ran every available test for infections and viruses, which confirmed that I had Influenza A, Influenza B, and COVID-19 and Respiratory Tract Infection. Unfortunately, since I had been sick for over a week, the doctor explained that antiviral medication wouldn't be effective. But they saw how severe my cough was, they prescribed an inhaler and cough medication to help manage my symptoms. I was charged $220 but that was in my best interest there are several other options which you can decide accordingly. What I appreciate most about Ally is that they are upfront about costs. Unlike other ERs that seem to prioritize billing over patient care, they inform you of pricing in advance, giving you the option to accept or decline services based on what's in your best interest. I honestly trust them more than my own physician at this point. I once took a friend to another ER where she tested positive for the flu. All they did was checked her vitals and BP before prescribing medication. Later she received a bill for $1,000. I was very ill at the time, so I do not have any pictures of Ally. However, I've attached a screenshot as proof of my visit.
