I hadn't been to the dentist in about ten years when I went to see Dr. Yeary. I had a tremendous level of anxiety about going, but I knew that I had to. I almost turned back around when I was almost there. Upon walking in I was greeted by Jody, who is an incredibly warm and sweet person with a beautiful smile. I was immediately taken back with no wait time and she sat down, and listened to my previous negative experiences and she made sure that I didn't have to repeat myself with anyone. She asked what I wanted to achieve, and passed on the message to others so they were also aware. I then spoke with Nina, who is Dr. Yeary's assistant. She is one of my very favorite people, and she understands my anxiety regarding dental work and never makes me feel silly or foolish for it. She has really gone out of her way to make my experiences comforting and more positive, and she really succeeds every time. Dr. Yeary was very open and honest with me about everything that I needed done, and he never pressured me to do anything I didn't want to do. He recommended different options based on what I wanted. He's a very calming man, very professional, and I completely trust him. They set me up that day with a cleaning, and Jody had all the information for my insurance before they started. Debbie cleaned my teeth, and removed all the stains I had with ease - I was certain I was going to have to undergo some type of surgery to get it all off. Debbie was very easy to talk to, and understanding of my anxiety just as Dr. Yeary and Nina were. I make sure that she is the one I am scheduled with for my cleanings, and she knows my quirks and needs and never fails to accommodate. As long as Debbie is still cleaning teeth, I will never go to anyone but her. Since that first appointment, I've had fillings, and not only was Dr. Yeary amazing and made my comfort his top priority, Nina was with me and she makes everything so much better! Just the other day I started to have some pain in two baby teeth that I was needing to get removed. I contacted Jody, and she set me up the next day to get them removed. I was very very scared, and I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to go through with it. I asked Jody if Nina would be with me, and she said if I wanted her to be she definitely would be. She immediately went to go tell her that I would like her to be with me, and Nina didn't even need to be told because she was already prepared to be there with me. Again, Nina and Dr. Yeary made sure I was completely comfortable. Nina talked to me extensively before to do whatever she could to make me feel better. Both of them were very comforting, and pulling the two teeth only lasted about five minutes. I still have more procedures I will be getting done with Dr. Yeary, and there is no one I trust more to follow through with my goal to have a more confident and healthy smile. My biggest complaint is that Dr. Yeary can't pull my wisdom teeth, as he's the person I trust most! You will not be disappointed if you go to Dr. Yeary, especially if you suffer from anxiety like me. They are wonderful people, and although I hate the dental work itself, I feel happy to see everyone when I go! read more

I have been putting off going to the dentist for a very long time, due to previous bad experiences and no finances. I had a lot of anxiety about the appointment, but my greeting at the door was wonderful. The very first thing I was asked when sitting down was how I felt about the appointment. I told them I was anxious and they immediately asked what they could to ease that. I felt like everything and anything I asked for was tended to with no issue at all. They were very attentive to my anxiety, and very easy to talk to. They each conveyed all the information I gave them to each other, so I never had to repeat myself. By the time Dr. Yeary came in to see me, he was where I had come from, my concerns, and my anxiety. Oh, and they also let me know they had an opening for cleaning and asked if I wanted to take it. I was able to slide right in after my appointment, and get my teeth cleaned. They gave me laughing gas to help keep me calm, which I was so happy with, because all my other dentists would only use them for fillings and not for deep cleanings. It really helped take the edge off and eased my mind while Dr. Yeary had to give me a shot to numb my mouth and Debbie cleaned my mouth. It took Debbie approximately 30 minutes to clean the top part of my mouth, whereas in the past it has taken up to two hours before. She was also able to get the stains off my gums with no problem or issue. They also came in before to discuss how my benefits would work, and exactly what I would need to pay out of pocket for the expenses. Debbie was wonderful and tended to my needs with excellence. I even get a little emotional thinking about my first experience with this dental office. I have another appointment at the end of the month to get the rest of my cleaning done, and to go over my benefits for the rest of the dental work I need to do. I am so happy with this appointment, and I think I have found my dentist. I have already recommended Dr. Yeary to my roommate, and she is about to schedule an appointment. I also told a lot of my coworkers who are also going to look into him, because they are unhappy with their dentists around this area. There is only one word to describe this office-spectacular. From the moment I walked in the door, I felt right at home. How many dentist offices can you say that about? Where a typical dental office welcomes you with a bored woman sitting behind a glass panel asking you to take your clip board, sit quietly, and spend the next fifteen minutes stressed about paperwork, Dr. Yeary's office offers a warm, smiling receptionist who already knows your name before you walk in the door. She fills your paperwork out for you while you get to take a seat and relax on one of the many choices of seating-be it a chair or the comfy green sofa. "Would you like coffee or water?" she will ask you. Not right now? You can wait until your appointment is over and take one on the road. After what is never a long wait, you will be escorted to one of the four optimally outfitted rooms. A little chilly? Not to worry, they have blankets. You may just think you're laying on your own couch at home once you put the headphones on and watch the TV suspended above your head. And don't worry about having to turn around to look at a miniscule picture of your x-rays, they will appear on the screen you were just watching HGTV on. Before you know it, they'll be finished, and Dr. Yeary will come in and make you feel like you are the most important patient he has ever had. He makes you feel comfortable and explains things in terms that you can understand. You will never get that feeling of being at an auto mechanic's shop. You know, the one where they diagnose your car with all of these things just so they can make a buck. Not here. If Dr. Yeary says you need something, then you really need it. Concerned about the cost? No worries. He and his staff are always willing to give you as much information as they can to help you achieve your smile goals. When you're all finished, you will be offered a flower at check-out, as if the royal treatment just received for an hour wasn't enough. "Is this a spa or a doctor's office?" you will ask yourself. You treat yourself to a chap stick and a candy bar on your way out the door. Then the most surprising thing will happen-you'll think to yourself, "I can't wait to go to the dentist again." read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Yeary's for several years, and cannot recommend him highly enough ! I had had horrific dental experiences decades ago, and my anxiety level was sky high when I finally went to see Dr. Yeary. His entire staff was very understanding and went out of their way to get me through my first visit trauma free... Now I walk in without even thinking about it, no anxiety, no stress, and feel quite at home there. Cold? Here is a blanket. Thirsty? Here is bottled water. All done? Here is a flower to say thank you for being our patient. Really?? They truly show their appreciation for you being their patient! Dr. Yeary explains what needs to be done in a language that I can understand, and makes sure I have no questions left unanswered when I leave. We discuss options, so that I feel I make the best decision for me and my dental health. He is very skilled and does beautiful work, leaving no detail undone. Last year I chose to have a dental implant rather than a bridge. However, I have heard horror stories about how painful implants were! (ok, I had a little bit of anxiety about this visit) I Do Not Do Pain! Well, Dr. Yeary does not believe in pain, either! He gave me some sedation, and the entire procedure was entirely pain free! I even fell asleep off and on while he was doing the procedure! I did not need pain meds at all, even that same day. I recommend Dr. Yeary to all my friends and family. My parents (both in their 90s) also go to him now and love him, too! How many places will take that much time and effort to make you feel at home? And who appreciate you being there? I moved to Texas 4 years ago and had a hard time finding a great dentist. I'm a chicken when it comes to the dentist, even for a cleaning. My friend referred me to Dr. Yeary and I kept procrastinating due to my past experiences with other dentists that I have been to. Well I procrastinated a little too long, I woke up this morning in pain and finally called Dr. Yeary. The wonderful staff got me in right away. Dr.Yeary was so caring and made sure I was comfortable as I had to have a root canal. I never thought I would ever find a great dentist but I did! I can't say enough about Dr. Yeary, he is truly diamond in the rough. From the time I walked in the front door until I left you are treated so special it was excellent. The entire staff makes sure your comfortable the entire time. I take my girls to a pediatric dentist so they have a great expierence however will be moving them to Dr.Yeary because I can't think of a more caring man to care for my girls. My husband and I have been going from McKinney to Dr. Yeary's office for several years--the expertise of of this dentist and his staff are well worth the trip. This year I had to call from a Saturday road trip with increasing pain--Dr. Yeary answered immediately and sent me a scrip, and said to come in first thing Monday as I would be back in town. Root canal--not my favorite--but Dr. Yeary truly makes it comfortable. I was pain-free after the local wore off. That said, his approach is conservative; I've never felt pressured to agree to any work suggested. His assistants and hygienists are the BEST; there is very little turnover in this office, which speaks to the integrity of their leader. We've recommended him to friends of ours here, and now they make the trip to Plano Smiles, too. read more

I can't even being to describe to you how much I dislike going to the dentist. As apprehensive I have been in the past, I no longer am because of Mason Yeary. As soon as you walk into this office, you are greeted immediately, making that unwanted stress fall away. I had to get a cavity filled that has been bothering me for about six months. Dr. Yeary is my favorite dentist that I've ever gone to. I trust him. He never pressures me to get something done, but he encourages me when I'm ready to get work done. His hygienist are the best too. They do their best to see that my visit is as pleasant and as pain free as possible.
