That's how I came across Burgers & Brews! Our server had great energy and have us great info about the menu. Including the burger are handmade using chuck, brisket, and I believe sirloin. We order and after a little while our food starts coming out. HANDS DOWN - Best burger myself, my hubby, and the teenager have ever tasted outside of our own kitchen. From the flavor of the meat, the juiciness, everything...it was outstanding! The fat content in the beef is extra filling so we got full quickly. We ended up taking pretty much half of all our meals home. Lets just say this....We enjoyed our food so much that the kid wanted to go here for his birthday the following Saturday. Hubs and I didnt need to think twice. Im glad B&B is no where near us, cause if it were, we'd be going here at least a few times a month for "linner".

The restaurant was empty, yet she hovered around our table constantly. She repeatedly interrupted us after just a few sips to ask if we needed refills, even coming very close and watching our drinks at eye level. It felt intrusive and awkward rather than attentive. Overall, the food was great, but the service was unacceptable and uncomfortable enough that it overshadowed the experience. It felt like I was being served by a crack head on the street. She should be embarrassed that she came to work that high.

This is a very cool neighborhood bar. We have been here a bunch of times and most recently they had an 80's themed night and it was really fun. The bartenders were very fun and the owner, Bobby, was extremely friendly and made the overall experience fun. I also like their Juke box. It's one that you can use your phone and request songs and music videos without even getting up! Fun times. read more

First off the bartender who was a younger lady seemed more interested in her phone than taking orders and seemed a little bummed to work but I dont blame her I dont want to work. I can say the drinks were reasonable and they did have seltzer options for the wifey. The ambience was pretty white trash even for the westside and that's coning from white trash growing up on the westside. They do have two pool tables that were well taken care of but ac was spotty depending on where you stand. They also had smoking which was new to me outside of legion hauls and it got unbearable when two people lit up at once. However, the hypocrite that I am thought it was cool that I could vape like a teenage white girl without hiding it from the gestapo so kudos to them for pushing the boundaries. Nonetheless cigarette smoke is nasty and still dont understand why people think others want to huff their blow back. Maybe im allergic or something. Now from the rumor meal I gleaned that the owner has a dog that runs freely and I heard others brought their dogs. They do have a back patio where I saw a guy let the dog out to do his business, around that same time my wife found a dog turd in the corner of the bar which grossed her out. I gave a few thoughts about picking it up, but a man has to have a line in the sand on cleaning up another man or dogs crap. We shot quite a few games of pool mainly cause we had the bartender turn on the juke box in-between her youtube videos and put in a few songs only to find out there was a queue jammed up that was 15 tracks long. I have seen some reviews that the bathrooms weren't clean but in this case it wasnt true other than the aforementioned doggy poo corner. They do have darts and I must say great billiards tables with a lot of travel. I also had a former coworker and huge fan of Aguilas tell me they have a cool basement at nights for added festivities which sounded really cool and gave me valley bar or downtown Cornish vibes if they can pull that off. Honestly aside from the cigarette smoke and my wife getting skeeved out by doggie doody I could have over looked the sub par service. Maybe ill go back for some basement raves on the weekend and change my perception on the place cause life is to short to just have one bad experience. Edit: I forgot to mention the Drive thru liquor store in front of the bar. We went inside and the dude working the counter was awesome and they had a great beer and liquor select, see its just hard to right a bad review without feeling like a Karen but that liquor store and personnel is 5 stars

The owner refused to allow the group with a service animal remain in the bar. First she is violating ADA rights and secondly, she could have addressed this in a more civil manner. For my entrée, also at her recommendation, I went with the Mexicali tacos. Whew. The service went from acceptable to nonexistent in a quickness. Once my order was placed, my bartender would rarely speak to me again. She did, however, find plenty of time to make TikToks with a patron sitting two chairs down from me. The second bartender spent much of her time talking to him as well. Meanwhile, I sat there with an empty beer and no food for well over 20 minutes. I received multiple check-ins and multiple assurances that my food would be "right out." It was, in fact, not right out. Eventually, I grew tired of waiting and asked for the tacos to simply be boxed to go. By the end of my roughly one-hour visit, I had consumed one beer, eaten some chips and queso, watched approximately three or four TikToks get filmed, and received four separate assurances that my food was almost ready. Eventually, my "extra-special tacos made with extra-special love"--the bartender's words to make up for the wait--finally arrived. I opened the box to discover that the shrimp wasn't even left whole. It had been chopped up and scattered throughout three tacos. So it took roughly an hour to produce three tacos containing what amounted to maybe nine chopped-up shrimp? Yeah, nah. I understand the concept of Ojos Locos. The attractive staff and atmosphere are obviously part of what they're selling, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. But the looks don't make up for nonexistent service and the inability to produce three shrimp tacos in a reasonable amount of time. I came in hoping Ojos Locos could salvage the evening after watching the D-backs get their asses kicked. Somehow, I left feeling like I had taken two losses that night.
