I have tried this location a few times now. Each time is the same. Looooong wait times and sub par food. The lunch I got today for my employees was over cooked so bad the patties were black on half the patty. The fries were barely warm and the buns tasted stale. For the price point and wait time this should not be an issue but unfortunately it is. When you are on a lunch break and limited on time you want to make sure you use it wisely so when this happens it really sucks because now I have to go back out and spend more money to get something I can actually eat. Here's the thing the food here is pretty dang good, but the service left me feeling like I'd rather spend my money elsewhere in the future. We arrived at about 745pm after a very long day dealing with a family emergency. The location closes at 10pm so we felt we had ample time to sit and enjoy our meal inside. I would have no issue with that I'd of just liked a be with you shortly etc . ...which I will say finally came after to we stood there looking at her in dismay. Once she finally came over and asked for our order I started to tell her. I asked for a shake with my meal when she quickly and rudely said I'm not making more shakes tonight. Which i get if it was super close to closing etc, but why do you offer shakes if you're refusing service for items you sell hours before you close? We were starving after a long day so I told her fountain drink was my only option apparently. My son ordered his meal and we were told it would be brought out. We did not have to wait too long as there was only one other table eating. This employees tone just set off such a negative vibe for me. Have some table manners, professionalism, courtesy..i dont know act like you care that you work in customer service. That goes a long way and it would make it easier to understand what might be going on . Not just I'm not making those anymore with an attitude was just rude. I'll end this with the food was great. Burger had good flavor, toppings fresh and fries crispy but not over done. Prices were a bit high so you think service would match it. I had high hopes for this place because it's cute but man oh man... truly the worst burger I have ever had. We went through the drive thru (employee on the mic was really nice). I ordered a chocolate malt. Was given a chocolate shake, not a malt. It was made with chocolate soft serve ice cream - super gritty and just gross. I got a double cheeseburger and tots. The burger patties were hard and very clearly not cooked recently. The bun was cheap and flavorless. The entire burger was lukewarm at best, not even close to hot. My husband got coney dogs which were tiny but hot. The 2 stars is solely for the tater tots which were at least hot and tasty. At the drive thru I looked at my receipt was confused. I have a photo below. My order added up correct, sales tax too but after it was totaled there was a different total where about a $1.25 had been added. Below that it said , "cash" $29.00. I would say that the first thing you notice about this place is how absolutely dirty and filthy it is. Their back door was open so I got to see how grimy their kitchen was. Their outside seating tables was filled with trash and the trash cans were overflowing. Inside, the tables aren't wiped down either. It felt unsanitary. Omg just went to Lenny's bugers for lunch. I had a pastrami sandwich best sandwich I have ever had . It was cooked to perfection the taste was unbelievable. French fries where nice and hot and you got alot of them. My husband got double buger said it tasted so good he would get it again. We also got fried zucchine we are very picky about them. Lenny's USED to be a great place for burgers. Not so much anymore. Zero customer service, if you ask for condiments or napkins they just point over in the corner. I am fairly positive they had the diet soda and regular mixed up based on my diabetic sugar readings. Lenny's has gone to maximizing profits, minimizing quality of food. Smiles must have been another thing they are minimizing. Me and my group went to Lenny's for a project and we were blown away by the service and food. The vibe was immaculate and the food was excellent. I ordered the cowboy burger and it reminded me of my farm home in Kansas. The workers were extremely friendly and polite.
