The changing rooms/bathrooms are roomy, well lit, attractive and clean. There is plenty of common space for a quick discussion or chat. The general decor of the facility is sleek and creative (loved their beautiful black pool table). The physical area around Left Space is very non-descript, I've walked by this block a million times and had no idea such a fancy facility was hidden inside. If you're a professional photog with a healthy budget check this place out.

Parking was kind of a bitch but none the less we made it! The venue is super clean and professional. I love that you have to be buzzed in so you don't have to worry about randoms coming onto the property while you are inside. The bathrooms are large and well lit which is a plus. There are several waiting areas with couches and games and a pool table. Our audition sign in was in the blue room. Super big and clean!

I accidentally dropped my Nikon 18-105mm lens and noticed some distortion on the bottom left…read morequadrant of all my photos. I gave Yakov a call and he told me to bring it over immediately for inspection. On first look, he actually wasn't convinced that anything was wrong but after taking a few test shots, he noticed the same issue I saw (most of the bottom left quadrant was blurry while the rest of the image was sharp). Unfortunately, he wasn't sure that he could fix it. He also had to borrow my camera body because he didn't have a Nikon on hand. During the duration of holding my camera, I neither received an update via email or via phone. It was a bit unsettling. I called him after 4 days for a check in and he told me it wasn't ready and hung up. I gave another call today (6 days later) and he told me that it was ready for pick up. When I arrived, he told me that he couldn't completely fix the issue but that it was greatly improved from its previous state. True, the distortion was drastically reduced in well lit situations or when focusing on objects far away, but on items closer, I can hear still the lens struggle to focus. Yakov said there's nothing he can do about that, but recommended I call Nikon. He still charged the entirety of his estimate...which I wasn't really satisfied with, given how the problem still persists. Yakov has 52 years of experience under his belt so he certainly knows his craft. But whether or not I would choose to use his service again, I'm not sure.

Turned off notifications and as many marketing requests that were visible. But in the first week - I received on average 2 to 3 emails per day. I even called Shutter Fly customer service and ask if their are hidden marketing buttons I haven't found - "you need to go through your account settings" that's it. Turned it off - deleted my account and still- junk mail!!!! Read the privacy settings - yep, when you open an account- they can market and share your information so partner businesses can market you. And they have no way of limiting the amount of advertising I get ... Oh well - my mistake- I thought I was dealing with a company as good as Costco.
