I am not technical at all, and in fact I secretly hate technology because things always go wrong and it takes forever to problem solve them and I have absolutely no patience for that. This move was no exception - if it wasn't AT&T not showing up for a week to connect the phone lines and internet, it was the inexplicable failure of my fax to not receive faxes even though I could send them. Not only did Daemon problem solve all my problems in stride, he seemed to actually enjoy the challenge and really brightened my day. He communicated articulately and often about what he was doing and how things were going - I was fully confident in his abilities during the whole process. Although I think it would have been funny if Daemon was like Moss or Roy from the show The IT Crowd - socially inept geeks who get into wacky mishaps - I appreciate that Daemon was super personable and easy to talk to.

Just wanted to give a quick update to my original review. I brought my laptop in over the weekend…read morebecause I was super concerned that I had a virus or malware. My device was running warm, and the fans would kick on after very minimal use. After running three different types of scans, checking the system information, etc., Bonom opened up my laptop and discovered the issue. The fans were completely clogged with an astonishing amount of my dog's hair. It was both amazing and disgusting to see the true power of the fans--the hair had been sucked up from leaving my laptop on my bed. Yelp, please learn from my shameful experience and don't leave your laptop on your bed for many reasons--it really does need to be left on a table. Bonom blasted it out with a special air hose, and now it's functioning like a normal, non-dog-hair-clogged laptop should. Hooray! While I was in the shop, three other customers came in. Bonom and his associate went above and beyond to help all of us. I saw them assisting one woman who was having an iCloud issue that Apple absolutely could and should have helped her with, but she was here because of the customer support and patience you'll get at Marin Computer Repair. Bonom didn't charge me for his assistance and was very much not upselling the other women I saw him help, which is really decent of him. In situations with cars, computers, or basically anything with a lot of hardware and software involved, I've often felt and been taken advantage of as a young female customer. That is never the case here, which is why I recommend them over anyone else.
