Still have no confidence in this man. He looked at my MRI and told me it was normal as was my physical exam, it was Not normal, I am glad I found the right surgeon to fix the SLAP tear. His office girls were nice but did not care for the nightclub atmosphere. He wanted to slice open my wrist yet I was there for a shoulder injury, he was a waste of my time and money. Go somewhere else, as far as being upbeat, it was more like a euphoria, like you would see at a rave. His constant sniffles were annoying. He was more than willing to trow narcotics my way but only if I used his assigned pharmacy, just plain fishy. I am always leery of someone whom's fashion sense arrests in the 80's. read more

I know Dr Kolesnik since 2008. I went back to him last month March for my problems with my hands, wrists. Workers compensation didn't want to do any surgery on me. Dr Kolesnik ask me if I wanted to do a nerve test . Thanks to God I still have carpal tunnel both hands. Dr Kolesnik did my surgery April 3. He is friendly, compassion and have love for his patients. I took my son here because he is a wrestler and his knees were bothering him. Then during a match he broke his toe. The ER Dr's could not find anything wrong with his toe. I pulled him out from the ER and took him to this office behind the hospital. And what do you know... he had a broken toe! They have an xray room right in the office. Scheduling is so easy too. I would recommend this Dr for sure!!! Then being the 80s kid I am, I love the music played in the office and the environment. Oh and love the bunny rabbit that runs around the office too so cute and friendly. read more

The absolute most disrespectful, rude, uncaring, demeaning doctor EVER!! I cringe to even refer to him as such. When it comes to workers comp and the report he provides, he is very biased and will do and say whatever workers comp wants him to. You will NOT get a fair evaluation. The man has no emotion, zero bedside manner, looks like he just rolled out of bed which he probably did because he was over an hour late to the office with 3 people already waiting. Incredibly unprofessional!! There's no hiding the fact that he does NOT care about his patients. In fact, he behaves as if they annoy him. He is very argumentative if you disagree with him and he often cuts you off mid sentence, not allowing for a full response to the question HE asked. The man is a joke. One of the worst experiences I have ever had with a medical doctor, I'd say professional, but he was nothing of the sort. I had a shoulder issue and the doctor mocked me. He actually chuckled at my ailment, suggested I take a pain killer that tested real poorly and then told me I may have arthritis. There was no signs or arthritis ever diagnosed. I was a competitive athlete who knew his body well who suffered an injury. This condescending nitwit and his horrible apathetic treatment was humiliating. I'm glad he's retiring. Don't waste your time. Worst customer service I have ever experienced in any medical facility. Good thing they're closing. I tried for several weeks to get a hold of somebody there to make an appointment they did not answer. I took time went there in person scheduled an appointment with the rude receptionist. Showed up today for appointment and was told they are not taking new patients because the doctor is retiring. They did not notify us and now two months of time is wasted and my daughter has to start the process process all over again. My husband went to see this doctor for a bump on his palm. The doctor had him try pain medicine when it was obvious he needed surgery. My husband had a mass the size of a grape growing out his hand!! When my husband went back after fail progress with the meds the doctor put his hand issue on hold because at the time my husband started having back pain too. We told the doctor that our concern was his hand. He insisted to wait and come back. Couple weeks later we go see him and tell us he stop doing hand surgeries about a year ago! Yes, this Dr. is a bit eccentric but when it came down to explaining my disorder, recommending treatment, explaining procedure, he is excellent. I went to him after seeing a Dr. in West Covina who gave me the bums rush, did not read my chart, and was cavalier. Dr. K knows his work. As for the loud music, yea, not a fan but he is so nice, he would gladly turn it down for his patients. read more

Dr. Kolesnik is so compassionate. My 7 year old daughter visited him for a broken foot. He was very kind and gentle with her. He has a sweet bunny (Bun Bun) that he will bring in to your room during your appointment. She loved the bunny and instantly felt more comfortable and less afraid. Dr. K took his time with us, showing me and explaining to me what he saw on the x-ray. He has been very thorough in her treatment. I'm not sure why others have bad reviews. Great Physician......good diagnosis, a skilled surgeon, great bedside manner, and he cares! I was walking right after surgery, out of pain, a remarkable recovery. Don't know if any of these poor reviews were warranted, sometimes folks are less patient, but I for one am most apreciative for the care Dr. Kolesnik delivered to me, considering I was in an incredible amount of pain when I visited him and now I am 100% ! Dr. Kolesnik has treated me and several of my family members over the past 22 years. He seems like a perfectionist when it comes to problem solving, but not in a stressed way. He will tell it like it is. His bedside manner is great, with a wonderful sense of humor. I've never seen him dull or bland...always upbeat, but serious when needed. I trust my children's care to him. Whenever we have an insurance change, he is the one I am looking for on the new plan. Unfortunately, much of that is out of my control, but I would go to him out of my own pocket for smaller orthopedic problems when he's not on our insurance plan.
