Dr. Khan gave me an order to have an upper endoscopy performed which was completed on 12/09/2021. I am very happy with Dr. Khan and his bedside manner. I've gone through two separate primary care doctors just to get the referral--both were approved by my insurance. I've filled out piles of paperwork, completed their long online questionnaires, and submitted every document they asked for. Despite doing everything right, they still won't schedule the appointment. Every time I call to follow up (which I've had to do over and over), they come up with some new excuse to delay or deny my care. First, they said they needed to contact my pulmonologist. What if I didn't even have one? Then they demanded EKG results from the past six months--what if I've never had an EKG? Are they going to deny me care for that too? It's obvious they're inventing hoops for patients to jump through just to cover themselves. I've had major medical procedures in the past that never required this level of documentation or bureaucracy. What they're doing is not just frustrating--it's outright denial of care. I even got my insurance company on a three-way call with them to confirm everything was approved, and the insurance rep told them directly that I was cleared to proceed. They still refused to schedule the appointment. To top it all off, their call center is outsourced to the Philippines, staffed with people who barely speak English, are rude, untrained, and totally incompetent. There is zero follow-up, no accountability, and no one actually trying to help the patient. This is healthcare at its absolute worst. Avoid this office like the plague. If you value your time, your sanity, or your health--go somewhere else.

Will she tell you the things you need to hear! Yes. Dr. Ma doesn't sugar coat your well being. She is a straight shooter and gives you the facts. No pandering! My family has a history of colon cancer. After visiting multiple doctors in my 30s, I was recommended to Dr. Ma from another MD. At that time, she was the only gastroenterologist that understood my situation, built a plan around my family history, and went above and beyond my care regiment. She takes her time to look at every aspect of your record, health history, and physical and mental well being. Dr. Ma may seem abrupt, but that is normal. She is all business, but if you take a moment, get to know her, she is very engaging. So much so that she will chat beyond your allotted appointment time. I have a great relationship with Dr. Ma. Even though we do not socialize, I would consider her a good family friend. She cares that much, you just have to open your eyes and mind to see it.

He never rushes me, answers all my questions and makes sure he understands my concerns. He provides useful tips and resources so patients can be active participants in improving their health. He is compassionate and sympathetic to other conditions that do not relate to his practice. He is one of the few doctors that will follow up with a phone call after lab tests, something that most doctors no longer do. The reception area is clean, the staff is pleasant and organized. I never understood what is the required $500 deposit for if you have health insurance coverage. I…read morepaid it anyway because I accepted the explanation that it was for incidental expenses and that I would get it back in 3 months. It took much longer than that and countless of phone messages, emails, and texts. One thing that really helpful was that I reached out to my health insurance provider for help. It was stressful! I did get my deposit but it was $30 less with no explanation of what the extra charge was for even when I tried to get one. Dr. Blosser is an excellent GI but I will not return to this practice nor would I recommend anyone to go to this practice because of the way it conducts its business. Dealing with this practice's business office is was a real nightmare!
