The staff is so on top of reminding, scheduling, accommodating for their patients. It is busy here because it is so popular. My kids are older but they still like coming for the last 3 years. They pick a video or iPad to keep them occupied, choose a toy/sticker/balloon animal and even get coins to get a couple little prizes from that old-school candy/prize machines. It's so cute how much they accommodate for kids! We also get quality toothbrushes...I haven't had to buy a toothbrush for them in years! Dr. Park is THE nicest man I have met and owns the business. We wait to see him and he is do personable, knowledgeable and trustworthy. I really need to feel like I am getting the best care with honesty and integrity with service and pricing and this is definitely the place!! Prior to the actual appointment, Dr. Suzy came out and spent time inquiring about my son's hygiene habits and even offered proactive tips. I was floored at how well the actual appointment and cleaning went. Sure, the five minutes felt like an hour as I held my son down while he whimpered, but Dr. Suzy and the hygienist sang the entire time while my son's nanny and I cheered him on. Afterward, he was rewarded with a balloon and life was good again. The woman at the front desk was incredibly friendly as well- introduced herself. She also helped me verify my out-of-network dental insurance benefits. Personal responsibility goes a long way, people!

The fact that the contracting with insurance and the leg work of insurance reimbursement is not handled by the office, but instead left to the patient, is in my opinion nothing short of a racket. I have not received reimbursement from my insurance and now it's my responsibility to call BCBS, sit on hold, wait for a reimbursement check. Hours of my time that should have been handled by the Grins administrative office. If you have money to flush down the toilet - this practice is great. If not - do not recommend. We do need to follow up with an oral surgeon, which I expected, as I heard the same information from his previous dentist. As she became increasingly upset, the response was to suggest holding her hands and legs to continue the exam. For a non-urgent, first visit, this did not feel appropriate to us. During this time, a second hygienist made joking comments and laughed about our child's distress, which felt unprofessional and dismissive. When we chose to end the visit, we were told "it will be the same next time," rather than discussing alternative, child-centered approaches. This was surprising, as we have had very different experiences at other pediatric dental practices where first visits focus on comfort, narration, and gradual exposure rather than restraint.
