Despite booking a full-service cleaning, the hygienist spent nearly an hour touring the facility, asking extensive dental history questions, running scans, and reviewing potential treatment plans--with the dentist briefly stepping in at the end. It quickly became clear that this prolonged diagnostic process was just a setup to rack up exam fees and manufacture a reason to push costly, unnecessary treatments for profit. After all that administrative and diagnostic time, the actual physical teeth cleaning lasted less than 10 minutes, only for them to tell me I suddenly needed a deep cleaning. Spending an hour padding charges and pushing over-treatment only to rush through a less than10-minute cleaning does not feel like quality patient care. Won't be returning.

The space is clean and modern with top of the line equipment... they even gave me a tour of the facility and a goodie bag with full sized products upon my first visit. The entire staff from the front desk to the hygienists and doctors are all warm and welcoming. I never felt pressured or upsold on anything and while they are constantly booked up with appointments months out, they set aside dates and times for new patients and/or emergencies. On top of that, they're open early in the mornings AND on weekends so they make it easy for people who can't take time off of work during the week. I've done a deep cleaning here, replaced an old crown and even did the in-office zoom teeth whitening. All in all, I highly recommend coming to Grace Dental if you're looking for a good dentist.

They took a large number of x-rays. When they found out that I had another insurance policy as well, she decided to take even more x-rays. The work plan clearly would finance a new car. Couldn't believe the amount of decay that was discovered by this dentist and needed work. This reminded me of over 40+ years ago, my now wife, went to a dentist for an emergency and that dentist agreed to treat her, if she would come back for needed polishing of her amalgams. My old dentist didn't see these issues. I went to a new dentist a year later, who took new x-rays. This dentist, also a woman, is not on my dental plan; but is highly recommended. I had one cracked filling that needed to be repaired. Most of this was not covered by insurance; but turns out this was MUCH less money and much less impact to my mouth. Given the research I had done and the recommendations I had received, you can tell that I'm EXTREMELY disappointed in Lucy Hua's office. After a week of constant pain, I couldn't wait any longer to get help. On a Friday night, I (desperately) reached out to any dentists who listed Saturday hours. Dr. Arora responded that same night and rearranged his Saturday schedule to accommodate me. The office was otherwise closed, but he was willing to come in and see me, a brand new patient he had never even met, because I needed help. That meant a lot, and immediately told me he genuinely cares about people, not just appointments on a schedule. Dr. Arora gave careful, clear, clinical explanations of what he was seeing, what was causing my pain, and exactly what needed to be done. He made sure I understood what was going to happen, why he takes the approach he does, and what to expect afterward. I ended up needing two root canals to fix the previous dentist's filling. While no one *enjoys* a root canal, it honestly wasn't nearly as bad as I feared. It did take time - which he told me upfront - because he doesn't rush. My previous dentist had emphasized how quickly he could get me in and out, so it was actually refreshing to be treated by someone who prioritizes doing it properly. What really stood out is that while Dr. Arora's practice absolutely has modern technology, he clearly relies on skill and judgment first. It felt like being treated by someone who truly understands dentistry, not someone just following what a machine tells them to do. The previous office had all the flashy, high-tech equipment imaginable, and I still ended up needing two root canals to repair their work. The office also offers thoughtful touches like headphones, cozy blankets, and pillows, which make a bigger difference than you'd think when you're in the chair for a while.
