I worked in the kitchen at robertos log cabin and let me tell you the disgusting things i saw, dishes would be washed and still come out with old crusted food on them and served to customers. The cooks did not wear gloves and mixed everything with their bare hands.. waitresses would grab fries off the customers plate before serving it to them and the kitchen itself was kept in very poor condition. I never once ate anything while i was working there or after leaving. My advice to anyone who also lives in lebanon is to drive the extra couple minutes somewhere else and not risk getting sick from robertos food. read more

I've been going here for years and it's always been a great place to go get dinner when you just don't feel like cooking!! I've always had great experiences with the staff and the place has always seemed clean and comfortable. Over the many times I've visited, I've only had a few misses food wise, so I firmly believe those were outliers. Their chicken parm is delicious and has huge portions. I've been a customer for several years but I doubt that I'll be back. Yesterday, my wife and I stopped with another couple for an early dinner. The hostess ignored us and eventually a waitress to our drink order. There was background music which was loud and when we asked that they turn it down, they turned the volume up. Not once but twice. At that point we decided to leave but wanted to speak to the manager first. We were then told that the manager was too busy to talk with us. Some of the worst customer service I have ever seen. Well, I've had ribs at regular rib places, and in fact, these are the best. You can actually taste the smoke in those tender pieces. And when I told our attentive and friendly waitress Christa that, she told me they actually have their own smoker on the premises. And they come, as with most of his entrees, a wide selection of sides, so you're not stuck with "what comes with it". Terrible experience. Our waitress was Robin and was extremely rude to everyone at our table but would sit and chat with other tables. We waited almost 1.5 hours for food. Robin was very dismissive and rude towards my family. We couldn't even get water or grated cheese from her even asking multiple times. We were never asked for a refill on our drinks or even how the food was. Our sixteen year old spoke "too softly" and she was very hostile and rude about it. The food was decent but not worth the 2 hour wait, high cost, and rude waitress. This was an extremely frustrating experience, especially with our waitress. 10/10 do not recommend! read more

We had a preferred pizza for so many years closer to us. But, under new management, they consistently burned their cheese. Enter our friends, Log Cabin. We took another look at their pizzas and we're so glad we did. We consistently order their house pizza without anchovies and hamburg, (personal preference) and have always been so happy with their products. We order across their menu but let me tell you that their pizza is superb. We just tried home delivery tonight due to hospitalizations, and we're so happy. The stuffed eggplant is to die for; Fresh eggplant breaded and fried then stuffed with ricotta cheese and domestic ham, then topped with an amazing marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese, this menu item is served with a fresh salad and pasta. Surprisingly this menu item does not come with garlic bread. The chicken parm is a fresh chicken breast half pounded thin, breaded and fried. This is also covered with some of the best marinara sauce I have tasted and mozzarella cheese. This menu item is also served with a fresh salad and pasta, unfortunately garlic bread does not accompany this menu item. We placed a double order of garlic bread with mozzarella and gorgonzola cheese, which made a great accompaniment. We also ordered a side of meatballs, unfortunately this is why we scored them four stars and not five; frozen pre-made meatballs. For an establishment that has an extensive made from scratch menu to use frozen heat and serve meatballs is almost unforgivable. Tonite I and my grandson visited Roberto's for dinner.I ordered fish and chips and for $18.99 it certainly was not worth it. The fries served were like string fries hard and crispy with many bits and pieces and not hot.I like my food hot. The fish was just ok, tasted like it was sitting awhile.My grandson ordered the make your own chicken wraps he said that was ok but no flavor and would'nt order it again but wanted to try it.The waitress was very good and it appeared to be busy so I just didn't say anything about my order. read more

Every year, my friend and I share a luncheon to celebrate another year of her being CANCER-FREE. I try to find a new venue each year, so that we can enjoy the experience of new places. This restaurant has just now become my favorite spot over the past 9 years. Everyone we encountered was over the top pleasant and attentive; the host, the bartender, the waitress, and even a clean up crew. And the food was very good ~ and reasonably priced. The ambiance is rustic log cabin and appears clean. There was a large group of ladies nearby, chatting about their gardens. I read a review about the decor being "plain" ~ but personally, I'm not big on fluff. If it's clean and the food and service are good, I'm satisfied! My friend had the surf and turf which she very much enjoyed, but couldn't finish. I had fish and chips which was very good AND came with a house salad. We each had a frozen strawberry margarita, which were also VERY good! Thank you so much :) It was pretty crowded for a lunch spot in the middle of nowhere, which is always a good sign! Local patrons are a giveaway to the best spots! I would definitely come here again, and will keep it in mind for larger gatherings. read more

Cute little spot with great comfort food!! Went there on a Sunday for lunch and got prime rib, huge portion that was tender and flavorful and done just right! Eggplant parmigiana was excellent and also a huge portion!! Had layer of ricotta that added to the Flavor and texture. Meals came with sides of salad snd veg which were nice snd fresh. Only one server in the dining room snd she was friendly and efficient. Great comfort food at reasonable prices!! We will be back to try the other offerings! Well worth the trip for us. read more

Okay, I've been a customer of the Log Cabin for over 20 years and tonight is the final straw. They have gone so far down hill it's truly a shame because I came here with my grandparents and parents regularly and love to support local businesses. Unfortunately when they lie about Gluten Free options, or atleast severely misinform their waitstaff to the point different employees give you wildly different answers depending on the day, it makes those of us with serious dietary restrictions unable to eat the food. We ordered some (incredibly overpriced) wings, they made the wrong kind, we kindly corrected them and the Manager comes out and asks if [My Mother] who isnt even here, we're just picking up her order with ours, said the wrong item. My boyfriend corrected her, and instead of accepting fault said it was ours for not catching it when it was repeated, which it had been repeated correct. This is not the first time we've gotten nasty attitude from this person regarding her OWN mistakes. Also, their gluten free pizza is consistently under cooked. Bottom line: the food is alright, not worth the price any more. The wait is usually incredibly long, and the manager has a horrible attitude with no sense of accountability. It's unfortunate that after all this time I won't be giving them another dime because it's a business that holds fond memories for me. Update: We just got home and opened our remade correct variety wings and it seems they like to retaliate by messing with the food ordered! The replacement wings had less than half of the usual amount of seasoning on it, could barely taste the chipotle. Chipotle wings being a go to order of ours, allow us to really see the difference and the level of unprofessionalism. read more

We were in the area and their menu looked pretty decent so we decided to try it. The outside looks like it isn't much to write home about. In fact we almost left. Good thing we didn't. We ordered stuffed mushrooms for an app and they were a little garlicky but very good. My boyfriend had the full rack of ribs and they were fall off the bone. I had the blackened cajun chicken pasta. It was very good and not too spicy but full of flavor. But it was served in a Pho or noodle soup type bowl which I thought was weird. This place is on fire!!!! Great food across the board. It's an absolute blast to come here! My wife and I have been coming here for many years but hit a lull for about three years and did not come. About a 1/2 year ago we returned to a place that has gone beyond the scope of anything we would have expected. Food and service-EXCELLENT Atmosphere-EXCELLENT I just had my Saint Patty's Day Corned Beef Special and it was... Excellent. Great place to have nearby and the steaks are insanely good. As a cook myself I said Can't you just brown the hamburger in a pan before you put it on the calzone. Was told no. We took our 15 year old grandson on a road trip from RI through CT on Saturday. We didn't know where we would have lunch. I looked up the town we were in and found the only place to eat was Roberto's. We pulled up and saw a few cars. We figured it might be good. We were amazed how cozy the atmosphere was with the fireplace going and the Valentines Day decorations. The menu was huge!! We decided on sharing the Mediterranean salad which was big enough for the 3 of us. Delicious!! My grandson ordered the pierogies, and my husband and I shared the fried chicken sandwich on a Brioche roll with french fries. We were all delighted with the food and portion size. I'm updating my review and adding a star. My first review mentioned the loud, large, meeting-hall dining room and I factored that into my rating. It's a bit much. But it was only recently that we actually dug deeper into the Log Cabin. Seriously, how we missed the large bar scene here is beyond me. It changes everything. If you only go in the main entrance (as we always did), you only see the family dining room. A big, open, noisy hall reminiscent of the meeting hall at summer camp. Go to the bathrooms and you get a glimpse of a small bar which we always assumed was essentially a service bar, or a waiting area. Then, one night when the big noisy hall was filled with screaming families, and there was actually a wait for a table, we looked into the bar. Never been back to the dining room since, and will never sit there again. The tiny part of the Log Cabin bar you can see from the entrance way is apparently meant to fool people into not coming in. Once you pass the threshold, there is a large space with a long bar, lots of high-top tables, sports on multiple tvs, and now even a couple of new dart boards. It's a whole other world than the Log Cabin dining room. Since we "discovered" what lots of others have apparently already known, we've been more frequent visitors. The food part of my previous review still stands, but that food seems to taste just that much better in the much friendlier environment of the Log Cabin lounge. Plus one star. read more

My friends going away party, engagement party, and halloween party. The log cabin did a great job of keeping the guests happy and satisfied! The bar area is located on the bottom floor area.. Great food here and different beers on draft! I recommend the salads and pizzas. I have ordered many take out pizzas from here and have never been unsatisfied!
