This is by far my favorite place but between Cotijas and here, we end up here 5 out 5 times. The food quality is consistent and the fact that breakfast is offered all day is a huge plus when you are craving and egg, bean, cheese and bacon burrito during the day. They have 3 types of salsas available to give your food that extra kick. Staff is always friendly and drive thru always busy, but it does go quicker than starbucks drive thru for the most part. I have been to this location a few times I've ordered the roll tacos a few times and they've always been good. I have also ordered a Carne Asada quesadilla. The first time I didn't question it and today I drove to the drive-through and I requested Carne quesadilla and I asked what does it come with the picture in the drive-through clearly shows that the Carne Asada quesadilla comes with guacamole, pico and sour cream the lady at the window told me it doesn't come with sour cream like the picture. Is it OK? No that's fine. I received my food and not only is my quesadilla not cut. The portion looked okay at first, but once I started eating, I realized there was barely any meat on them. Most of it was just chips with a little cheese, and guacamole, here and there. This place is a hole in the wall taco shop. I went through the drive thru to get lunch. Plus side is that the drive thru is open 24 hours. In addition, the cashier was very nice and friendly. Great customer service! Unfortunately, the California Burrito I ordered wasn't that great and they got my order wrong. They forgot to add guacamole and my burrito was pretty small compared to other taco shops. I was pretty disappointed with my lunch. We ordered Carne asada fries and a Carne Asada Burrito with Horchata and Jamaica which I must say was really good. The Jamaica alone was refreshing and tasted like no other Jamaica I've had. The fries were really well loaded. Cheese, guacamole sauce, fries and carne asada ... you can't ask for better. The burrito was really good with the green salsa but alone had a lot of flavor. The chicken burrito was poorly made, with an overwhelming amount of tortilla and barely any chicken. Worse, I found a bone in my burrito, which is completely unacceptable for any restaurant. If something this basic isn't handled properly, I can only imagine what other food safety standards are being overlooked. It was quick. I got home I added lettuce and cut up a tomato and added some shredded cheese. Alrighty, I hate to be this guy. I've been going to Roberto's since I was 2 years old. But hot damn the service fell off. Out of the last 5 times I've been they probably got my order right 1 time. Don't even bother expecting them to give you your order just go for the surprise. If you're debating on your meal go there and they'll give you the mystery bag. This last time was the last straw, I asked for a simple California burrito with no pico, a bean and cheese with fries, and an order of carne asada fries. They spit out two bean n cheese with rice and got the carne asada fries right. Then I called, and home girl could give a rats a$$ about the mess up she kept repeating sorry with no expression like J. Dahmer. Hopefully this place changes otherwise they gotta go under with their bad service. If your gonna upscale all your prices how about you let that service follow.
