Finally checked this spot out I was in a rush to order so without looking at menu I asked for 3 quesabirria tacos They asked flour or corn so I ordered one of each The corn came with 2 tacos (which was more than enough for me) Flour was one large taco (really a quesadilla) Ate all the corn .. yum Are a few bites of flour (also yum) My colleagues order tacos and they had significantly more meat in theirs... It is very rare that you find a spot that is delicious and not very busy but when you do that is called a blessing this place has killer birria excellent queso Birria and great quesadillas and tacos. I went close to 9:00 PM so it was empty, but I walked in, got my food, and was satisfied with every single bite, I had such a great experience that I ordered food to go because I know I'll be hungry later and the price is right and the quality is excellent. The flavor is unmatched. I loved every single bite ate everything highly recommend I guess don't go when it's busy, but who knows when that is loved the spot will return for sure, the taco was excellent the quesadilla was perfect. The consommé was just the right amount and temperature. I can't see why people give this place such a bad review, but the ambience was clean and relaxed and there wasn't much of a pressure. I know there were bad reviews but my mom and I didn't experience those things. We received the condiments, radish, and limes. I did not see any flies in the place, it was clean. Look I understand everyone is tired of the pandemic and having to wear a face mask but there is a reason for wearing a mask. If you expect your customers to have on masks during the entirety of their visit then your employees should be expected to do the same and set the example for all the customers!! I usually go to another birrieria in town but this is much closer to my house. I decided to try 664 TJ Birrieria. The birriera was good, the salsa was excellent. The salsa took the birria to the next level. BUT the service was bad. It was bad enough where I'll drive further to get the birria from the original location I go to. I went in there, no one was there. There was a cook in the back, and no one at the register to take my order. I waited a few and finally the young girl came out of the restroom. She saw me standing there waiting to order. She didn't greet me, welcome me, or even acknowledge I was there. She finally went behind the register and said did you want to order? Ummm yeah! Took my order and told me to wait outside. I get it COVID, but to treat a paying customer as if they're doing you the favor, c mon. Then when she packed my food, it was messy. She was lazy putting on the wrapping tightly and properly so the liquid of the birria wouldn't spill. All the liquid of the birria spilled. She knew it to, bc she gave it to me and walked away.
