I happen to like Roberto's, first thing is they're dining room is open 24/7. Not like Don Tortaco's. Who only has there drive thru open 24/7. Second, they have great basic chicken tacos and taquitos. Third, they offer Pepsi Zero. That to me is a big plus. I mean, there's not alot that's made fresh anymore at these Mexican restaurants. At least nothing that reminds me of all the Spanish moms I had around me growing up. But at least I am not the one cooking, so there's that. I went to this ROBERTO's taco shop on 114 South Boulder Highway in Henderson, Nevada!! I use the drive-through and this employee named Christian Rivas tooked my order In d.through And he had an attitude i could tell, I was just keeping the cool place my order and left, I realized he did not gave me any napkins no Silverware, I went back and I told him and looks like he was mad no apologies or no anything!! This Customer Service service is terrible It is not acceptable.!! with so many options to choose from why should I come back for this kind of service? Tried Roberto's for the first time and was really impressed. I ordered the California burrito, and it was exactly what I was hoping for--crispy fries, well-seasoned carne asada, plenty of cheese, and a good portion overall. The service was probably my favorite part of the experience. I wasn't sure what to order, and the cashier was super friendly and took the time to explain some of the most popular menu items without making me feel rushed. The place itself was clean and had a nice, relaxed vibe. Great food, great service, and an overall enjoyable experience. I'll definitely be back to try some of the other burritos. read more

First time that I've pulled over to try this Roberto's right off the freeway at Horizon Drive and Horizon Ridge. The restaurant was extremely clean inside and everything looked fresh with a fully stocked salsa bar. The girl behind the counter was very friendly and food came out fast. Unfortunately the flavor just wasn't as big as I was hoping for. I can remember the days when the carne asada burrito was basically all carne asada it was huge with no filler. I went in on taco Wednesday to get the chicken tacos. I totally understand that they are hard shell, but they were extremely hard for being hardshell. Several times we have ordered delivery through Uber eats and requested extra salsa. This never happens but at least they give us a couple of each red and green. I do not like the red so this is never enough for me to enjoy my meal. This last order I received no salsa for three dinners I ordered. The green salsa is my favorite part. So let's start out with this place is expensive. They up charge you for everything but do not remove money when you ask for no guacamole (which is expensive). They don't make a chorizo burrito for breakfast but you can get one made for an added $2.20. Ridiculous in my book. You're a Mexican restaurant that has a chorizo burrito, but doesn't have a chorizo breakfast burrito. I am still scratching my head on that one. I wanted a chorizo breakfast burrito. I had to order a regular chorizo burrito, take out a bunch of items and then add eggs and potatoes just to get a chorizo burrito. I think this is tacky on the restaurant part to charge you extra. So ordering four burritos, I believe the price came out to $31 bucks. Very pricey for four breakfast burritos since the breakfast burritos run just under $6 bucks. As for the taste, I will say the burrito was good. The red sauce on the side had a nice flavor and the right amount of heat. The size of the burrito was also good. This place deserves a star more or maybe two but when you want to nickel and dime the customers, this dude doesn't play that. read more

I had another very disappointing experience today. I'm tired of ordering a bean and rice burrito only to find it filled mostly with beans and hardly any rice. Today, on May 11, 2024, the 2 of the staff who were in back cooking food seemed to find it amusing to first give me a burrito with beef, despite my beef allergy. This oversight could have led to a severe reaction. When I returned for a corrected burrito, they hastily prepared it, skimping on the rice. It felt like I was eating a bean burrito instead of the bean and rice burrito I ordered. While your bean and cheese burrito would have been generously filled with cheese throughout. In the past, there was only one other negative experience where rice was barely included in my order. I expect the same attention to detail with the rice as you would give to a cheese burrito. Consistency is key, and it's disheartening to have to repeatedly ask for what should be standard in a order. Yelped to see what we were going to eat for a late lunch. Found this place by luck. Walked in and was empty. Not sure if it was good or bad? Anyway the customer service experience was horrid and extremely annoying. Junior taking our order there but not there. Deer looking at lights. Never been here menu is huge so we asked questions and the kid looked up at the menu and just pointed at it when we asked him questions. Me and my wife just looked at each other and just about walked out. But we wanted to try the place out and as irritating and annoying as it was to deal with Junior (don't know his name) the young kid I realized he is inexperienced probably his first job. I think he is a robot. But still no excuse to not have customer service skills in a customer service job. As good as he is being on his phone behind the fountain drink station he should put that same effort in being good at his job. Now to the food . It was good. I would come back. This time we just happened to be driving past Roberto's 24 hr taco and Mexican food shop on Eastern near Seven Hills in Henderson when the words came out. Location: In the Smiths shopping center and visible from the street. Take out, delivery and dine in. Service: Walk up ordering area and no waiter service. Pleasant and helpful. There is no waiter service but lots of tables if you want to eat in. Food: I would describe this as 'large portion, filling, warm, and melted cheesy' take out style Mexican Food. Authentic for sure with consistent good quality and taste. Lots of taco choices but also lots of Mexican plates and combos and specials. I personally prefer less of an overloaded cheesy styrofoam container of food...but it is hard to complain. This is good food. I'm going with 4 Stars. You probably can't go wrong here when you are craving tacos or Mexican food. Vegan Vegetarian: No vegan items but I had Chili Rellenos and Cheese enchilada. So eggs and cheese type vegetarian. One could ask for the cook to make tacos without meat and go with beans instead but I did not try this. read more

We lived in Las Vegas for 30 years and left in 2015. One of our favorite places to eat during that period was Roberto's Taco Shops. We loved their Carne Asada Burrito. I recently retired and moved back to Henderson, NV. We were looking forward to visiting our favorite Vegas area eateries. Roberto's was on the Top of that list. We did and we were sorely disappointed with our Carne Asata Burritos. The Meat was fatty and stringy. One Burrito was huge and the other was tiny. We were shocked!! So disappointed. I love the NV "Mexican" food, the carrot bars and platters. But this food tasted like nothing. Spent $25 for food that left me wanting big time. I was a hungry and had time to kill before having to pick up my wife from a nearby beauty salon so I was drove around the area looking for place for a quick, lite lunch. I finally spotted this taco shop and ordered a pair of adobada tacos. I initially thought the price a bit high for "street" tacos, but discovered these were full size, loaded with marinated pork, salsa and guacamole. I might mention that the interior appeared to be exceptionally clean. This location is great if your traveling through or need something close to the highway. Careful of the step down when entering from front parking lot. It's marked with yellow stripe but can be sneaky. Recommend the machaca burrito and rolled tacos with or without guacamole. If you're a picky person and don't eat guacamole be sure to still get cheese on those rolled tacos. Gas station next door serves thrifty ice cream. read more
