The food was incredible... packed with flavor, fresh, and the seafood absolutely delivered... but what really stood out was how genuinely kind the owner was. You can tell when someone truly cares about their restaurant and the people coming in, and that energy makes a huge difference. The live mariachi gave the place such a fun, welcoming atmosphere, and our baby loved being there too, which made the night even better. It ended up feeling less like just grabbing dinner and more like being welcomed into a place with real heart. Long story short, the food was good and the ambiance was great. However the service from our service was absolute trash from our server, the only person who made the experience worth it was the guy in all black wearing a fedora (I never got his name unfortunately). Fedora man was the one who treated us great, took our drink order and never saw our server once until I asked a kind busser to call her over. After she took our order that was it, nothing. She acknowledged every other table plenty of times, but never stopped by us again. It's unfortunate, but the owner sent us shots and the fedora man really tired to make up for it the trash service we received from our server. My dad is a regular here, but I think this is the last time I'll stop by. read more

Best Henderson Mexican for drinks and food! The service is excellent and all the staff remember you and treat you like family. Went today with my girl and had Molcajete Mixta and we shared! Still could not eat it all but best ever! The place has both a bar and separate dining area. They always have sports playing and so one could say this is a Mexican Sports Bar too! Came to try their lunch special fish and chips but instead, order the regular portion for an additional $2.00 and worth it. I received four pieces of fish and a decent portion of cajun fries. I was able to eat two and got full. It came with 3 sauces without having to ask, which is nice. The place wasn't too busy for a Friday lunch and well kept and spacious. I recently saw a trending video on socials and stopped by to see what the hype was about. I absolutely love Chile relleno and have eaten plenty to know what I like and don't like. I wasn't a fan. The tomato sauce didn't do it for me. My meal came with two enchiladas and I ate one and it was just okay. The rice however is delicious. The mango margarita taste like ice and alcohol. No mango flavor at all and was leaking all down the glass and spilled on the table on delivery. The chips were stale and definitely prepackaged. There was also a long strand of hair in my salsa and that on top of the blah service and not so delicious food was enough for me. Of course I didn't finish the food and declined a box to go. Upon entering the restaurant the sign says wait to be seated and the young lady checking out the only other person in the restaurant didn't make eye contact and left the restaurant area after she helped the customer and went to the bar area which was empty. A friend recommended this place, and I'm so glad she did! It's definitely a bit of a hidden gem. Our server was great and very attentive. We started with drinks -- I ordered a mezcal spicy cucumber margarita and really enjoyed it. The cucumber flavor didn't overpower the mezcal, which I appreciated. For my meal, I ordered the Camarones "El Moy," and I absolutely loved it. The chipotle sauce was flavorful and garlicky. The portion size was pretty large for one person (especially after all the chips and salsa I ate!), so I even had leftovers to take home. The best place HANDS DOWN for birria, it's not on the menu, so you have to ask for it! Definitely worth a try! And the consume sauce is delicious with big chunks of beef throughout. Wow. We needed something quick for lunch & I was expecting to walk into a Roberto's type shop. Once you walk in you're greeted with a cool authentic Mexican restaurant with a pretty cool bar area. We had the Tacos al pastor, carnitas tacos & the carne asada burrito. Shout out to the cooks, beautifully done & delicious! I can't wait to come back and try more food here! I drive by this spot all the time, but I have never been in. We decided to give it a try because we were in the immediate area and didn't want to drive further away to our usual spot. Walking in, the place is decorated ok and the tables are very cozy. There is a lot more space in here than you would initially believe, which doesn't shock me because it was pretty busy in here for a Wednesday at 530pm. We were greeted right away but it took a minute for someone to come by to seat us. Once we were sat, it took a while for our order to be taken. However, this wasn't a huge issue. I could see that they were busy and honestly, I'd rather wait an extra minute and get great service than be rushed. Our server was so nice and friendly. We also had more than 1 other person touch our table to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. Great service!!! The food here is really, really good. The only issue I had was that the refried beans all have pork chorizo in them and my husband doesn't eat pork so his favorite dip was off the table for him. Luckily, his meal came with charro/Ranchero beans instead of the refried. Everything I ate had great flavor. There was no one to greet you but we didn't wait long for someone to seat us. Once seated our server came by to get us started, we ordered our drinks and she brought some chips and salsa. The salsa cup was so small you could barely get any salsa on the chip, but once you did it had decent flavor. Definitely could have been a bit more spicy and flavorful but overall not bad. Our food came out in a good amount of time and everything was hot and too order. The food tasted good and was cooked well. A few things to note, soda and regular drinks are a bit on the high side. A soda was almost 5 bucks and the state 1 refill only on the menu. The other minor thing was the CC fee, these are quite annoying and really your patrons shouldn't be paying your business fees. My friend and I shared the Molcajete de Mariscos (note: it doesn't come with rice or beans, but honestly, it was more than enough on its own!). Chilaquiles.divorced plater came with eggs, chilaquiles with both green and red sauce and a steak. Friend had the all seafood bowl that had shrimp, crab, octopus, and clams and had a nice spicy kick. It had a very dark appearance and, to me, tasted strongly of chicken bouillon. It just wasn't to my liking.
