From the start of the design project, they used high quality sub contractors for design, engineering, and all the trades in the house. Fernando, our project manager was incredible. He approached the project with a keen eye for details and took total ownership over the sub contractors. He would stop by almost every night to ensure that the subs were performing their work and not leaving or damaging any other contractors' work. Sarmad is a problem solver. He sees an issue and thinks through how to solve it, then presents clear options to choose from. Throughout the process, we were not surprised by unanticipated expenses - all changes were clearly explained and we had the option to make changes via clear change orders. EDR uses Buildertrend for all program management and billing, which made payments, change approvals, and scheduling tracking seamless. While this sounds like a basic requirement in 2026, not all contractors use these services which just adds friction to the process. We couldn't recommend EDR more for the quality of work on our house, the schedule execution, care for detail, and just taking care of our project. Along the way, we never felt nickel & dimed, and the value of their services definitely exceeded our expectations.

My Story: Hiring Bow's to install a large Milgard 4-panel…read moresliding glass door was a costly and frustrating mistake. My wife was nearly in tears because she could neither close nor lock the door! What was done wrong? This contractor installed the unit to the existing house framing without checking plumb (vertical alignment) - which changed significantly over the 12 foot span of the door. Milgard sent a service rep. Since vertical alignment was so different at the two ends of the unit, the rep could not fix problems. After two (2) follow-up discussions, Bow's showed no willingness to correct issues. Excuses, but no rework. Next, I hired someone else to remove the door and correctly reinstall it. The door now works great and looks much better! This person correctly installed interior trim pieces that Bow's thought were unneeded exterior pieces. Bottom Line: - If you want something done right in your own home, I suggest looking elsewhere. - If you want a great finished appearance, look elsewhere. - If you need a quick fix to flip a property, you might ask Bow's to bid.

We hired them in 2020 to complete our kitchen and family room remodel, and were very pleased with their whole process and especially the skilled people they have working for them. We decided to do the rest of our home, and were thrilled they were able to help us again. We expanded closets, moved a wall, took out an old chimney, redid the floors and lighting, put in 5 new windows, and had the interior and exterior repainted. From design to build, they were very professional and easy to work with. It feels like having a construction company in the family. They were respectful and knowledgeable, and every time something unexpected came up, they gave us good advice about what we needed to do and what was optional. Our designer Lisa was very patient with us, as we worked out all the details before construction began. Jason was great as our project manager, giving us good advice when we ran across termite damage and always making sure things were done to our satisfaction. Unfortunately a fire occurred in the kitchen area in the main unit (#1) of a four-plex I own,…read morehowever luckily no one was hurt. I searched through Buildzoom to find a contractor to repair the Unit. Buildzoom sent 4 contractors to visit the site and provide estimates. After the evaluation process, I selected Tony Tran Construction. He was the only contractor to send a detailed estimate which accurately included every item that needed to be replaced/repaired. He clearly put in his time and was serious about the bid. I appreciated Tony's humble demeanor and great knowledge about construction. The City building department required a shared firewall with an adjacent apartment (#2) to be updated Fire Rate Drywall Code. Tony drew the plan himself and got it approved of the City of Cupertino. They had to remove the existing 1/2" drywall between Unit # 1 and # 2 and replace them with 5/8" fire rated drywall. In that process, Tony had to remove Kitchen Cabinets and Countertop and demolish the bathtub/shower enclosure. When I just reminded Tony that we wanted to replace the Bathtub with Kohler Cast Iron tub one day and the very next morning Tony delivered the tub to the job site. The demolition was done very fast. I asked Tony to remove the Kitchen Cabinets and save them to re-use later. The Old tile countertop was demolished. Tony installed 5/8" plywood as the underlayment for the Quart Countertop and he didn't charge any extra. The new Quartz Countertop with full backsplash was installed with precision, I hardly can notice the joint lines. I asked him to install a sink setter, and it was done to my satisfaction. I was impressed with the workmanship on the wall tiles that he made in the bathroom. The tiles and grout lines were perfectly straight. Tony asked his workers to apply compound on the bathroom walls to make them smooth before painting. The entire apartment was done beautifully, and I thank Tony for his commitment, thoroughness and attention to the details. Furthermore, the best part was all inspections passed the very first time. I am very happy working with Tony. His team is extremely efficient and gets everything done quickly and perfectly. An honest and hard-working team like Tony is hard to find. Tony is a very responsive and accommodating contractor. He came with us to the Cabinet store when we picked out the Cabinets for the Kitchen. He took us to KZ Kitchen where we could buy the Countertops for the Kitchen and Bedrosian for the tiles in the bathroom and he passed his Contractor Discount for everything we bought which was a nice surprise for us. What separates Tony from other contractors is his dedication to making sure my wife and I are totally satisfied with his service. He asked his workers to pay attention to the details, and the outcome was better than we expected. He told us that he and his workers will continue working on our project without job hopping which was great since that helped finish the project sooner. Tony and his workers have been very professional and extremely skilled. Any issues that would come up would be fixed quickly with great results! Working with Tony has been a pleasant experience. He always answers our phone calls or texts promptly. He has a solution to any questions or anything we wanted. To make the new kitchen electrical requirement to the city code, Tony had to upgrade the old sub-panel to a bigger size and run Electrical wirings to the kitchen area. Our Family room was dark, and we asked Tony for his advice. Tony had to cut sheetrock to run the Electrical wirings to the family room. Tony installed 6 new LED recessed lights and replaced all ceiling lights in the kitchen area with new LED recessed lights with dimmers. Now, our Family room and kitchen are very bright when we turn on the lights. Our island was too close to the refrigerator. We asked Tony to move it out 4". He complied and replaced old tiles around the island without charging us any money. The downstairs bathrooms were remodeled with precision workmanship. Tony recommended to install 2 new Electrical outlets: 1 for the lighted mirror and 1 for the bidet if needed in future. He also recommended buying Lighted Mirror at Amazon, and we loved the new mirror. The tile work on the floor and the shower walls is methodically placed with even symmetrical spaces. My wife and I were extremely happy with the beautiful results. Our entertainment cabinets was old Oak frame. We asked Tony if it can be painted so it matches our new cabinet color and he made it happen! Now we have a beautiful kitchen and family room. My wife and I would highly recommend Tony Tran Construction for any home remodeling because you are guaranteed quality workmanship with supremely talented workers. In terms of services, they are like one stop shop that includes almost everything that we need from a contractor for remodeling so it really saved a lot of our time from talking with different people for different phases of the remodel. Their team has the architect who started with the floor plan with us, with a lot of back and forth discussions and our inputs taken into considerations. After we agreed and finalized the plan, they submitted it to the city for the permit. Since the architects and the construction team are under the same leadership of NuHome, in our case, Tony, this saves a lot of later potential integration problems between the architectural plans and the executions of the construction. During the construction, there were a few times that we changed our plans, for example, changing the size of the closet and pantry, Tony and the team were accommodating it; and in the middle of the construction, we were also changing the type and the number of outlets and the spot lights, Tony and the team were also incorporated that as well. We also had changed the plan for the TV ascent wall, and the team were fully in corporation and working with for the change, which turned out to be beautiful. Another area that really pleased and benefit us was NuHome has excellent interior designer who had worked with us closely in designing the bathrooms, and helping us picking up the right materials that worked perfectly for us, this saved us so much potential headache as we pretty much knew nothing in this field. The three bathroom designs turned out beautifully and exceeded our expectations. We would definitely attribute this to the team deep dedication of putting customers' need first, in addition to the construction team's skill set.
