We hired NuHome Remodeling for our house remodeling which started with addition and 3 bath room remodel, but ended up with pretty much full house remodel including the full kitchen remodeling as well. The project managers that we had worked with were Tony, Issac and Amit. The experiences that we had with the team were exceptional, Tony and his team leads were very professional, patient, attentive to details, and transparent to the cost. They were excellent in communications and never delay responding to our messages, usually within a few minutes or within hours for any questions that we ask at any time of the day. In terms of services, they are like one stop shop that includes almost everything that we need from a contractor for remodeling so it really saved a lot of our time from talking with different people for different phases of the remodel. Their team has the architect who started with the floor plan with us, with a lot of back and forth discussions and our inputs taken into considerations. After we agreed and finalized the plan, they submitted it to the city for the permit. Since the architects and the construction team are under the same leadership of NuHome, in our case, Tony, this saves a lot of later potential integration problems between the architectural plans and the executions of the construction. During the construction, there were a few times that we changed our plans, for example, changing the size of the closet and pantry, Tony and the team were accommodating it; and in the middle of the construction, we were also changing the type and the number of outlets and the spot lights, Tony and the team were also incorporated that as well. We also had changed the plan for the TV ascent wall, and the team were fully in corporation and working with for the change, which turned out to be beautiful. Another area that really pleased and benefit us was NuHome has excellent interior designer who had worked with us closely in designing the bathrooms, and helping us picking up the right materials that worked perfectly for us, this saved us so much potential headache as we pretty much knew nothing in this field. The three bathroom designs turned out beautifully and exceeded our expectations. We would definitely attribute this to the team deep dedication of putting customers' need first, in addition to the construction team's skill set. We hired Tony, from NuHome Remodeling to renovate our home and we had a fantastic experience! We opened up our kitchen and living room, vaulted the ceilings, added a new bathroom, upgraded two existing bathrooms, and moved our garage entrance into our home. We also replaced hardwood floors, upgraded our knob and tube wiring, and added attic space in our garage. We couldn't be happier with the transformation of our home and some days I still can't believe how well it turned out. From our first meeting with Tony, we found him to be down to earth, straightforward and honest. His contract was very detailed about the work to be done, and we knew exactly what we had to pay for and when. We loved that NuHome offered designer services (included in the price). Our designer, Bar, was great to work with. She understood our taste after our first meeting and made the daunting process of choosing finished materials from counters, cabinets, tiles and fixtures smooth and stress free. She had relationships with vendors to help expedite the process and resolve issues for us along the way. The renderings helped us really visualize our materials in the intended spaces and the results were almost exact. She made suggestions that we normally wouldn't have selected (e.g., herringbone floor, or color matching in the bathrooms) but the end results are absolutely stunning and we are so glad we trusted her design expertise. Our project came in roughly on-time and on-contract cost. There were no delays in getting the crew on site. Communication with Tony and our manager, Amit, was fluid, easy and open. We found them responsive and open to meeting us or talking over the phone. When he had an unfortunate family emergency, his partner, Guy, stepped in and there was no delay in our project. Tony and his crew were creative in coming up with solutions when we ran into a few minor hiccups. He listened to what was important to us and worked with his team to find creative solutions that met or exceeded our expectations. The outcome of some of the solutions was better than our initial plan. For example, we initially had three small windows above our kitchen cabinets but when that wasn't possible due to the structure for the support beam for our vaulted ceiling, we went with one big window and it's far better than three would have ever been. We were looking for maximum light and this accomplished it! It's one of our favorite features of our new kitchen. Tony also facilitated adjustments to cabinets, for example, with our vendor as well as handled all permitting needs/requirements and inspections with the city so we wouldn't have to. Tony also had a great work crew. Jose and his team were always on time (or early), respectful of our home and neighbors. They were the happiest workers we've come across and they paid attention to ensuring even the finishing details, from the height of pendant lights to caulking everywhere, were perfect and to our satisfaction. I thought quite a bit about whether I would even write and post this review because I do not like to give a review if it cannot be a good one. However, this has been some time coming since NuHome Remodeling completed bathroom remodel at my home a little over year ago. I give this business full marks for courtesy and craftsmanship in appearance of things that can be seen like tilework. When it comes to things not readily seen, understood, or known to the layperson homeowner, bets are off, in my experience. It took me going to the City's building department, numerous messages back and forth with the owner of the company and hours of research of my own to get it to a point where the shower pan was installed and properly waterproofed to code after the tiles that were laid down first needed to be pulled out because of just random work by one of the crew. This is not an approach that makes for build to last work that is a problem for the homeowner even if not for the business beyond the one-year warranty period. One should be able to expect better from a licensed contractor who is not just that but also diamond certified, and for that I take off some stars. Changing the review to a three star from a one star, upon request by the owner, in consideration of the quality of the exterior work. read more

Our experience with Nuhome was great. My wife and I just bought our first home, and initially we purchased the services of other companies after multiple improvements from the yard to the cabinets and floors. We hired NuHome Remodeling right after we bought our home. We wanted to go get the floors redone and remodel our kitchen. Tony was our main contact and he was a pleasure to work with, always courteous, responsive and addressing any concerns/questions we had through the process. After researching multiple contractors and having to put the job off for over a year I ended up going with NuHome. Tony was our project manager from the beginning and he gave me confidence in nuhome's ability to do the project well. During the course of construction the workers who were on site were extremely professional and were on the job site early each morning and insured the job site was clean when they left each day.  The workers were very diligent with their work and you can tell they took pride in their task. Although the job was pretty big every person on the job treated it as if they were doing work on their own home. Tony was great through the entire process.  He insured we were aware of who was going to be onsite each day, and let us know immediately if there were any changes to the schedule. Hello. I worked with Tony and Bar on a significant kitchen remodel. Fomr the start Tony was very straighforward and honest and he told us what to watch out for when hiring a contractor. My thinking was simply that if you hire the right team, you will get a great result and if you hire badly, you will have problems. Well, NuHome was right for us and our kitchen project, I am sitting in our beautiful newly remodeled kitchen and we are thrilled. They provide and end to end service including design (Bar helped us with that ) and computer rendering. The result looks just like the computer rendering. This process is very helpful as it creates a common vision across every person working on the job and everyone knows what the end result should look like. The implementation team was experienced and execution was flawless. Workers showed up on time and worked hard, they were very respectful of our home and privacy. The installation team, electrician, plumber, fabricator, everyone worked to spec and with high quality. Of course there were changes, some initiated on our side. We wanted a new window put in place. Some of the design challenges necessitated for example removing a fireplace. In addition we ran into some issues with the electrical panel and foundation that were unforeseen. Tony was the project manager for our outdoor backyard makeover. We were referred from Yardzen. The whole process was very smooth. Tony used the rough measurements and 3D renderings from Yardzen to implement everything in the design, and it came out just like we imagined. Work included: excavating and building outdoor stairs into a steep hillside, fabricating a modern metal staircase, building a Timbertech deck, pouring concrete for a patio area and pavers, custom pergola. We worked with Nuhome Remodeling to convert our dining room and part of our living room into an Jr. Master Bedroom downstairs. This included the construction of a full bath and full bedroom. We were very fortunate to work with Tony Paz, directly, from day one. With Tony and Nuhome we planned our desired Jr. Master Bedroom and constructed the room. A major reason for selecting Nuhome was the professionalism and commitment to cost and schedule from day one. During the entire process were also pleasantly surprised with the consistent team that showed up. Day in day out any of the team members that performed their work, were on time and very professional. A fantastic crew that gave us confidence from the day they broke ground. Huge confidence boost on our part. Like any major construction project, we ran into a few issues. Some of these issues included framing, lighting, windows, and painting. We met Guy and NuHome through a friend that recommended them, he used them 2 years ago for his addition and he had only great things to say about them so we gave it a shot. I can say that after the first meeting I could understand why. Our project had 2 major items :kitchen and bathroom and some flooring, molding, paint and some light fixtures. From the beginning, Guy and his team were great, extremely patient and accommodating. They made the process feel seamless. The designs were amazing, they were able to pick up exactly what we had in mind and they had the right vendor/store for all of it. I especially liked how they timed everything, the pandemic made it hard to get material and permits in normal time but they knew how to handle it. In my 80 years plus of life experiences, I have never been completely satisfied as I have from day 1 in choosing a contractor. My plan was to have two more estimates for my backyard Gazebo and deck. After my initial appointment with Shahar, I felt so confident that it was not necessary. Shahar has been incredibly informative and helpful in my decision making every step of the way. He is a person with much ability and compassion and put in over 120% of himself on my project. Everything was done on schedule and very quickly. I feel so lucky to have chosen Nu-Home remodeling for our bathroom remodel.
