Technician came and informed than major repair or replacement of unit was necessary. Technician did not attempt to reset the unit by unpuging or resetting cicuit breaker. Technician recommended they agree to the major repair / replacement for $1,500 which they initially agreed to Error code on the unit was F281. For error code F281, Jennair recommends on their website simply resetting the unit by unplugging or resetting circuit breaker. A day after the service visit, this is what I did and the unit has been working perfectly since We called you at this time and cancelled the order for the replacement unit that would have been $1,500. Technician charged $200 in cash for the initial service call. We called your customer service number and spoke to Dalia (Dalia would not provide a last name) who incorrectly told us an F281 error code required a whole new control board replacement or full unit replacement. I followed up with her to make sure she knew this was not consistent with the information on the manufacturer's website. I ansked her for a refund of our $200 based on the facts provided Dalia told me she would get back to me with a day. It has been 6 days.

Shortly afterward, the same hose became disconnected again and the washer started leaking water. Now I'm being told that I need to pay another $215 for a connector and installation to prevent the hose from disconnecting again. If the technician already knew during the first visit that a connector was needed to properly and permanently fix the problem, why wasn't I given the option to have it installed then as part of a complete repair? Instead, I paid $170 for a temporary fix, was told it had a warranty, and now I'm being asked to pay even more for a second visit. I would have much preferred an honest, upfront price for a complete repair from the beginning rather than paying twice for the same underlying issue.
