She was having a really bad day and apologized profusely. I really respect people that can be introspective and apologize for their mistakes. Been here twice now and both times had long wait times. The appointment took over two hours. The first time I went there was last year and they lost my contact lens order. Gave them a second chance this year and now not even confident about my prescription being the correct one. read more

Robertson optometry is such a wonderful Dr. office / store from the time that you're greeted from the personable receptionist , I feel so cared for when I have my eyes examined from Dr. Yang and her assistant Emily ! Dr. Yang was great. She consulted with me regarding my exam results, which were administered by her capable assistant. Since I had provided all my "new patient" documents in advance my appointment, I was in and out within 30 minutes, and that included selecting new eye glasses. The receptionists are very unprofessional. They have an attitude and get bothered when you ask for information. They had the male receptionist do my eye exam, which was awful. The doctor just takes you in and rushes you out , besides the time you wait in the waiting room if you even call that a waiting room (horrible). Dr. Yang first disregards what I had to say about my eye exam and she only wanted to get her point across once I told her that I had a complaint. Since Dr. Kumer sold his practice the quality of service has went down. I do not recommend this business. read more

I am a regular at Robertson optometry. I always get great service and the pricing is always fair and reasonable. Last time, Dr. Yang worked with me to understand my insurance a bit better and was able to help me get the most value out of my insurance plan. I usually get just contacts but this time, I was also able to get a pair of glasses. The glasses came out great, better than the pair I got from China. Dr. Kristina and her team are incredible! I have a very complicated case with my vision and she & the staff was so patient with me, making sure to get the best prescription possible for contacts and glasses. Upon the eye exam she discovered a very small retina tear in my left eye and stayed an hour past closing, to confirm it. So thankful for her catching it!! She's an angel literally saved my eyesight! I went to this place. I work in the healthcare field and was greatly disappointed. My exam was rushed so much that I walked away feeling no confidence in the final product. The dr final product was something I couldn't see out of. My vision went from 20/20 to 20/30 in 90 days according to this doctor. I have to remove my glasses just to see clearly. She was extremely robotic and seemed to not be there mentally. I've worn glasses for over 50 years and this is the first time I had to request a do over. Sitting in the 3 chair waiting room, a call came in and the patient was asking to have a do over on their exam and the receptionist verbalized this and approved a do over. The dr asked me which was better between bad and worst. The only good part was the frames I paid $400 for. Short of calling the doctor a fraud, I am more than dissatisfied. This has been hands down the worst experience with an optometrist that I've ever had. Not only will I never return to them, short of trying to get my rx correct. This was a complete joke. Do not waste your time, meter fee, or insurance with this place. What a joke !!!! read more

Ordering frames and lenses is a whole new experience for me since this is the first time I've ever wanted something to help ease the strain on my eyes while I stare at a computer screen all day. The whole team at Robertson Optometry is amazing. From the moment I walked in, to when I left, I felt that I was treated very well and was able to get all my questions addressed. Emily, Esther, and Shoomyla were all very pleasant to work with. I felt very safe in the store as they have Covid measures in place that require everyone to wear a mask. Also if you try on or touch frames, they disinfect them before putting them back on display for others to try. They do take a number of insurances and made the payment process very easy. I spent a good amount of time there trying to find the right frames. I did not feel rushed at, but felt bad for trying so many different frames - they have a lot of choices to select from! I'm a big fan of Robertson Optometry because it's a GREAT little one-stop-shop for all my eye care needs , from excellent professional staff and selection of glass frames to top notch equipment . for instance : you no longer have to have your eyes dialated as they have a state of the art machine that takes an instant photo of the retina ( back of the eyeball ) . the digital image is posted immediately so you and Dr Yang can review " what's going on . " And the best part for me is : I can walk to this friendly neighborhood shop because it's almost "on the street where I live . " read more

I don't drive (I couldn't pass the DMV vision test), so have gone to optometrists in my neighborhood who accept my insurance, and for this exam selected Robertson Optometry. A convenient time was available within the week, and it was a five-star experience. The only missing star comes from an experience probably unique to me, never to be repeated. I phoned the office to confirm the appointment. As I walked out the door, my home phone rang. The doctor had to leave. My appointment was cancelled, and needed to be rescheduled. I appreciated being called, since it's a relatively long walk for me. I expected them to extend office hours during the following two days, but they didn't. They did contact me when an appointment for the same day became available at an earlier time, and I took it. When I got there at the appointed time, I was ushered in at once, selected frames, and was assisted to the exam room with no wait. From then on, everything proceeded smoothly. I need a lot of help, and was provided it graciously, without being rushed. I rate the staff, doctor, and exam with five stars with one omitted because of not being rescheduled to my convenience. I think that when they have to push back an appointment, they should extend the office hours the following day(s) to provide greater flexibility to the patients. If my objection seems unreasonable to you, please ignore it and add the star. I'll pick up my glasses when they're ready - I'm not yet rating how they work for me. The office - staff, equipment - are five stars, as is the optometrist. You'll get great service. I hope that when the glasses arrive, they will be five-star perfect. read more

I've never been to an optometry before, nor have I ever gotten my eyes checked but Dr. Yang and her staff definitely made me feel reassured and comfortable while I was there. I got to use so many cool, new machines while providing Dr. Yang and/or Emily would provide me with a detailed explanation about my results after each test. The team has ease my mind by following CDC guidelines during COVID. There are hand sanitizers on most desks, masks are required, they immediately will disinfect the glasses if you try them on and every machine after each use! Very progressional staff! isited the Robertson's Optometry on 05/18/22. Worst experience! First of all, there is literally noone at the front desk, at the moment of my arrival, waited 20 minutes to be helped. 2. The comprehensive eye exam was way too fast (15 minutes), Dr. Yang truly does not care for the patients, just tries to let them go as quickly as possible, not even bothering to provide the testings herself - all of the tests were provided by the assistant. However, the guy that helped me was very nice - the only caring employee there. Overall, I spent 5 minutes with the doctor, all she did was to let me follow the pen with the eyes she was dragging from one side to another. 3. Paid extra to get the retinal images, since I was diagnosed with the retinal detachment 4 years ago. Dr. Yang was annoyed by the every question I've asked and didn't bother to explain anything stating "no, everything is fine with you". 4. At the minute I realized that this is not the verdict I trust I went ahead and asked Lesley (front desk employee) to send me all of the images the doctor took, so I will be able to address this to the more qualified Ophthalmologist. 5. As of today, I already called in 5 times and still can not get anyone from the Robertsons Optometry to send me the images I've paid extra for. This clinic definitely does not worth $80 for the services they provide, the Doctor is annoyed by everything you ask with 0 care for the patients. Now figured why they do groupon sales, because that's definitely not a clinic anyone would return at. read more

Dr. Yang rushed my eye exam and now my new prescription isn't accurate. The sight in my left eye is much blurrier than the sight in my right and it's making me nauseous.
