My 30-year-old car has 273K miles of wear and tear on any original parts, so the job turned out to be more than simply replacing the pads. The quoted estimate was $1500 for the pads, brake calipers, drums, brake rotors, hardware kits, fluid, and labor. I had seen my car on a lift before taking it to Advantage Auto, and after inspecting the wheels, I knew the brake job was going to be involved (which is part of the reason I didn't want to do it myself). Jason loaned me a car for the day, which I greatly appreciated. AA worked from 9:00 till around 5:30 (they had delays in receiving parts from across town), and got me out of there the same day. My final price of $1300 was lower than the estimated $1500, as they didn't charge me for all the replacement parts. The brakes have been working as needed over the last month. Was it a lot of money? Yes. Did I get what I paid for? Yes. Would I go back? Yes.

Ok so I took my truck in for a coolant flush and diagnostics and told them it was going to need stand pipes and dummy plugs minimum.Few days later they said ok I need oil cooler that will fix it I said great I PAID THEM ALMOST 7000.00!Then go to pick up my truck it still won't start hot turns out it needs stand pipes and dummy plugs which if you remember itold them it needed when I took it in to them.Since I already paid them to change an oil cooler wich by the way they charged me as much as a complete rebuild at any other shop I was against taking my truck back into them I forgot to mention this is my dailey driver I drove the truck to their shop.Manager calls me since I left terrible google review says he don't want like the truck leaving unfixed made me think awesome maybe this place is ok after all.Boy was I wrong I drove my truck into their shop few days later I'm told truck is done go to pick it up which is understatement.Hopped in my truck tried to drive it barely made it to their shop few street terrible grinding actually made it to parking lot straight across the street I'd say what maybe twenty feet wheel bearing completely gone!Get out to see what's wrong jump out look at my truck and every bit of my coolant is pouring out of my engine compartment!They say they did nothing wrong apparently it's normal to take a truck to a shop drive it there mind you I always thought you would pay 7000.00 pretty good chance you'd get to drive the vehicle home I had to have my truck towed home from their shop had to have the repairs made that the shop did to my vehicle they completely say that they did nothing wrong.So if anyone actually reads reviews make your own decision but make sure you read the bad reviews I will from now on believe that...If this review saves one person from falling victim to this repair shop it was worth it..I pray no other person ever gets ripped off by this place again.Pick a different place any place.Thanks for reading and good luck on your shop search this place isn't what anyone is looking for in a repair facility.......I wish they had negative stars this place deserves --7000

They did the routine oil & filter change took about 2 hours but about 30 minutes was the lug nut issues. They did break a clip for my air filter that's why I have a lower star rating but the vehicle is a 2013 model so that should be in consideration as well.

I have been going to Greg's for about 15 years but will never go back and everyone that I once…read morereferred there have all had horrible experiences. They used to be great, the staff in the office was great, Cody and Greg were great, and the repairs were good. The past 2 years however, the place has gone downhill horribly. The office staff is now rude and openly lies to customers (see below) while the repairs have not been done to any kind of standard. They no longer stand by their work. Here are some highlights of the past 2 years: 1) Took my daughters car in and was told it would be done the next day when a part came in. 2 days passed and we called to inquire was told the part would be in the next day. 2 more days pass and we called to be told the part would be in that day and the car repaired, but it wasn't. The next day we were told the part they received was wrong and so they had to wait for a new part. The office staff lied to us repeatedly over a period of 5 days. 2) Took my sisters car in for new shocks. 13 months, and just 8K miles later, the shocks were totally bad. They said "too bad" the warranty is expired and wanted the same amount to replace the shocks. She is 70 years old and only drives to the store and doctor appointments. Shocks should last 50K miles at least. 3) Took my son's car in for a gas purge valve replacement. Paid over $1000 and within 2 months the valve no longer worked. My son was so angry at Greg's that he didn't tell me until many months later. I called Greg's and once again was told "too bad". It is unfortunate that they are such a lousy place now with no integrity when they were once a really good place. I no longer recommend Greg's auto to anyone for any service.

They called me first thing on Monday and gave me a quote within a couple of hours. This was the only place other than dealers that I could find that replaces sunroofs. I agreed to the terms and downpayment. Chris was very good at communicating updates. It took several weeks to receive the new glass after the initial one was received broken and having to re-order it. Chris came to my home, was meticulous in vacuuming the broken glass out of car & track. He replaced and tested new glass. He did a great job, was very professional and is a very nice man who takes pride in doing a good job! I highly recommend his company!

I would not recommend Christian Brothers Automotive. In 2021, I paid $2,500 to have my entire AC…read moreunit replaced. They gave me a 36,000-mile or 3-year warranty--which I hit right on time since I drive about 20,000 miles a year for work. My AC went out in October 2024, just a few months after the warranty expired in June. When I brought it back in, they told me the warranty was up and quoted me $1,500 to fix the same system they had already replaced just three years earlier. The guys up front were nice, but honestly, it felt fake. I left feeling like they were trying to take advantage of me because I'm a woman. When I took my car somewhere else, that mechanic suggested I call Christian Brothers back to see if any of the parts were under warranty, since many AC parts typically come with a lifetime guarantee. But Christian Brothers told me none of the parts were covered because they buy from a wholesaler that doesn't offer those kinds of warranties. The bottom line: they charge premium prices, the work doesn't last, and they don't stand behind what they sell. I won't be going back.
