Mandatory 20% gratuity for parties of 8 or more, this is unreal.

Mandatory gratuity is unacceptable, will you guarantee service worthy of this charge? Smaller portions and higher prices, this is how you fight inflation, at the full cost of your guests. Service is not good. Not returning, nor should you. BTW...pay with a credit card and they add a $1 service charge. This place won't stay in business much longer.

Robintino's is a childhood favorite. The food is spectacular, and they have the best breadsticks in town. The service is awesome! We had a server who was working by herself because her coworker called in sick, and she was fast, attentive, and upbeat! The ambiance is causal, and they can accommodate a party of any size.

I drive by this place at least once a week and finally decided to stop in today for the first time. The place wasn't busy at all and we were seated promptly. The server also came over right away and got our drink order. He came back a bit later for our food order and I had to remind him of our drinks too. He fumbled a bit over our food order and eventually had to be reminded of a salad we had ordered. We also had to wait quite a bit to cash out and get our to go boxes. Short story long, service was a 3. Mostly ran by younger folks as far as I could tell. The food was hot and delicious. The garlic bread was gone before I could get a pic! The ranch was great, homemade tasting (not the vinegary kind)! The lasagna was fantastic and the spaghetti and ravioli was great! Food was a 4! I'll return in hopes of better service next time.

My brown potato

Took 2 hours to get dinner. Couldn't eat potato it was brown inside. Service was terrible never cleared our salad plates.

Can I not give one star. The worst mediocre Italian place I've ever had. The garlic bread not fully toasted, pretty sure it's regular toast with butter and garlic. The pizza omg, special sauce ( is it from a can special), not fully cooked pizza. Everything just thrown on. No flavor. Please guys don't waste your time. Luckily we had a nice waitress, but after voicing my concern, we didn't even have a manager see why we didn't like it. Paid the full price plus 30% tip because not the servers fault the food was disastrous. Tip: just don't go

This is still one of our top places to eat in Utah! This is one of our go to menu items, garlic three cheese pizza.

It was very basic Italian. Good waitstaff. Not a destination but not bad to pop in if you're in the area.

The lobster bisque was my next selection, and damn. Like this meal is the best post sex meal everyone should have. Freaking ridiculous. Finally we ended on crème brûlée and they nailed it. I make good ones, and theirs was better. Insanely good, nice caramelization on top and the crème was great. The service was top notch, attentive, and kind. Lilen, probably got this name wrong, she was awesome. The place itself had a great vibe, nice outdoor lighting. I highly recommend this place yal. Enjoy

There were two options and we chose the one with shrimp on romaine, burrata caprese, and melon with prosciutto. Then we shared the pasta sampler (which has a much cooler name that I can't recall because I don't speak Italian!). I was never a big fan of gnocchi but it was fantastic, served in a spicier tomato-based sauce. There was a spectacular butternut squash ravioli, spinach ravioli, and a spaghetti with an indescribably delicious cream sauce. Overall, that dish is NOT to be missed. We also had a special entree of beef tenderloin with mushrooms, shaved potatoes, and an oxtail sauce. We shared it because OMG food coma, which was a great call. We finished with the tiramisu *swoon* and the lemon gelato with lemon juice, local Utah honey, and sea salt sprinkles. I'm not a big lemon dessert fan and I wouldn't have normally ordered it (I had the tiramisu). The lemon gelato with honey had such a pleasantly unusual texture. The honey had the mouth feel of stringy cheese but the flavor of spring. The gelato was delicate and soft and the salt just amplified the experience. Zachary was our server. He's funny, extremely knowledgeable, and served each dish with an unforgettable flourish. I'm sure mine is just one more voice extolling the fabulousness of this restaurant, but it was a pleasure. In my work, I get to eat in many amazing restaurants. It sounds bold, but I think this was one of the best meals I've ever had. Excellent choice!

Sadly it ended up being a terrible experience. Our waiter was curt and rude, distracted, condescending and kept disappearing on us for long periods of time. It just ruined the whole evening for us. I had hyped up the spot based on the recommendation and was embarrassed about the experience. The food was tainted by the service and I thought was too rich and oily. I did mention the bad service to the manager and they removed the mandatory gratuity given the larger party. It has been a few days since I was there and I am still miffed about how long we drove there and the horrible experience.

The inside of the restaurant is well appointed and I think fitting for the cuisine. Not overly decorated but nice vibe for a casual dinner. Food wise I would recommend the spicy Shrimp Scampi - the pasta was said to be house made and it showed. Great chew and a nice compliment to the spicy fresh scampi sauce. Only complaint would be leaving the tails on shrimp - basically have to deconstruct the dish to get them off. This is very common though so not a huge deal. I liked that the entrees come with a house salad to feel like a solid meal. The smokey pineapple cocktail was a little sweet for me but liked that there were some interesting options. Our sever Ayden did a great job with the larger group and had drinks and water well topped off. Overall I enjoyed Caffe Molise and if I'm back in SLC I would go here again.

The bar staff were quick to serve us, knowledgeable about their products, and made excellent cocktails. We were seated on the balcony, which had a wonderful ambiance. The garden setting was beautiful, the décor was tasteful, and the seating was comfortable. The serving staff were attentive throughout the meal. They were knowledgeable about the specials, offered appetizer suggestions, promptly cleared empty plates, and ensured all of our needs were met. Unfortunately, the food is where the experience dropped from a 5-star service rating to a 3-star overall rating. The fish was overwhelmed by a heavy tomato sauce that masked the flavor of the fish itself. The gnocchi was overcooked and swimming in sauce, resulting in a disappointing entrée. While the atmosphere and service were exceptional, the quality and execution of the food did not match the high standards set by the rest of the experience.

For…read morewhatever reason, SLC has a ton of Italian restaurants, so finding one was a little overwhelming, but ultimately I settled on Lupessa. One of my requirements was cocktails, and those looked pretty good from what I saw on Yelp. The menu was intriguing as well. I knew I wanted to try the tuna tartare for sure. I made a reservation for us for 18:30 and we were greeted with a smile and quickly seated. The ambiance was beautiful. I loved the giant tree in the middle of the dining room, and the seats were so chic and comfy. There is a parking garage, so no need to worry about parking either. Our server promptly greeted us and we placed our order for our cocktails and the tuna tartare app. I went with the Truth or Pear (I'm a sucker for anything pear related) and my husband went with the Mezcal old fashioned. Both arrived to our table shortly before the complimentary bread did. That bread was oh so warm and fluffy, and came with the most delightful herb oil to dip in. The cocktails were good, smooth and well-balanced. The tuna tartare was next to arrive, and it was plated wonderfully. I was very excited to dig in. The bread was toasted to perfection, and the tuna was seasoned with the most delightful citrus notes, just as stated in the menu. It was a perfect combination of flavors, and my favorite dish of the evening. The portion was also generous in my opinion, and we definitely savored each bite. As far as our entrees, we both wanted pasta, and the bison rigatoni caught my eye immediately. The spicy rigatoni spoke to my husband as well, so that's what we both ended up ordering. The pasta was quite decadent, especially mine with the ricotta. We noticed a lot of people packing up leftovers, and quite frankly, if we weren't so hungry, we probably would have had leftovers as well. While the sauce was overall good, it was a little monotone. The rigatoni was also a little overcooked. I honestly expected more, especially coming from CA, where I am no stranger to quality pasta dishes hailing from restaurants in Carmel, Half Moon Bay, and similar towns. We left with our bellies full, and the service was great, but I wished our pasta dishes were better, especially for what we paid (which was comparable to what I've paid in CA, mind you). The tuna tartare was most definitely the highlight of our meal. The next time we're in SLC, I'd come back for the tuna tartare, but it looks like I'll need to do a more thorough search for restaurants that serve better pasta.

Our server was quick to apologize, had a fresh entrée prepared right away, and even comped the meal, which was greatly appreciated. The replacement dish came out hot and was much better. I also enjoyed a glass of red wine that paired nicely with dinner, and the complimentary bread was absolutely delightful--fresh, warm, and a great way to start the meal. One of my favorite touches was the beautiful cherry blossom tree in the center of the restaurant. It creates such a unique and inviting atmosphere and really adds to the overall dining experience. While there was a small hiccup with the food temperature, the excellent service and attention to making things right turned it into a positive experience. I would definitely return.

Everything comes out fairly quick for all being house-made from scratch. The meals are flavorful and great. There isn't anything on this menu that stands out, everything seems pretty standard for a nice Italian place. Our bread and salad starter were great and we cleared those quick ! I chose the chicken parmigiana and found the marinara sauce to be a bit watery/bland in taste. My chicken was a bit dry so perhaps a bit overcooked. The alfredo that came with it was DELICIOUS, perfectly creamy. However...can I justify $30 for the plate ? No. My boyfriend's spicy sausage a la vodka pasta was delicious but again, the red sauce was lack luster for me. It's almost like it was lacking tomato paste and garlic ? The potato side was delicious and surprisingly large for the price ! The aioli that came with it was great in flavor as well. We finished our meal with a creme brulee. It was perfectly torched and the creme itself was delicious and perfectly chilled. The strawberry was a bit sour for my liking, especially for coming with an expensive dessert. But this dessert was one of my highlights of the meal. Although a nice once-off meal, I find Bartolo's to be pretty overpriced, even for delicious italian dishes.
