    The Röbller tasting room

We have been coming to Röbller for years and they just keep getting better and better. The environment is lovely overlooking their acres of vines, Jerry provides a great experience on winemaking in tradition and with great love. It is both an experience for the palate and an education in fine wIt is our favorite place to visit each year on our couple's trip.

Cute vineyard on your way to or from Hermann. I really enjoyed our visit here and even got to chat with the owner for a little bit. His staff, who was alone during our visit, was very welcoming and friendly. As far as Missouri wines, I'm not a huge fan but courteous behavior and great services are always appreciated and that's what I got here, along with a couple bottles of wine! It's tough for me to like all the sweet and white varieties but I was able to find a red, dry and full-bodied one to take home (Norton). Well, as full-bodied as it can get in Missouri, I suppose but nice and oaky. I also picked up a white, surprisingly, because it smelled so much of lychee. It's semi-dry which might still be too sweet for me anyway. I did the tasting, we walked around a bit and saw the room you could rent for a party, etc. They have a lot of tables outside for those beautiful summer days to enjoy your wine with and a lovely view! It's definitely a nice winery to visit.

Beautiful property, great wine, plenty of room for social distancing!

It was so nice to get out of the city and enjoy the wide open space here. I know many places outside of STL County aren't necessarily taking as many precautions as they could (should), but this place was an exception. Tables were spaced out and staff had on masks. Their indoor tasting room was closed, which was just fine for us since we are not ready to be indoors just yet. The wine was REALLY good. It was nice to get away from the sweet wines that you normally find at a Midwest winery.

Now on our second visit. The covered patio is a great place to enjoy a bottle with your favorite people and have a view of the vineyard. Music is kept low so that normal conversations can be had. Looking forward to visit number 3!

Lovely views and memorable outings. Well worth the trip from Hermann!

We are so glad we took the 20+ road trip from Hermann to Robller. Jerry was very welcoming and accommodating. The wine had character and delighted us with a range of colors, scents and flavors as we tool in the spectacular landscape.

    The Norton is fabulous.

The Norton was really great! Easy to find, right off Hwy 100. You can sample for free. Family atmosphere, live band, they do except credit cards inside.. but the cost at the end of the rode is cash to listen to the band. They do sell wine, cheese, bread and gifts in the shop.

    Tons of outdoor seating outside

Free samples of good wines, friendly server. Didn't rush us through the samples but kept us engaged in conversation.

Stunning vineyard and incredible wine! I got married here this past June and it was a magical day…read more With the wedding package, you get the vineyard to yourself for the whole day. It is such a picturesque place to get married. We also rented the old historic house for our wedding party to stay in for the whole weekend. Definitely a necessity since the venue is 20 minutes away from the nearest town and any hotels. The whole venue is perfect for a rustic wedding aesthetic. Lindsay, who coordinated the contracts and who I communicated with, was lovely and kind. The vineyard is not open during the week, so sometimes communication was slow. I was surprised on the day of our wedding, no one from the vineyard was present (a part from the bartenders). We had a few issues come up that would've nice to workout with venue staff, but we are easygoing people and made it work. It is the most affordable wedding venue I could find in the general STL area. There were a few extra costs like the wedding arch and linens, but those are minuscule in the grand scheme of things. I would definitely recommend visiting the vineyard for wonderful wine and cheese boards on the weekend or if you are looking for a stunning venue for your next event!

I can't begin to explain what a great spot this is!…read more It is dog friendly, it is wide open and beautiful, it has lots of live music, it is run by a family that is so very nice, and it is super affordable and tastes great! You can get a flight of wines for $5 or a glass of wine or a pint of beer for $5 each. You can even do a tour and tasting for $10. Plus, all the bottles are pretty much under $25. And they have quite a large variety of whites, reds, and roses too. Cindy, one of the owners, is so very friendly and helpful. She will go through an entire tasting with you with the highest level of patience, allowing you to taste and try anything you'd like to. Her brother-in-law also Is a gem, he himself Popsicles to all of the kids running around and let them ride on the tractor or explore into the garden. Would highly recommend if you are in the area!

Arthur was the live music for the day and he played a great variety of songs (acoustic guitar). The wine is fantastic. I do not know a lot about wine, but I do know that each one we tasted (6) was very easy to drink. We shared a bottle there and I brought 2 home. Bonus: you can bring your own snacks (no beverages). I love this. I enjoy planning my own winery snacks. I was bummed when many wineries quit allowing food because they opened kitchens. So if I have to pay $30+ for food. I'm buying less wine. Anywaaaay, make a little weekend out of visiting this area and have a lovely time at Edg Clif. (Photos do not do it justice)

If you're looking for a winemaking family who is passionate about the details - down to the genetics and ancestors of their grapes - then look no further! We would have loved a tour, but they were booked for the day (go early to make sure you get a spot!), but the tasting was a great second option! For $15 you try six wines from their very large list. They'll teach you about each one too. If you like bourbons or whiskey, I'd highly recommend their Cream Sherry - it won 12th best American wine at the Decanter Wold Wine Competition (The world's largest and most influential wine competition) in recent years (just enjoy slowly - it's 19%!!). Also, they make their wines very affordable! From $11-$40, everything is in reach! (They do have a $75 reserve Norton on the list as of May 2026.) You can enjoy the restaurant on site, shop alllll the wine accessories, relax on their patio above the hills of vines, play a game of corn hole, and pose for a few photos. Several other couples who arrived around the same time were welcomed immediately, but we were left standing there without any acknowledgment. It was uncomfortable and made us feel overlooked in a way no quest should experience. I can't say why we were treated differently, but the contrast was hard to ignore. Because of the lack of attention, we ended up buying only a few bottles- even though we originally planned to purchase two full cases. We also chose not to buy anything from the stores afterward, which is unusual for us, but the experience at the beginning made it difficult to fully appreciate the visit. For a winery with such a strong reputation, I expected a much more welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. This was a one- star experience for us, and we won't be returning.
