A great place to learn golf. Wonderful coaches, Courtney, Jerry, and Joel. The space is the right atmosphere, where there's 3 practice bays and 2 bays for lessons. Lessons are great value and you get to learn on a robot to feel the actually swing. I'm still taking lessons but definitely have learned a lot!

I had my first golf lesson in my life here. Before today, my only golf experience was of the mini variety. I worked with Joel who was fantastic. Everything is electronic and meant to finely tune one's golf swing. He changed my mess of a swing into something way more coherent in just one hour. The robot is definitely not a gimmick. It really helps you nail down the movements, which are vital. He recorded and reviewed my swing with me and even compared it to how the pros do it just to solidify the lesson. Extremely fun, will definitely be coming back!

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. My husband and I just finished up with lessons and this was by far the best lesson we have ever had (top golf and pga store lesson can not compare). I had jerry as an instructor and my husband had jim. Jerry worked with me on my swing and my terrible form and by the end of the lesson I was getting a really decent form. He was able to give me pointers and my swing, got on the robo golf machine and tremendously helped. I highly recommend coming here. I think even if you have been golfing for a while these guys would still be able to give out pointers. I can't wait to come back!

No one at the cash register and when employees do see you at the cash register, they don't bother to attend. Had to walk around the store for an employee to pick up my online order, went to this one employee who didn't bother to look up at me when telling him what I need, dude did not even walk with me to help me process the order, just told me to go to the non existent cashiers at the cash register. There was no one around him for him to attend to after me. I ordered a new condition Scotty Cameron for pickup and this thing didn't come plastic wrapped and also came with the wrong headcover. I had a phantom 9.5 and it came with a center shafted headcover. Don't pickup clubs from this store, just order online. My "new" putter has scratches and dings. Good to know that this place has yet to compete with club services that is like PGA superstore. I asked if I could get a service done on my putter the same day and I was told to go to the back and meet "Chris" and and it's the same dude that told me to go to the cash registers for my pickup. Apparently Chris refused to do service on my putter as he wasn't comfortable with doing the service. Dude got hired to do nothing except make people uncomfortable. The Golf galaxy at Summerlin is at least better than this place.

This was my second time being rung up by her. When I visited on Thursday, she informed me that I would receive $10 off after spending $50. Today I returned and made a purchase of around $100, so I mentioned what she had told me previously. Instead of explaining the situation professionally, she laughed at me and said, "You must be hallucinating." I was honestly shocked. That response was completely disrespectful and inappropriate to say to a customer. If there was confusion or if the promotion only applied to that specific day, she could have simply explained that there was no reason to mock or insult me. A manager was eventually called and clarified that the promotion was only valid for that particular day. That explanation was fine, but Desiree could have handled this professionally from the start instead of making assumptions and speaking to me in such a rude manner. I spend a significant amount of money at this location and do not expect to be treated this way by someone who is supposed to represent the company. This experience was disappointing and unacceptable, and I hope management addresses this behavior moving forward.

Rob was nice and clearly knew his stuff, but I didn't feel I got the chance to try the clubs I wanted to because of the rush. I was asked to choose 2 from TaylorMade, Ping, or Callaway GI irons based on looks, and then we would try the shafts. I asked about trying the Titleist but was told they wouldn't be a good fit for me. We went through a few shafts; it seems like some of the standard choices weren't available, so we ended up with upgraded shafts. I ended up with the fitting documents and was told I had to purchase the clubs before I left, or the fee wouldn't be credited. To be fair to Rob, that's a company decision, not his, but I already felt rushed, and then, all of a sudden, I had to make a decision immediately while someone else was booked in and waiting for Rob. In the end I paid for the fitting, walked away, and booked another fitting elsewhere. In hindsight, I should have just picked up a wedge. The clubs I was fitted into at Golftec were at the bottom of my options. The other place gave me 2 months to order clubs and get the fitting fee credited. I've now ordered a full bag, and for the irons, the data told me the T350's were my best option. So I went with Titleist in the end.

Amazing store for dog owners, outdoors people, hunters, fishers, boaters, campers, and more. Great…read moreselection, and great value. It is also a really fun place to visit even if you aren't shopping for anything specific. As a big-dog owner with a Doberman who is a service dog in training, I've now visited this store three times with my dog, and every trip has been fantastic. The store carries a huge variety of outdoor equipment, clothing, hunting and fishing gear, camping supplies, boating equipment, shoes, dog supplies, treats, toys, and more. I especially love the aquariums and taxidermy displays throughout the store--they make it feel more like an experience than just a store. There's also an archery range, outdoor seating, tractors on display, and a beautiful entrance with a wooden bridge over water. **** Why I especially love it for dogs in training**** For dogs that already have their basic commands down and are ready for more real-world exposure, I think this is an excellent environment. There are so many opportunities to practice: * Different surfaces: wooden bridges, smooth floors, carpet, stairs, rocks, etc. * New sights: taxidermy, boats, tractors, aquariums, hunting and camping equipment, and more. * New smells: fish bait, treats, snacks, clothing, shoes, other dogs, and people. (Smelling from a distance ofc, I don't let my dog stick her nose right up in there, that's rude haha) * Loose-leash walking and heeling: It's a large store, so there's plenty of room to practice navigating turns, corners, and aisles. * Down-stays: The many aisles make great opportunities to practice staying calmly while you browse. * Focus around distractions: On busier days, your dog may encounter children, adults, other dogs, and all the other activity that comes with a large store. * Tasking practice: For service dogs in training, it can be a useful environment to practice maintaining focus and performing tasks around distractions. * Confidence building: The variety of sights, sounds, smells, surfaces, and people can provide gentle exposure for dogs who need to build confidence. Of course, I would only recommend bringing dogs that are under control, non-aggressive, and have a reasonable foundation of basic obedience. And always follow the store's current pet/service-animal policies. As someone who can get a little anxious about whether my SDiT is behaving perfectly, I also appreciate how comfortable and welcoming this environment feels. I've had my dog do the occasional "drive-by nose boop" to someone we passed, and instead of feeling embarrassed, I've generally found people to be incredibly understanding and friendly. I've even met fellow big-dog owners and had conversations about Dobermans. One of my favorite moments was when my Doberman suddenly froze and intensely stared down an empty aisle with one paw lifted like she was "pointing" at something invisible. An employee and I both started laughing. **** Great for big-dog owners**** I've found their dog selection particularly useful for larger breeds. Because of the store's focus on outdoor and hunting dogs, I've noticed a better selection of larger-dog equipment than I often find at typical pet stores. They also carry things that can be useful beyond hunting, including scent-training supplies, life jackets for swimming, training equipment, toys, treats, and other gear. I could easily see using many of these products for scent work, dock diving, outdoor adventures, and general training. I also appreciate the selection of dog treats and the ability to find options with ingredients I feel comfortable giving my dog. **** Overall Experience **** The staff have always been friendly, personable, professional, and helpful--and sometimes genuinely funny. There's plenty of parking, and the outdoor area and entrance make the store feel inviting before you even walk inside. I also love that it's open until 10 p.m. on weekdays. To me, Bass Pro Shops feels like more than a store. It's almost like a little mini-world where you can shop, explore, train your dog, and see other people enjoying the store too. I highly recommend this place for hunters, boaters, fishers, campers, and outdoor enthusiasts.... but especially for dog owners whose dogs already have a foundation of obedience and are ready for more real-world exposure and distractions.
