I order online for pick up , and I can say is that I wished I lived close by in Tallahassee to try this location many more times. Visiting Tallahassee for the weekend I was looking for good Asian food around the area and this was one of them ! I order the chicken hibachi with Fried rice and it was delicious!!! The service was quick and my order was ready to go as soon as I got there ! Can't wait to try more of their food in the future .

Working in the area this one of my favorite quick lunch options. The staff is friendly and the food is good. One of my favorites is the samurai chicken. I also enjoy the yum yum sauce and the other sauces they have available. To me the food quality and service at this location is much better than the other locations in town.

This is my favorite place to eat whenever I visit Tallahassee! Everything you love about hibachi, but super casual, affordable and great for take out. I wish this concept was a thing where I live! They have a variety of sauce options, but the spicy yum yum sauce is my favorite! Call ahead so your order is ready when you get there!

Roboto's doesn't mess around. The Mahan location suggests a condensed menu, with the addition of Korean BBQ and the lack of sushi. Not much has changed since I managed the joint. The food is consistently flavorful, while never putting a dent in your finances. The sauce bar remains the cool place to hang out. The Korean BBQ has become a fan favorite here. All of these dishes are prepared on the hibachi grill. The reason why it's good is because of its simplistic approach. Meats are marinated over night, cooked appropriately and piled high. Bulgogi beef w/ fried rice and kimchi will cure all of your taste buds. Business pops from 11am-2pm and 6pm-8pm. But my main man Javoris pumps out delicious meals with ease. Keep up the great work, guys!

It's been a few years since I've been to a Mr. Roboto's location in Tallahassee. I had yet to visit the Mahan one, and some friends and I decided to try it out. This location is nustled right next to Jersey Mike's in the Publix shopping plaza right off Mahan. It's a decent location near a ton of stuff. The place itself is modest in size, but it seems a lot of people order out from here too, so I doubt it's ever too packed in there. I love Japanese themed artwork, so the mural on the wall was really neat, and it added nice flair to the ambiance. The only thing I would say about the inside is that the seats aren't the most comfortable, but hey, you can always order to-go! There aren't terribly many choices of food to get, but that doesn't mean it isn't good. I think they offer a good cornerstone of each type they cater to, i.e. Hibachi, Chinese, and Korean. I've had one from each of them. Hibachi chicken, orange chicken, and bulgolgi beef have all been great. My favorite would be the bulgolgi beef though. It's seasoned well, and with an extra serving of rice you have plenty of food. Top it off with some yum yum sauce and you're in for a treat. The prices are great honestly. It's cheap, fast, and tasteful. Most of the meals are below $10 I believe, so it's easy on the wallet. The staff was fine. I have no complaints there, as they did their jobs how they were supposed to. My friends and I visited 3 times within a week, and I got a good feel of what it's about. For the price and amount of food, it's hard to beat this deal in Tallahassee.

Over the course of our dinner, we chose the Galbi short ribs, Hawaiian beef, wine, pork belly, shrimp, octopus and vegetables from the main menu, lettuce to wrap around the protein and the crispy pork belly appetizer. I enjoyed everything but the octopus, but my favorites were the short rib and the Cajun shrimp. There was a robot that brought the food to us, which was neat. For dessert we got little cups of ice cream, chocolate, strawberry or vanilla. FYI, it's all you can eat, but you have to pay if you take food with you. Overall, we enjoyed the experience and the food. Our server James did a great job. I would like to go there with more people so we can try more items before we get full.

I somehow only stepped in there once to say hi to Yelpers prior to moving to the area. At any rate, I eventually moved to Tallahassee, and an acquaintance had told me this place was opening soon one day when I bumped into her at Costco. Given that this is Tallahassee and there aren't many food options, of course I was excited. Especially thinking back about all the positive things I had heard about the Pembroke Pines location. It turns out that this location in Tallahassee opened up some months back (February exactly per the hostess) and today was the day we went to try it out. I will tell you that it can be easy to miss this restaurant. It is next to Essence of India, and if you aren't paying attention, you won't notice that this is right next door. The interior is pristine. A large bar sits at the center of the room. As far as the room itself, it's vast and spacious, with there even being a connected area with you guessed it--more rooms! We were led to a table and Brandon was our server. He was nice and got the job done, along with his robot coworkers. This restaurant has robots that personally bring you some food items. It's been awhile since I've seen this, but it was super cute, particularly as the robots were polite with one another, even saying "excuse me." We began with drinks. I had a strawberry boba tea with strawberry boba. Potentially an overkill of strawberry, but it's my favorite. My companion went for bottled Kirin beer as they were out of draft. In terms of our lunch, you begin with four meats, two appetizers to share, and an individual side. My companion let me choose the appetizers, so we began with spring rolls and pork belly. The spring rolls were accompanied by sauce and they were the clear winner. I felt the pork belly was too seasoned, although cooked properly. For our meats, we chose spare ribs, ribeye, curry chicken, and Cajun shrimp. I'll tell you that the Cajun shrimp was not spicy at all and I had been warned, so I dunked that in all sorts of sauces (they give you yum-yum sauce, chili oil, and teriyaki just so you know). They also give you kimchi, radishes, and bean sprouts--all super yummy! As for the sides, he had fried rice and I had japchae noodles. We were overall quite pleased with our lunch. I definitely see why people I know raved about this chain, because well, now I'm raving about them, too. I will say though that next time I want to go to dinner and with friends. It feels like it'd be a fun experience, especially as it's all-you-can-eat!

Although no one was at the front when I first arrived, the owner quickly came out, seated me, and checked in throughout my meal to make sure everything was going well. Tonight I ordered the traditional Hawaiian ahi tuna poke bowl plus the FSU roll and the tuna and crème cheese roll. You order at the counter and take a seat. The cook pr a runner brings it out to you. This place is very much a strip center restaurant, but it has the feel of a genuine Asian place that just happens to be in a strip center. The dining room is very fast food. Nothing really special. They're nice pictures on the wall and all that, but it is not fancy in the least. Your food comes out very quickly. And as previously discussed, it comes to your table. My poke bowl was very fresh and had tasty cucumbers and seaweed salad and what I think might've been arugula. If it was a arugula, it was definitely a mild variety. The Aji tuna was wonderful so was the cucumber and the fruit that was in there, I think it was a nectarine. It was very wonderful and the rice was good too. The cream cheese roll was really just basic, it was clean. It tasted good. There was plenty of fish, but it was a small roll as it says on the menu small rolls. Then there was the FSU role. It is described as a large role. It is a huge role. I could've used it as my entire meal. It is a cooked roll. It comes out warm very warm and it is the closest thing to Midwestern comfort food that I have ever had in an Asian restaurant. It was soft. It was warm. It was like a hug from your mom. That is if your mom makes incredibly good sushi. It was crunchy where it was supposed to be crunchy. It was firm where it was supposed to be firm, but it was without a doubt one of the best sushi rolls that I have had in the last 30 years. That is no hollow praise, I have had sushi on two continents in across the United States, and Canada and across Europe. It was amazing. So if you want an incredibly good, but not horribly expensive Hawaiian or Asian or sushi type meal, try this place They also have bull Gogi, but I did not try it. I was in the mood for fish.
