At first I was skeptical, because in spite of having a Y chromosome, I nevertheless know very little about cars and auto repair. Thus, at most other mechanics, I have often felt like I've been taken for a ride when I have brought my car in for anything more complicated than an oil change. When the time eventually came that I needed a mechanic, I remembered that coupon and called Dean Automotive. I was very pleasantly surprised. This is an honest mechanic (yes, believe it or not, they do exist!). Prices are better than the big-name repair shop chains. The owner, Ron, is very professional and polite. He won't try to push you into any expensive services or repairs that you don't need. I've been impressed with this shop's work so far.

The day after we dropped the car off we got a phone call stating that some parts were broken during the removal and our new total would be an additional $800. The person that did the estimate said he would still honor the estimate since these parts were never discussed that they needed to be remove. I called the shop to make sure that we would not be charged the extra amount and spoke with Tracy who told me that we will have to pay for the parts or they will not do the work on our car. So now they are holding our car hostage until we agree to pay for the parts. Take my advise and NEVER use this company they are very unprofessional and do not stand by their estimate!
