The Grill is probably one of the better restaurants in an area primarily served by chains and family style restaurants, which is not really a ringing endorsement if you like to eat out and have something creative and tasty. The menu features pretty standard fare that is palatable to the older folks who are their primary clientele. Nothing particularly innovative or flavorful. There is usually a daily special. Food can be hit or miss. Menu is not heart healthy, limited to no vegetarian offerings (guests are advised to ask for meat to be omitted from and item like a quesadilla or pasta). I live in Gilbert and I traveled 50 minutes to meet with friends and we all had lunch here. It was my first visit. It was completely empty when we walked in. I enjoyed the decor though. We were greeted by the hostess and other employees passing by. Our waitress arrived quickly and told us what the specials were. They all sounded amazing! I ordered a bacon cheese burger with poblano peppers. I have to say that was a top notch burger. It was delicious! I wish I lived nearby to visit again. Food that good is with the drive but unfortunately casa grande is far from Gilbert. Great food and service in the end!!! read more

Okay, had a lovely dinner with the family. Yes we took our little ones, for their second time here. They did very well I would have to say considering the candle centerpieces and white tablecloths. They have delicious fall-off-the-bone ribs, which my husband ordered. I was craving the fish fry, which is a Friday all-you-can-eat special, served with sweet potato fries, corn fritters & hushpuppies. Kiddos split a cheese pizza, with plenty left to take home. Previously, on a more formal occasion, without kids, we enjoyed a Prime Rib dinner(delicious), and also had cocktails. They do an awesome Long Island! **Back to our recent visit, at the end of our meal,my husband took our son to the restroom, no problem. Except for the fact that they said there is a huge window in the bathroom that you can see straight in and out of! No kidding! This may not be an issue for those residents of the private community. But this is a definite 1st for us. As we walked outside(the main entrance) we walked towards the front, and sure enough through that clear window, there was a grayheaded man, standing at the urinal, wearing a plaid shirt and dark denim jeans. Thankfully my daughter was looking elsewhere.... So men, zip up carefully or go into a stall if you really want privacy! If not for this tacky discovery, I would rate Robson Ranch Grill 5+stars. What an amazing place! The Robson Ranch Grill is located about halfway between Phoenix and Tucson (great place to stop for a meal or to meet friends from nearby cities!). We were so impressed by the food - the special the night we came was delicious all-you-can-eat fajitas with amazing fresh sauces and toppings... we also enjoyed their yummy desserts. We sat in the spacious back patio where you have a view of the verdant ranch grounds.... what an oasis in the middle of the dessert highway! Would be a scenic place to enjoy their margaritas and other beverages. Most of all, the staff treated us so well. Our server, Meghan, was so attendant and sweet, and the owner, Benjamin was also so kind to us. They were so friendly and professional - we really felt at home and can't wait to come back. Wholeheartedly recommend this place. Big thumbs up. read more

Horrible We called ahead was told they have Brunch on Sundays and it was buffet style. We spent 45 mins driving there and they are under construction and all they had was scrambled eggs, cold sausage, bacon, hard biscuits and some bland gravy. We rode down for breakfast today. Surprised this establishment was in a gated community. The lady at the guard shack directed us to the Grill. We had a laugh as we parked our Harley's among the golf carts. The restaurant was very nice. We requested to sit outside since it was a beautiful morning and they were accommodating. The server was very friendly. Food was decently priced and they even offered cocktails if requested- bonus. The food was very good. However, it did take awhile for our food to come out. Only other complaint I heard from the group was about the hash browns- 2 people in my group had them and said they were different than normal breakfast hash browns. Been there several times, this time to entertain a good friend. Always the same result. First, the good news..........great ambiance. That's it for the good news. Mediocre food, overpriced and served by a waitress who thought she was doing us a favor by allowing us to be served by her. Approached the table to see if we were ready to order............when told, not just yet, disappeared and never returned. After 15 minutes, had to send someone to find her. Cold and impersonal. Toward the end of the meal, reached in front of someone who was still eating to clear away a plate. Very brusque. Needs to spend a week at In-and-Out Burger to learn how to deal with (and be appreciative of) customers. Quick to bring the check, though............perhaps to see how big her tip was going to be. Won't be back..........ever. read more

I love Robson Ranch to visit and to look at, wish I could live there but I don't. Four of us went there on a Saturday night to eat their steak dinner we raved about it for a year before. Surprisingly it was not crowded the service was great the food was slow coming out it was cold got prime rib dinner. Have you ever eaten a cold small prime rib, thin, juiceless, ordered medium, colorless, blah. Hard to chew and the double baked potato was hard like a shell for some reason, needed a lot of sour cream to swallow It! 4 broccoli florets as veggie, whoo hoo. Don't know what happened but will not ever eat there again the prices were higher and the food was less in value. You can take your chances. read more

Heard a lot about the Grill at Robson and the six of us gave it a try. The drinks were great and not too expensive. Five of us ordered the special of the day: Philly steak. Should have ordered anything else. It took the kitchen one hour and ten minutes (70 minutes) to make the sandwich, and what a disappointment. The steak and cheese were great but the other halve of the sandwich had the peppers and onions but no steak. The service staff were fantastic, especially Charlsie. We did get the attention of the manager, but he had his phone glued to his ear. Charlsie made an executive decision and compted our dessert. read more

Robson Ranch Grille is by far the best full-service restaurant in Casagrande Arizona. We have eaten there several times and the food quality is veryconsistent. Tonight I ordered the bacon wrapped tenderloin and my husband ordered the shrimp scampi. The bacon wrapped tenderloin was cooked to perfection, medium rare, just the way I like it. The service also was very good. We had only a short wait for our food. If you go for lunch try their French fried potatoes. They're the best I've ever had. read more

The Mother's Day brunch was pretty expensive with not a lot of variety for the price. The waiter over charged us and then supposedly reversed the charge. Three days later I realize there is still a double charge on my account. When I called the bank they said the establishment had not cancelled it correctly and I should call them. After speaking with a manager she said I would have to " just wait" for the transaction to clear and gave me the owners email address. I guess he is to busy to provide quality customer service. Went on sunday which is the breakfast buffet. I must say I don't like buffets so I was a little disappointed. But that didn't last long. What a treat. The buffet items were all delicious, well prepared and different from other breakfast buffets I've been to. Fresh fruit. Gourmet pastries, some of the best coffee ever. Group of ten adults, arrived at 4:30 on June 1. Ordered at 4:45. We did not get meals until after 5:45. No info on delay until after we chased down the waitress and asked. Told that the potatoes and rice weren't ready???? A couple of our friends were lucky enough to have ordered items that came with soup or salad so they were not as inconvenienced. Finally, at 5:20 asked for bread (you have to ask???) and even that took over ten minutes to get. All the while, others were coming into the restaurant and being given bread baskets and receiving food. At 5:30 I asked the front desk to have the manager come over to our table. He never arrived until after our food was brought out. And as to the food... two orders of fish and chips, and an order of fried chicken came out overcooked and blackened; the fries on my plate were barely warm. Others in the group were satisfied with their meals. As to the manager, his feeble offering of "this is not what we expect" really didn't do it. The overall experience was totally unacceptable. While the facility is very nice, the food and service are pathetic. I see from other reviews that there have been patrons who enjoyed their experience. I hope that if you choose to go to the Grill that you will be one of the lucky ones. BTW, this has not been our only experience with disappointing food/service at the Robson Grill. The only reason I attended again was that it was a birthday celebration for a friend. read more
