Prior to seeing a movie, we were deciding where to grab a bite to eat. My friend found Roburrito's on Google, and we decided to give it a try. It's a smaller place when you enter to order at the counter but with a decent number of seating options. The burritos were so tasty, we all enjoyed them and felt relatively full. The flavor options of the sauces were pretty good, though my friend thought she should have chosen a spicier sauce option. I couldn't grab a good picture of the inside, but it was DELICIOUS. Roburrito is a must to go place for food when we re going to York area . I personally love to eat burrito here because of its customize way. I love the Kyle style and all kind of sauce levels they have here. The service is great. There are not much group table (about 5 group tables) and couple high seats. People usually spend around 30mins here including waiting for food. Food came out quick (about 10mins of waiting). Rob Burrito, whose fake presence oversees all Roburrito locations, knows how to make a good burrito. And they teamed up with an excellent sauce maker to bring the magic to your mouth. I absolutely love their Texas Hold 'Em BBQ burrito (enough that I buy a bottle of sauce every time I pass through York), aa it is both filling and extremely tasty. The chicken in it is tender and juicy, and the rice and other toppings are cooked exactly how I want them. Service is cool because everybody there is a totally cool guy/girl/person. read more

The five stars is strictly for the food. Though accurate, I'm disappointed in seeing all the negative reviews for the customer service. The staff has always been generally unfriendly and cold. I mean the brand of the hot sauce they sell says it all "grumpy marks". I appreciate good, friendly, service just as much as everyone else but I think it's their "thing". Go for the burritos, don't expect good service, eat your burrito and forgive them - or not - it is what it is. Love the steak burrito with everything along with the medium, peach and mango hot sauce. Every time I'm home (not often) I make a point to lunch here. So tempted to try the burritodilla but since I make infrequent stops I like to stick with what I know. A local favorite! I can't say I've ever really had a disappointing meal at Rob's. I always get the chicken burritodilla meal -- which consists of chips, salsa, guac, and a drink (I always choose the limeade!) Everything is always cooked properly and flavors are great. There are so many sauces to choose from, but my favorite is the Curse of Dracula! I suggest eating in to get the full experience. Check out the artwork on the walls, visit market if it's open. Consistently average burritos. I like the idea of this place more than I like actually coming here. I don't like that they don't have a good protein option for vegetarians. It's a fairly standard Pennsylvania burrito which isn't impressive. I made the mistake of bringing my half Mexican friend from Los Angeles here. He couldn't finish his. A group of us got a large order togo. I really was not expecting much. But i was really hungry. I ordered a quesadilla. I was surprised by the Overall flavor. I order it with a garlic hot sauce and chicken and steak. It was one of the best ones i have ever had. Service is always good Turn around time was fast. I want to like this place, but can not. The way you order is the worst. The burritos come set with certain stuff in them. I can not eat beans. If I want no beans and I want lettuce, they charge you $1! The quality of the food is average at best - they charge you for everything and an average burrito ends up costing like 12$ if you want basic stuff like lettuce. Eastern Market connects to this Roburrito's branch. The small, somewhat crowded interior suggests a branch uncertain of what theme they want: orange and yellow walls, signed $1 bills hanging up behind the register, a small skeleton in a cage hanging from the ceiling, prison bars in the bathroom (what??), and Roburrito's name written in mustache-shaped calligraphy (if you can call it that...) on the benches in the booths. A photo of founder Rob in Trekkie attire overlooks the restaurant from behind the counter. A few bits of debris littered the floor and the dim lighting gave the restaurant a dingy ambiance. The waitstaff was friendly and gave off a hipster / hippie vibe. However, they took quite a while to get us our food. It's easy to see into the kitchen, and the crew seemed to be moving about a lot from station to station, suggesting a lack of coordination/cooperation. I got the steak burrito with everything (rice, beans, salsa, guacamole, and sour cream) as a meal. Not bad, though I've definitely had better. WAY too much rice and sparing with the steak, black beans, and salsa. The guacamole tasted good and was plentiful (and included standard with all burritos - woo hoo!), and sliced jalapeños come free at customers' request! What redeemed the otherwise underwhelming burritos were the many available hot sauces from Old Grumpy Mark - I recommend Dracula's Revenge with its SPICY, garlicky, salty-sweet punch. The house-made limeade is a refreshing, albeit overly sweet, contrast to the meal. A $7.50 bargain gives you a burrito, a side of chips and salsa, and your choice of beverage. Next time I'm at Eastern Market, I'll probably just eat something at one of the stalls inside. If I'm seriously craving a burrito, I'll swing over to Chipotle knowing that it will be tastier and likely to prepare my food quicker. If you're not in a hurry and want a cheap bite to eat and nothing's grabbing you at Market, this place is fine. read more

First time trying the burritodilla and I didn't particularly like it. Didn't have enough flavor for me as the robburito did- I tried my husband . Overall, we always enjoy robburitos food. I went there today to get a burrito, used to go there ALL the time 2014-2016 when I worked in York...Haven't been there in a few years...So today I finally go there with my friend, and on the way there I'm bragging to him about how good the food is...So we get there, order the food, finally get it....And the burrito was very disappointing SMH they didn't even grill the outside of the burrito wrap! Roburrito's truly redefines the Americanized Mexican burrito. Although I temporarily made myself sick from eating this too often, I returned soon after, craving their DELICIOUS potato burrito and chips and hot sauce. Midnight mango, you have my heart. Roburrito was probably my favorite meal that I had while in York this weekend, and I have to say that central PA is lucky to have this small burrito chain! It seems like all the somewhat-alternative folks of York seem to hang out here, so it has a good vibe to it. This location has jail-themed bathrooms, which added to the kitsch-factor (apparently each location has a different theme). I split the carnitas burrito and the barbacoa burritodilla and I have to say that the burritodilla totally won me over. The meat was so perfectly done and the added combination of the melted cheese and crispy tortilla was perfect. There wasn't too much rice or beans- it was a good balance and everything was fresh and made to order. Guacamole comes standard too, which is so great. I would definitely recommend springing for the "meal deal" which comes with chips and pico as well. There are an array of hot sauces that you can use, and most are on the less-spicy end. However, they don't lack at all in flavor and I loved both the mango and the pineapple. They don't advertise being a BYO, but some other tables definitely brought beer, which is a good idea for next time. I wish there was one of these in Philly because then "next time" would come significantly sooner. read more

I love Roburrito's because they make simple, delicious burritos at a pretty reasonable price. Their storefront is a bit wacky with random pictures and bright colors and their staff is always friendly when ordering. They have a few different options for meat in their burritos, but I always stick with their potato vegetarian options. If I could make any change about the place, it would be to offer their breakfast burritos all day long. I've been dying to try them, but am never there Friday/Saturday morning. They also have rotating specials of burrito "add-ins" like mushrooms, pineapples, jalapeños. I also like to try the different hot sauces they have scattered among the tables. They have a spicy meter so that you don't accidentally try one that's beyond your palate. On my most recent visit, our burritos took 25 minutes to make, which meant we had to convert our order "to go," but every other time I've been, they come out in 10 minutes or less. I would come here often for lunch but the probability of a food coma afterward is high. This place makes a hardy burrito that really comes to full flavor exuberance when you add one of their 10 sauces. On both weekday afternoons that I went I did not encounter a crowd. My party and I were able to order and get seats right away. Feeling that mid-afternoon sense of I-really-need-food-right-now-or-I-am-going-to-die, I ordered the steak Roburrito which includes all the fixings. The burritos were slightly smaller than Chipotle burritos yet still big enough to satisfy my hangry cravings. Because I love spicy foods I poured a teaspoon of the hottest sauce they have, the Black Label, onto the burrito. It wasn't all that spicy. The other sauces were variations of chilis (habanero, etc.) and sometimes included fruit (pineapple or mango). If you're getting food to good, definitely get some sauces to go as well. read more

Just catching up.....5/5/15 Two beef burritos. Fresh, hot and it had fresh cilantro hidden inside but....pout...it was shy on meat. I have noticed this about their burritos in the pass. Seems like the burrito is 3" in circumference and mostly rice....of course there are other stuffings but the rice seems predominant. The taco salad is yummy good. Chips are yummy good. The limeaid is excellent.....I believe it's from scratch. I love all the different hot sauces. But....shy on meat. As previously mentioned Roburritos seems to draw the alternative folks.....it can be somewhat of a parade. I like it :) read more
