Was invited by family to go here a couple weeks ago and I was blown away by how busy it was. Took a little while for them to clear and put together some tables for our party of ten. As soon as the pizza got there, I realized why they were so busy. IWe were there for almost 2 hours total and they never slowed down. It was some of the best pizza I have ever eaten. One star because we had a group of 15 & couldn't arrange tables so that we could all see each other because, and I'm not joking, "fire code rules". I seriously offered to pay $60,000 out of my pocket should a fire happen while we were there. And I would have honored that. If you love your pizza WAY over cooked then you might like this place. However, it's so over done that the crust is inedible. We've given this place four tries and everytime the same result. On the third time trying Rocco's we requested our pizza to be pulled early due to it being burnt the two previous visits and still received an overcooked pie. On the fourth visit we expressed our concerns multiple times and received nothing but excuses and attitude from the staff. Even after this we still received an over cooked pizza. When we complained again we were told by the staff that this is the way they prefer their pizza rather than offering to correct the issue or offer a refund. Won't be back! read more

I've been to most pizza places around spf area Rocco's is the best most consistent for the price is the area. A few others might be on the same par but I'll pay more. I think a large pizza here is like $12ish. The service is pretty good to never had any issues. read more

The crust was weird, and dough was a little dough-y.. but sauce and cheese were good. Don't bother with the calimari, it's still not quite there... We live right around the corner in Republic, and what can I say? IT is GOOD! The price point breaks the bank a tad if you like the larger pizzas, so it's a "real treat" when we are able to splurge and get the good stuff. Everything else price wise is fair. You can get a great deal on lunch specials! They have amazing alfredo sauce and ranch. I can't even begin to tell you how good the calzones are, any of them. Seriously, get a calzone! Rocco's is a classic neighborhood pizza shop. It's our go-to place after a busy day or kids' ball game. We always start with an appetizer of cheesy breadsticks (which never lasts long in our family of 6) that are always HOT and clearly handmade. Two larges will feed our crew with a few slices left for the next day's lunch. They have other Italian fare besides pizza, but we enjoy the pizza too much to get anything else. read more

We use to love Rocco's. We had a bad experience in January with a longer wait than expected for a carry out order & then came home to find out the food was cold. We tried again today by ordering online, only to find out that they never received our order. There is also (apparently) no way to log in to the website & see what the status of the order is. Even though we created a login account for the online order. We may end up being charged twice. According to the cashier, we will have to check with our bank to see if we were charged twice. So...we placed the order again in the store. Lots of apologies from the cashier & she says she will let her manager know, but we are done. My wife and I have eaten at Rocco's many times and have always been surprised at the quality and quantity of food. Go in hungry and I guarantee you will come out full. Before I start this review, I must say that I'm loving the new high resolution sign out front. It looks like it has the resolution of a potato, yes "potato" which references something that's so sh*tty it would have been taken by a camera built into a potato which wouldn't give it enough power to take any kind of quality photo/video. However, I guess it's better than the jokes that were on the last sign, which were reminiscent of the jokes that could be found on a Laffy Taffy rapper. For example: "How do you get a baby alien to sleep?" You rocket! But the jokes weren't that good. Never understood the point. It had nothing to do with the restaurant. Anyway, on to the food. My family ordered food to go, and I had the lasagna. Wow! It was terrible. It was primarily all meat, and had very little cheese, which was disappointing. The sauce had some kind of strange flavor, like it was cooked in wine. To be honest, you can easily go to Walmart to the frozen section and pick up either, Stouffer's or Marie Callender's and get MUCH better lasagna. If you're jonesing for Italian, do yourself a favor and go to Springfield. You're likely to accidentally run into a much better restaurant. read more

I live within walking distance of Rocco's. I enjoy the food, especially the pizza and calzones! I feel the pasta could use a little work in the seasoning department. We don't eat here as often because the pricing is a little high on pizzas. The lunch specials are very affordable, I will say! Other than taking advantage of the lunch specials, we love walking to grab a pizza at night ever so often and bringing it home! Worst service ever. We waited 2 hours for our pizza, that our server forgot to put our order in. We asked to speak to the manager, by the time someone came out we had got one of the two pizzas we ordered. He was extremely rude. He said "well your enjoying your pizza aren't you. I cant give it to you for free." Like really we never asked for it to be free. You could have apologized. Just know if he treats his customers like that, the ones who are paying for you to keep your lights on he probably treats his employees poorly. You sir need a reality check. I've been to Rocco's in 2013 and they served awesome pizzas. Sadly, this year the pizza was soggy, greasy and had bland favors. Way over priced, a sandwich & large pizza $32 w/no drinks only water, C'mon! :-( read more

My wife used to order delivery I would say at least once a week about 7 months back. I believe the two drivers I saw most were Logan and Dalton. I could be very wrong on their names, but they were very fast, friendly, and professional when they walked to my door. Until one day I was informed that my house was out of the delivery range and I was informed why and I understood. Now my wife and I started coming into the restaurant enough to realize they painted the place and hung new pictures. I became fairly close with the waitress's. My last time coming in, my wife and I ordered food and drinks and an appetizer. The salads were wilted, brown, and gooey. The appetizer was served 3 minutes before our food. Right when my pasta and my wife's pizza came out, I tried my alfredo and it tasted like the alfredo came with the building when the owner bought it. Very bitter and sour tasting. Wife's pizza was great though! I asked my waitress (Tori) to tell the manager/ owner that the pasta wasn't good and I wanted to trade a pizza for it. The owner had a snide remark saying the alfredo was made this morning blah blah blah. The owner sucks, the food is close to par not their yet though. I saw on getting to know republic's Facebook page that 3 waitress's were fired for bringing in a ex employee for lunch??? Real professional Mr. Owner. Seems like this guy is only after the dollar. Will not be coming back, will not recommend to anyone. I don't see this place lasting much longer. Hope to hear back read more

I used to be an avid Rocco's fan. It was REALLY one of my favorite places in the area to have dinner or a fun lunch. Something has drastically changed over the past year or so. Maybe cheaper ingredients? Maybe too many untrained teens cooking and "running" the place with no owner to be found? Not sure. My last two experiences goes as follows: ordered take out--a salad and an entree. The salad was literally made up of about 2 small handfuls of watery, rotting greens. Straight into the trash it went. My entree was Eggplant Parmesan but you wouldn't have known it because it was two grease-soaked pucks of gray mush. My last experience was dine-in and I ordered the same thing just to see if before was an "off" night. The salad was ok but the eggplant was the same as before. Greasy, cold, tasteless mush with a scant amount of sauce and cheese. Here's the thing--if I'm spending $50 bucks for my my family of four to have pizza and iced tea, it needs to be like it used to be--high quality and delicious. Sadly, it's not anymore. read more
