Arris' Pizza blows other pizza joints out of the water, point blank, period! My husband, son, and I love it! I love the crust. It's literal perfection. It's the kind of crust you actually want to eat either alone or with some Ranch. And they have great Ranch by the way. I do the Build-Your-Own pizza, medium, with: Ground Beef (Arris' Original), Traditional Pizza Sauce and the normal pizza cheese, roasted garlic, extra roasted garlic, and sometimes I add jalapenos. Muah* (chef's kiss), delicioso! This one amazing pizza, and it leaves me leftovers for the next day. The ground beef is SO flavorful and I'm a garlic junkie, so I'm loving that they do roasted garlic. The staff are friendly. The restrooms are clean and well-stocked. The restaurant is clean too. There's also a little bar area connected to the dining room, and an additional suite a few doors down that's for catering or events, I believe. Give this place a shot. You won't regret it. read more

Greeted right away and seated. Place was kinda packed for a Saturday evening. Menu was extensive and I was excited to start eating. Server took a good 15ish minutes to approach the table, he just wanted to take the drink order but not knowing if there would be more waiting I ordered apps and pizza then as well. Place was heated nicely for the cold winter night. Decor was pleasant and music was ambient. Drinks arrived then the Spanakopita, piping hot from the oven. I've never actually had one before so cannot compare, but it was flaky and tasty. Pizza arrived, I added roasted garlic to it. It was square cut and crispy based, toppings were plentiful, especially in the center. I was going to order dessert but I was full. Server never came back to check how the meals were or to offer more drinks. I boxed up my leftovers, paid the check and left happy. Would return for sure. read more

The pizza here is still crazy good. The seasoned ground beef pizza. The Greek sausage pizza. Both are some killer pizzas. Their house Italian dressing is really good. Bruschetta is a great appetizer. Their gyro real good. But the pizza will get you hooked and addicted. read more

I returned to try their pizza just a few weeks after my last review... I couldn't resist. This time I tried different toppings one with Pepperoni/Pineapple/mushrooms and the other with Italian Sausage/ Jalapeños/ and roasted garlic... I was sadly disappointed, I couldn't taste the spicy and pungent toppings I ordered at all, also last time I had forgot that I had ordered extra cheese, but this time I didn't and was quite surprised by the sparse amount, so I'm knocking it down two stars. The Extra Cheese puts the perfect amount of Cheese on top... at least in my opinion. Without it the pizza suffers and drops down in appeal and appearance significantly. I was especially disappointed that I couldn't taste or detect the flavor of the Pepperoni or the sausage or the Jalapenos or the Garlic or the Pineapple aka the toppings that I paid for, to sum it up...the Pizza was (shrugs shoulders) okay, but definitely a huge let down from my previous experience and 5 Star review. read more

Haven't had Aréis in forever; ended up getting the Pandora, and Gaea. Still pretty good, but will all the places around me I usually don't drive across town for it. I would say Arris is my 4th possibly 5th pick for pizza in the area. They aren't my absolute favorite, but they are better than anything corporate. A little on the pricey side, but they have some pretty original pie's. If it's close head there, but if you are on the Northside there are way better options. read more

This is a great place to eat! The service is top notch and they pay attention to you. I've had the pizzas (my favorite has jalapeños & Greek sausage), the gyros, and the salads! They are not only good but affordable for an easy going lunch or dinner. The crust is thin, and not everybody likes that, but that's how I like mine. The eating area is clean, not overly decorated, tasteful. The emphasis is on serving good food and providing good service. If I'm close and am looking for a good pizza, I'm going to Arris. read more

I really enjoyed the food here! Walking inside it's such an inviting and low-key atmosphere. Very family friendly. The service was very attentive and everyone was so nice. There were a lot of different options on the menu. Much more I'd like to go back and try. We ordered the Homer pizza and added gyro meat. It was delicious. I was worried that with the gyro meat, artichokes and feta it would be too salty but it wasn't salty at all. My only complaint is that I really couldn't taste the feta at all or see it on the pizza. I will say though when I mentioned this to the waitress she offered to bring me an extra side of feta. I will definitely be going back and trying more food. read more

My friend Mallory worked here years ago and one day she suggested us go here for lunch. I had previously told her how I was craving some meatball pasta and she told me they made homemade meatball spaghetti here so I had to try it out. We ordered their cheese dip which was seriously the best cheese dip ever, I ordered my meatball spaghetti, she ordered pizza, and both of our meals came with a salad. I never knew I could love a side salad this much until I went to Arris. Their salad is so fresh, nice and crunchy, and is actually very filling. I got my meatball and spaghetti and was not disappointed. I am actually craving it right now as I am typing up this review. The second time we went, I tried something new and got their gyro which was also very good. The taziki sauce here is nice and thick- not watery or lack flavor which gave the gyro a huge boost (not that it needed it). This is probably one of my top favorite restaurants I've been to in Springfield so far and I highly recommend it. I'll definitely be back for more! read more

Driving through the area on a road trip this place popped up as a suggestion. Glad we tried it. We ordered their in house made Hummus with pita bread. It was spiced nicely. We had no problem finishing that off! Then we ordered a large thin crust pizza, we tried their Greek sausage and their Italian sausage. As far as I know it was the first time I've had Greek sausage on a pizza. It was very good but I'm still a bit partial to Italian and their Italian sausage was excellent. I had read in some reviews that they lightly sauce and that's an understatement. We ordered extra sauce cause I love heavy pizza sauce on my pizza and it looked and tasted like there was barely any on there. If I couldn't see there was a little pushed out to the sides I'd guess there was none on there. I did find that disappointing and if there had been at least an average amount of sauce I would have given them 5 stars. The pizza was the best I've had outside of the Chicago area for sure. So even with little sauce the excellent crust, flavorful sausages and fresh ingredients make it a great choice for pizza. read more

Even though ownership has changed food and service are great, maybe better. Had my regular Greek salad and this time a crispy crust 'Achilles' pizza. SUPER! Anything with jalapeños is my go to - and 20 years ago you never saw jalapeños on any Springfield menu ;-) Originally thought I'd do carry out but it wasn't too busy. Also like the quieter Annex side sometimes when the pizza side is a little loud. Keep up the great job! I am updating my review. I enjoyed a good food and service experience again but have to note that the dining area is looking seedy. Owners should consider some renovations as the chairs, walls, baseboards, floors are looking pretty warn. Unfortunately that can be confused with not being clean and cared for. Good to the bone! Don't go in there looking for old school deep dish Pizza Hut pizza, this is a different style. It has a cracker-like thin crust in the "St Louis" style. The service and atmosphere is terrific and that pizza is full of wonderful, well-crafted flavors. I can't wait to go back. I love this place. I'm gluten intolerant and they have a delicious cauliflower gluten Free crust. It's so good! And I decide the toppings. Unlike other places that only offer you a certain one if you order gluten Free. I've never gotten sick after eating their pizza. read more

When you grow up on the east coast - thin crust, dirty water, non-cornmeal pizza is the standard. Damn I miss the NYC $1 pizza on every corner and it's bomb. Then I moved to the midwest - I was open to the deep dish pie. And now there is this Arris. Neither thin crust nor deep-dish, it's like a harder flaky pie/naan/quiche crust and no real crust like the STL style that is cut into squares. It's just not my thing and I've had it numerous times, but I just can't get into it. The toppings are lovely and fresh. Actually - I love all the toppings combinations. I just don't love the crust and I prefer a sweeter/spicer tomato sauce. But really - this is a wonderful place with wonderful pizza and it's always busy. But for this east coast girl, it can't replace my NY slice. I'm still looking for some decent pizza in town. read more

Usually go after church on Sunday Three Sundays ago pizza came out burnt. Ate it but was dis-pleased. Two Sundays ago ordered same thing bus asked if the would please not burn the pizza. Came out even more burnt. Waitress had kitchen re make pizzas and gave them to us in to go boxes. Today ordered same pizza. Came out burnt. We requested they remake the pizzas.
