I ordered a beer they only had in a bottle. I asked for a glass so I could pour the bottled beer into and they refused to bring me a glass. I ordered a pitcher of beer and the hateful old lady (owner) who refused to bring me a glass earlier returned with a pitcher and a glass. She started pouring my beer into the glass and had to stop after half of it was foam. It was obvious she had no training. Our food came out very quickly and was mediocre at best. Onions rings were over cooked and tasted terrible. I would not recommend this place and have had better experience at the Mexican food truck nearby. read more

We had our rehearsal dinner here because it was near our wedding venue. I am so glad we did! I was more than we could've expected. Kathy the owner is a busy lady but when we finally got to talk, she was so sweet and helpful. She helped me plan my menu and gave advice on how much food to get. I had one guest with a gluten allergy and she was able to do a gluten free pizza for her! We opted to do a buffet style in the side room which perfectly accommodated our party of 27. When we arrived everything was set up perfectly and she even decorated our tables which we totally did not expect. The food all came out right on time and was DELICIOUS! Her servers were all very attentive and kind. She even helped me cut and serve a birthday cake that I had brought for my mom. It felt like Kathy took me in as her own and truly wanted my evening to be special. Overall it was a fantastic experience and I will definitely be back! read more

Worst service I have ever had. Group of 8, we were the only people there. They took care of care out orders but totally ignored us. I asked 3 times for a drink refill and did not get it. Pathetic. Sad, the food is ok but I'll never go back. read more

Food here is always delicious!!!! Pizza was fantastic. Salad was fantastic. Service was horrible!!!!!We waited 15 minutes to be seated!! They kept stating will be right with you. However no one ever came to seat us. There was waitresses walking back-and-forth and nobody ever put us at a table. They brought our pizza we had to ask for plates!!!! The waitress then disappeared for 5min and we ate in napkins! We asked for our salad after she brought our pizza. She then brought the salad And had to ask for the second pizza that we had ordered all three items were ordered at the same time. We asked for our check in for a box she brought the check, never brought the box and then when we went up to pay, she didn't even recognize that we were the table that she had been waiting on. This little place in the middle of Willard was awesome....we were late getting there and instead of closing on us they waited...with 20 people to feed at the family reunion for our sons wedding it was a life saver literally...the pizza dough was just a touch sweet which is what we love and the cheese was totally stringy when we bit into it...yummy! The sauce was the perfect blend of tangy and sweet...not the greatest but not the worst either...right down the middle for the taste...but their service and pleasantness to us even when we made them wait until after they were closed is why we gave them such a great rating...you can not go wrong with this sweet little place.... read more

I rarely write bad reviews so, this pains me that I must warn others about the extreme unprofessionalism and disrespect that me and my fiancé experienced while dining at Pizano's. My fiancé has eaten at Pizano's on a few occasions as has my mother-in-law. I work out of state and just came back after being gone 3-months. My fiancé recommended Pizano's for dinner and I was excited to try their food based on her feedback. We ordered the fries W/cheese and bacon, their chicken wings and a salad for our appetizers. We also each ordered a large 16" pizza, my fiancé ordered the meat lovers and I ordered the deluxe, minus onions and substitute for jalapeños. We also order two deserts, the key lime pie & cheesecake. The food that was served was very good, I especially liked the fries & wings! My fiancé received her pizza quickly after the appetizers came out however, the salad she ordered was never delivered to our table. I sat patiently waiting for my deluxe pizza while my fiancé started eating her pizza. After about 20-30 minutes after my fiancé received her pizza I still had not received my deluxe pizza and thought about going up to the sales counter to ask when my pizza would be ready but, I decided to keep waiting until our waitress came back to check on us because the staff seemed busy/occupied cleaning and getting the restaurant ready to close. Finally, after 30-minutes our server came back to check on us so I asked about my pizza and the salad my fiancé ordered. She said she those items on the ticket and double checked the receipt. After she looked the receipt over she said oh no, my boss is going to yell at me, I forgot to write down your deluxe pizza on the order. Let me get my manager. This is where it got horribly wrong.... The male manager who is also part owner came out only to tell me they already turned off the equipment and could not make my pizza. He then tried placing the blame on me saying I should have said something sooner because if I would have the equipment would have still been on and they could have made my pizza. No apology, no empathy and no attempt to even try to make the situation better, he just blamed me for not asking about my pizza sooner. When we asked about the salad he had to look over the receipt and found it was rung in with the rest of our order so we were charged for it. The server said she could go make it but my fiancé declined because she had already filled up from eating her pizza. The owner did say he would take that charge off however, he again didn't apologize for the mistake and inconvenience. My fiancé of course offered some of her pizza for me to eat so I wouldn't go hungry. Since I didn't eat all day and worked 12hrs that day, I took her up on the offer even though she was planning on having her left overs for lunch the next day. By the way, the pizza was good but, it was a major bummer that my pizza was never made and the owners response was horrible. While I was scarfing down the pizza we were being rushed to leave multiple times by the staff who would come over and ask if we wanted a box to go for our pizza while I was still eating. Then another staff member came over and asked if we wanted our drinks in to go cups while I was still eating. Mind you, we arrived at 8pm and they close at 9:30pm. I hurried and finished the pizza and we asked for our dessert to go since clearly they wanted us to leave. Then the bizarre and unspeakable happened as we were heading out of the restaurant. The other owner and wife of the man who placed blame on me earlier for their mistake flagged us down before we exited and ask why we didn't tip our waitress.‍ First off, we always tip and start at 20%. From there it goes up or down depending on the service and quality of the food. My fiancé and I explained what happened just in case she didn't catch wind of the mistakes that were made and that because of those mistakes, and the disrespect from her husband, the co-owner we decided it was not appropriate to tip and reward such poor service. The woman owner then got disrespectful and tried to make us feel bad or obligated to tip our server because she only gets paid half of minimum wage plus tips. Not once did the owner apologize or offer to make things right. A simple apology and gesture of comping our desserts or offering a discount on our next visit would have been the proper thing to do. If those things were done we would have given a 10% tip and given this establishment another shot in the future. Mistakes happen, however blaming you customers for their mistakes, never apologizing and then chasing us down to basically patronize us and demand a tip is reprehensible. Unfortunately, we will never go back to Pizano's again. The owners really need to take some courses on customer service because if they keep treating folks the way they did me and my fiancé they will be out of business in time. read more

Horrible ownership!!! 3 years ago under different ownership they were great! I called for carry out and asked for extra sauce, I ordered a side of it as well in case they didn't correctly add enough. Well I got my pizza it was cold ( I was told 25 mins to pick up but it had to have been sitting there for at least 10 mins) anyways I drive home I'm about 7 mins away and open the box there is no sauce on my pizza... so I call let them know 1. My pizza is cold 2. No sauce so the girl puts Cathy the manager on the phone I explain the situation she says let me go ask my husband who made your pizza I said okay. She comes back with a huge attitude my Husband made that pizza with extra sauce I said no there's not any sauce on this pizza so she is like basically yelling at me at this point I said I will come up and SHOW you so I return with the sauce less pizza and show Cathy she's like that's the cheese when I show her the bare crust I then pull another piece of the cheese and it revealed no sauce ( shocker) she grabs it and goes in front of everyone to yell at her husband. Okay... comes back says that is extra sauce I was like literally just showed you and said it was cheese cause there was no sauce so instead of apologizing she says will make you a new one and drown it in sauce , I say no I want a refund we'll she gets in my personal space says no that was extra sauce we didn't charge you extra ( we should have somehow this was my fault cause you know I rang up my own order "sarcasm") so I wait for them to remake it I wait like 15 mins she comes out and says you have to tell us to put 3x extra sauce on it I was okay... im not a mind reader anyways she says next time just say we'll there's not going to be a next time because the lack of professionalism and common courtesy isn't something these new owners possess. It's a shame I used to love going there under previous ownership. read more

Great tasting pizza but was expensive ($27 for a large , split half w 2 types of combos, no soft drinks). Perhaps there was a mistake somewhere and I didn't notice the charge until the next days. I will definitely go back again because it was real good pizza and I live just down the street. read more

Nice place off the beaten path on the Main Street of Willard. It gets busy sometimes but the pizza is worth the wait.

I am such a fan of this place! I have lived in LA for the last ten years, and just moved home to escape the pandemic in a city. I always had my go-to place there, but was afraid I wouldn't find one back in the Springfield area. Boy am I glad I found this place! The crust is crispy yet soft, and the cheese is super high quality! But you really have to hand it to them when it comes to the sauce - sharp and flavorful with just the right blend of spices. In addition to the cheese pizzas we've gotten, we also ordered the Spinach Feta pizza and LOVED the alfredo sauce. My boyfriend is Italian and a hard pizza man to please - but he's also a fan of this little Willard gem; he loves their mozzarella sticks! So glad you guys are here! :D read more

I can't say enough about Pizanos. I am a pizza snob and I can honestly say that this is one of the best pizzas I've ever had. My favorite is the margarita pizza. I wasn't sure if I wats going to like it because it's not the traditional style. Its not ovalini mozzarella and there's no basil as a topping. They're version is pesto as the sauce and shredded mozzarella and fresh cooked tomatoes. It works and I even think I like it better. I've had the combo pizza and pepperoni and black olive and ham and pineapple. They were all great. There spinach artichoke dip is phenomenal and so are there chicken wings and zucchini sticks. I always try to support small businesses so I'm happy to say that this one is a gem. The service and food is the best. You need to try it. read more

I tried this restaurant for the first time last week. Was pleasantly surprised. The side salad was large and the house dressing was fresh. I ordered the spinach feta 9" personal pizza. I really enjoyed the combination of flavors. I want to go back to try both their combination pizza and the Big Pig. The dinner guests that accompanied me ordered those pizzas and they looked and smelled delicious! The Big Pig had pulled pork on it and it looked amazing! Lastly, our server Morgan gave us excellent customer service. Strongly recommend this place! read more

I work in Willard and eat here at least once a week because the food and service are some of the best in town. I've had quite a bit of the menu and haven't found anything I haven't enjoyed. Giving 3 stars because the service was good and the soda was great, but I would love to see a small town restaurant adopt at least 1 vegan option and what better place than Willard's local Pizza Parlor!! This would not only help vegans, but also people who are lactose intolerant! It's a Win-Win! REALLY GOOD PIZZA! Every time I had pizza from here it has been excellent! Whenever I dine in I always do the create your own pizza and it has always been magnificent. Prices are fairly decent too.
