Best pizza place in Pennsylvania in my opinion, employees make you feel like family and are very professional

Pizza was fine. A little too thick for my liking but fine. The tossed salad is a joke at $6.50 for a single layer of iceberg lettuce, 4 tiny tomato pieces and half of a ring of white onion and dressing in a little cup on the side. Worth maybe $3, definitely not $6.50. It's sort of the only place in town so I think you can't be too picky if you don't want to drive far. read more

I was traveling through York Springs and wanted some pizza. I ordered a large pizza to go with pepperoni, sausage and mushrooms. I was surprised at how low the price was but once I opened the box to eat it I now know why. Toppings were scarce, only a few slices of pepperoni, some pieces of mushrooms and I didn't see any sausage. Very little sauce and the dough was not cooked all the way through. I ate 2 slices only because I was hungry and threw the rest away. By far the worst pizza I have ever eaten. read more

As soon as you walk in and smell the scents, you know you are in an authentic pizza parlor. You will not find teenagers tossing dough on a conveyor belt here, you will find men using the pizza ovens God intended 'za to be cooked in. The sauce, cheese and dough is perfect. The pie could be a little bigger to be an authentic NY/NJ style pie, but it's still much bigger than those tiny slices the delivery franchises are throwing out. In short, the pizza was great. Also got a meatball sub with cheese that was very good. Great sauce, cheese and a very crisp flavorful sub roll. I don't think the meatballs where house made, though. They had that spongy filler laden consistency of frozen meatballs, but it was still a good sandwich. Will definitely stop in again some time. If you are heading down 15, it's the best place around. Call in an order and it's a quick skip off the highway and you'll be on your way in no time with much better food than you'd get at a drive-through joint. read more

We were traveling from NY to NC and didn't want to take a lot of time eating. I found this on Yelp and one of the reviews stated it was right off RT 15 and great food. Well we walked in and immediately placed our order. They had a great lunch deal, 2 slices of pizza and a drink for $5.99....we dined in and were back on the road in 20 minutes. We travel this route quite a bit and will be remembering this place for future trips. read more

Pretty nice little local pizza shop. Stopped here because a relative took a bus trip with local Wolf bus lines. We all ordered subs. The seating area is pretty spacious (has six 4 tops and two 8 tops; but it looks like most people do carry out. The menu was pretty expansive with the usual Italian fare (Pizzas, subs, strombolis, wings and such.) Like a previous reviewer stated they don't have fountain drinks, bottles and cans only. The people seemed to be nice. We came in on a Sunday evening around dinner time and they were pretty busy and a little frazzled. Order was done in about 20 mins. Food was hot and pretty tasty. The sub bread was all homemade, which was a plus. I would eat here again if in the area. read more

Rocco's is a great little place to pick up a sub or pizza. I occasionally stop in for lunch and they have good and affordable lunch specials. However my boyfriend and I tried the stromboli once and we not impressed- it was pretty basic and didn't taste very good I definitely recommend the subs and pizza! read more

This was mine and my husband's go to pizza for awhile simply because it was close to our house. Their thin crust didn't impress us so we tried the Sicilian (thick, square pizza) and it was almost always under-done in the middle and took forever to make. Not kidding, one time we went to pick it up after being told it would be a 45 minute wait(!). We got there and it still wasn't done, so we waited and waited and waited. Then, they didn't get our toppings right and the cashier argued with us over it! So basically we waited a total 1.5 hours from order time to purchase-and-walk-out-the-door time and it was the wrong pizza! Our patience with them wore out after that. Also, they don't deliver, which is kind of a killer as well. We will not be going back. There are much better places in the area. read more

We came in about an hour before they closed and everything was already off. They locked the doors before the time of closing. I needed ketchup for what I was eating and the dude looked at me and ignored me outside and all I seriously needed was ketchup. Stopped on a Sunday evening on our way home from PA. We started ordering a couple slices of pizza for each of us (3 people) the guy told us it would be cheaper to order a small pizza since it was the same number of slices. Didn't take long and it was delicious! I only wish they had fountain drinks (only bottled soda and tea). Would definitely stop again if we happen to be passing through in the future. read more
