I mainly come to Roche Bros Millis for their Sushi. The chef is right there making fresh Sushi trays to go. It's delicious, a good selection and reasonably priced. The store is very nice, all departments have nice displays and in general it's very inviting. Lots of ready to go dishes and meals available! Salad and hot bar too!

I've always been a big fan of Roche Bros. This location was recently remodeled, and it came out beautiful. Roche Bros is known for hiring armies of teenagers to work the registers and bag. I came here once before a big snow storm, the parking lot was jammed, I was expecting the worst, but they had every single register open and manned with a bag boy. The lines moved very fast, to the point where there were almost no lines. They do a really good job keeping lines short and moving fast at the busiest of times. It appears they are trying to be another Whole Foods, which is fine, I like Whole Foods, I just can't afford to shop there. I can't afford to shop at this Roch Bros any more either. Some of the prices are outrageous. Everything is much cheaper down the street at Shaw's in Medfield. Another issue I have is the meat counter is extremely limited. If you want chicken breast, then you have to buy the four fillet package with the celebrity chef's picture on it for $4.69 a lb. No store brand, no family packs, no Purdue.... I'll wait in line for 30 seconds and save a ton of money down the street.

But the quality is good and the service are good; way way way better than the Shaw's in Medfield (service there is non-existent).

Brunch does end at 11am so keep that in mind. My iced mocha and pb&j sandwich with a side of fries were all solid. There was also a pretty decent singer/guitarist playing on the patio. All in all a good experience.

This place happened to be exactly in the middle between where my friend and I live, so we decided to meet here for lunch. The street corn flatbread was tasty and cheesy, and my friend's fried chicken sandwich was also good. Service was friendly if a bit slow. After lunch, we went apple picking which was I think $34 for a peck which is pretty standard nowadays. They had macoun, macintosh, cortland, and some other varieties, but I prefer my macs. The apple orchard is very small compared to other places I've been, but served its purpose. Would have been nice to have a couple ladders in the orchard for easier access to apples on top. Would have also been nice if the bathrooms were not portapotties--my friend and I chose to hold it lol. They also have a pen with chickens, ducks, and goats that look fairly happy and well cared for. We came on a weekday so it was not crowded at all, but I would imagine it gets packed on weekends.

They have multiple little green houses / tents, some of which you can rent out for events. Their apple cider was really good; it wasn't too thick, it was perfectly sweet, refreshing, and tasted like fresh apples. The apple cider donuts were the best I have ever had (they were freshly made, so that might've played a part). Some of the characteristics I loved about the donuts is that they were moist, the sugar on it wasn't overwhelming, and a great size. They also have some animals, mostly chickens. Some of them were roaming around outside their coop but most of them were living their best lives in their coop. As a lover of chickens, these seemed well fed and well taken care of which made me happy. You can walk around to get to the different types of apples, but they also did have a hay ride to bring you to a more central location. They have a good variety of apples, and for an additional cost, you can also pick peaches, pears, nectarines, and maybe some other fruits. I filled my 1/4 peck bag with about 8 apples, the bag was about 6 in x 8 in x 4 in. The apples were delicious, very few had pests which were noticeable at the time of picking, but most of them were good. I didn't get a chance to go in but I did peek my head into their store, which they do sell apples, apple products, and other goods. One thing I noticed that has improved is their parking. They had more space, but also someone directing traffic to parking spots. I would recommend this spot for anyone looking for a good fall activity.
