I don't normally take the time to write reviews but I am this time because I'm tired of being given wrong information by this place. I purchased tires from this dealership less than two years ago on a 'buy three get one free' deal with free tire rotations. When I went there last week for an oil change, they indicated my 60,000 mile Michelin tires were in the danger zone after less than 40,000 miles. When I asked Ford about a discount from Michelin on the tires, they told me I could get discounts on only 3 of the tires since I bought them on a buy 3 get 1 free option. Then they proceeded to give me a quote that didn't look like any deal to me. I called Michelin, who told me I should get a discount on all four tires, not just three. I then priced out tires at one of their competitors, and got the same tires that Ford quoted me, for $117 less total. When I was there back in July, Ford told me I had a power steering leak and it would cost about $1000 to fix it. This information was given without anything written down. When I came back last week for an oil change, I asked them to check on the leak and give me an estimate, they said they didn't see any leak, nothing needed to be done, but there might be something wrong with my radiator. So either the first technician was wrong, the second technican was wrong, or they are making things up. My last complaint is about their typed-up "inspection sheet." On the same day they told me my battery was very low, the inspection sheet said the battery was good. It also said "tire tread depth measurements were checked and are ok at this time. Tire tread depths are 7/32 or greater." This tells me their inspection sheets are a joke or at the very least they have sloppy quality controls. read more

I cannot believe they are treating a REPEAT CUSTOMER LIKE THIS! Don't come here, horrible service experience...Update. I've owned this car for 5 months, it's been great! But the customer service after purchasing this vehicle has been horrendous. 2 weeks after purchasing I found water in the taillights. They fixed this issue by replacing the outside taillights, when I asked for the inside ones to be replaced as well since they had just as much water in them they never did. Then a piece of chrome trim was falling off that I didn't notice, they fixed it (without asking), then I had a terrible wind noise from the driver door, they bent the chrome in multiple places on the edge of the door leaving noticeable creases, and I am still having this wind noise. Now since the day I bought this THIRTY THOUSAND DOLLAR car, literally on the test drive there was some sort of rattling sound that I thought was an unbalanced tire, as it didn't make the sound again for about a week after purchase. I've been bringing this car in MULTIPLE TIMES PER MONTH, and EVERY TIME I come in there to try and figure out this issue I get the run around. "It could be a hood latch" "it could be a hood hinges" "every other car makes the same sound" "bring it to our certified body shop, we can't diagnose it" "bring it to a different dealership we can't figure out the issue"(after they looked at it for quite literally 20 minutes) "this sound is normal on ford escapes" NO ITS NOT!!!!! THIS CAR DOES NOT FEEL SAFE TO DRIVE ABOVE 60 MPH, IT SOUNDS LIKE AN AIRPLANE!!! I PURCHASED THIS CAR CERTIFIED PRE OWNED WITH THE SUPPOSED 170 POINT INSPECTION AND WARRANTY AND 100 PERCENT CLEAN TITLE WITH 14000 MILES!! How did I catch all of this within the first 3 weeks of owning it If there was a 170 point inspection done?? 5 months later and this car feels like it's going to fall apart at 60 miles per hour and above and they won't do a single thing about it. I've called MULTIPLE TIMES in the last 2 weeks and left messages, DURING BUSINESS HOURS, before 10 am, and have not received a call back. They said a month and a half ago they were ordering parts to fix this issue and they would be in within a week. None of these parts are causes of this KNOWN issue with this vehicle. And NONE of these parts have showed up yet, and I have no word on when these parts will be in. I have sent them multiple technical service bulletins and every time I send them they seem to be ignored and I'm always told they "can't find the technical service bulletin" when I send them full page documents with reference numbers, dates, and any other information they need to know, just because I purchased a car from a dealership with a warranty doesn't mean I don't know what I'm talking about, and I suggest if you want to keep a customers business, then you take their concerns seriously. My business will be taken elsewhere SOMETHING ISNT RIGHT, if I'M CATCHING ALL OF THESE ISSUES WITHIN DAYS OF PURCHASE, excellent sales experience, would not recommend coming here for anything else. read more

This place takes the awful dealership customer service reputation to a whole new level. When my truck broke down in Rochester a few years ago, I had it towed to this ford dealership. I waited half a day only for them to tell me that the kill switch was activated (something that should take a half hour at most). They charged me $400 for this. What irritated me the most thought was their lack of communication. I called numerous times to get status updates and they kept ignoring me or telling me that the mechanic would call me back. In fact I found out what the issue was by calling and hearing the mechanic say "oh yeah your car is ready to be picked up. It was teh kill switch." I rather have my truck towed all the way to Minneapolis before ever going back to these criminals. read more

Please dont use this dealership for your vehicle purchases or anything else for that matter. I went in and traded my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee in and they low balled me hard on the trade in. I purchaced a 2020 For ranger xlt sport from them for 37k. Unfortunately i was in a bad car wreck with it 2 days later. I had it towed Rochester fords collision center thinking they would take care of me considering i just gave them almost 40 thousand dollars. So with having my vehicle there I obviously needed a rental car to drive while it was being repaired. They absolutley refused to to do that even having a hertz car rental right next store.It Would of cost ford(million dollar dealership) a few hundred dollars. Based on this I was forced to have my vehicle towed again for another 300$ to little bobs auto body which is fixing my care and giving me a loaner for the entire duration of the repair. He's even coming to pick me up and bring me to the car. Apparently Rochester Ford has a terrible customer service reputation based on everyone I've talk to. Part of its my fault because i didn't do my home work on them. There sales manager Juan insisted the whole situation was my fault and I had too high of expectations. So please if you want a Ford look outside of Rochester. If the vehicle you want isn't on their lot they will get it for you. I'd avoid doing business with Rochester Ford. I found a vehicle that worked for me and have the purchase agreement in my possession. I get a phone call from my salesman the following day that the vehicle was sold and no longer available. Apparently the manager forgot to tell the salesman to put a for sale sign up. I went through 4 employees between test driving, trade in, financing, and paperwork and not ONE caught the error in time to avoid selling the vehicle. To correct it, they offered me only $500 more in trade in value and $1000 off a completely different vehicle which is completely insulting. I'd give 0 out of 5 if I could. read more

Absolutely terrible service department. After oil changes they don't clean the old drain oil off the bottom of the vehicle so it drips for the next 2 days. We schedule an appointment for a recall and 10 hours later they haven't even started the work. If I could give 0 stars I would. read more

Terrible service, will never do business there again. I had my vehicle in for a warranty repair today, the warranty was completed but there was a large dent in the tailgate of my car. Even the person who checked my car in said it wasn't there when i dropped the car off, and they still refused to repair it. My father in law is a service manager at a dealership and couldn't believe there costumer service. I have bought several vehicles from here and had problems with there service before. Don't recommend they had our truck from February 5 till March 20th. Never fixed it constantly lied to us every week. Last week Tony Berg our service advisor told us he finally ordered a transmission for it and it would be ready Tuesday, went to pick it up and he claimed it had to be coded and sent it down the road to dodge to be coded. Wednesday morning dodge called us and said the tranny needed to be rebuilt, he never ordered or put in new tranny and sat and lied to our faces. And don't bother complaining to the service manager because he obviously does not care about all the lies or 6 weeks our truck sat there while we were lied to about it. He sides with his lying service advisor Tony Berg. Don't bother with their service department unless you want to be lied to and never get it fixed . I also own a brand new explorer but I will guarantee I will never have it serviced there, I will gladly drive to Zumbrota Ford to get it serviced where they treat you with respect and don't lie to you. Bought a car from them several months ago, not particularly impressed with the salesperson or the service, we were there about three hours even though I had already picked my car out online, kind of got the attitude they were doing us a favor by selling to us, not the other way around. Come to find out they messed up the registration and I have called twice about it with no return call, will not be buying from them again! I flew from Arizona to NH to buy a used truck from them. I had a issue on the truck on the test drive and the owner had the guys in the back look at it and reset the code. It came back on, and the owner told me take it to Ram, he would make it right, and gave me his personal phone number and told me call him if it doesn't make it there. The Ram dealership said it needed to be replaced, before I could drive home. I thought Rochester would deny it, or dodge my calls. Not only did he answer my calls he had already paid the dealership to fix it so I could get on the road. I fell he did what he said he was going to do, and he is definitely a man of his word. I would recommend buying from them, and I would buy there again. read more

Don't believe the 7 day walk away that Rochester Ford has advertised on their website. I bought a truck from this car lot my first Ford been a Chevy guy all my life. They told me I wouldn't miss the diesel sold me a 6.2l gas what a colossal mistake they told me it was a 1 ton got it home 3/4 ton. That's on me for not paying closer attention. Had it for 90 days hated this truck so went in and tried to get a diesel done. Had what I believed to be a deal done on one but Uncle Sam held up my tax return. They put the truck on my credit anyway so then I had two truck loans never took delivery of the new diesel. The they paid off my old truck I was still driving it told them I wanted out under their 7 day no questions asked no reply from the dealer. Took them 60 days to supposedly get it back right. They told me that once it was reinstated that I would need to get caught up on payments I told them no problem they reinstated the loan on my original truck I made two payments and then they slammed me with 2 late payments on my credit report it dropped 100 points. 90 days later my credit is ruined and I'm in a truck that is not a fit. This must be what they mean when they say is experience the difference! This dealer is a sham and so is the guarantee that they have on their website. I will never purchase another ford. read more

Got the buy back completed of my Ford Taurus that I bought back down in Georgia. The Ford Taurus is considered a lemon in the state I live in and the first dealership left me high and dry as it's not mandatory that a dealership has to do a buy back, but Ford Corporation was doing the buy back. The dealership sometimes does it as courtesy. Things didn't always go smoothly, but they were willing to work with me and Ford Corporation until we all got the job done. I give them a lot of credit for not sending me elsewhere and sticking with this process. Thank you Rochester Ford for doing the buy back. Great job. read more

The sales experience my husband and I had buying our new escape here a couple years ago wasn't the best. There was a definite lack of communication between the employees and us which was extremely frustrating. However, when we brought in our car in a couple days ago to get some recalls fixed, tires put on, and our radio fixed, Josh did a phenomenal job in helping us out. We felt as though he was being completely honest with us, and not trying to take advantage of us. He made the experience for us more pleasant than we thought it could be. read more

We own an auto dealership in LeRoy, MN. We took a truck into them to have them program the dash on Wed, and on thursday we picked up the truck . While driving home we noticed that the passenger side window down in the lower corner was cracked and the crack was spidering across the windshield as we drove. We called them as soon as we arrived back at the lot to let them know , and long story short, Eric in service told us, after a very lengthy conversation that they would not take responsibilty for repair as they said they didn't crack it. So we took a vehicle up without a cracked and came back with a cracked windshield and no one seems to know what happened, nor will they take care of thier mistake. Frustrating would be an understatement and to top it off, when we called to get an estimate we were told it would be 80$ and it was double what they quoted us, again, no one knows why?? Worst experience ever! Not only did they list the online price on a 2010 Nissan Maxima SV(mileage 74,282) at $12,000 then changed it within an hour to $13,000 after I emailed them I was interested. then I drove an hour one way to test drive it only to find a salesman that made me and my wife walk around the entire HUGE area LOOKING for the car by pressing the lock button on the remote to find it and could not even locate it! LAME! THEN after 15 more minutes he finds the car ...which was just what i was looking for by the way and we go to test drive it and they lied about the mileage!!!! It had over 91,000 miles and they didn't even apologize or offer me a discount of ANY kind for all my trouble and the misinformation on the correct mileage. So unprofessional! The salesman could care less didn't even offer to find me something else to test and said thanks anyway to me! WOW! REALLY? i will make sure to tell everyone about my experience and to go elsewhere for ANY vehicle. Horrible customer service and uninformed sales people! I wouldn't spend $1 at this dealership!
