I've been getting gel manicures for years and have a problem with my nails bending and cracking below the quick. They recommended dip manicure and it lasted 7 weeks without cracking. Okay, I don't type much at this point but still...amazing results. I just never thought to try dip before. I could have gone years more never realizing dip was a better option for me. Today Tai worked very hard to get me the shape I wanted. A pet peeve of mine is when my nails aren't uniformly filed. Gel or dip is going to cover some filing inconsistencies but I feel my nails hold their shape better over time when they're filed uniformly from the start. My biggest disappointment was the polish selection process. I was hoping to browse all of the OPI and DND colors, but instead I was handed a generic color book, which made it difficult to choose the shade I wanted. I also wasn't a huge fan of having my builder gel manicure started while I was still getting my pedicure. It felt a little awkward and unstable trying to do both at the same time, and I would have preferred to finish one service before starting the next. Overall, the salon was a solid option and met my needs while I'm away from home. It was a good experience, and I'd consider returning if I needed another appointment while in town.

She was busy getting her own Pedicure by another employee! My Signature Deluxe pedicure was disappointing. Quick scrub of heel, quick rub of legs stopping several times to check her own pedi. She completes my polish and instructs me to the Mani seat while she disappears to the back. I carry my purse, water , shoes and fumble to pull out my seat. Kim completes my Gel Manicure with a drop of lotion which she dry rubs only to my hands. Kim disappears again and I attempt to get more lotion for my hands & forearms but the dispenser was completely Empty..when she returns I ask for lotion and she hands me a dispenser from another station and walks away to get hot towels. I was done with both "services" at 11:05 am but I had to ask to stay so my toes could dry. it was NOT acceptable "service"

I'm so disappointed to say that today I've experienced the worst pedicure of my life. I had a 4:00pm appointment that I booked online. The technician that I had was very young, kept calling me "bro", and was literally playing a video game on his phone while he was giving me a pedicure! I had yellow polish on my toes from the last pedicure I had here. The technician was scrubbing them with a tool and I told him that it was regular polish, not shellac. He said I know, and kept going over them with this metal tool, which was a little painful. Then he cut my toenails with the polish still on, removed the polish, and barely filed my toenails. He tried scrubbing my feet awkwardly, which was very ticklish so he just stopped. Then he took some water out of the foot bath and put it all over my legs and rubbed them down with a scrub and then removed it. I received no lotion, and then he placed hot towels on each of my feet. The technician said that something bit him and went into the back room for a while. When he returned he was playing the game on his phone. I felt like I was in a Seinfeld episode. There were no other customers or employees working when I received my pedicure which was strange because they are usually busy and it was only 4:00. When the nail tech painted my toenails it was very rushed, he barely let the base coat dry and he began applying the polish. I've included pictures so you can see the terrible paint job, my dry feet and yellow nail polish still visible from my last appointment. I also have a rash from the aggressive scrubbing. I let the polish dry under one of the dryers but it was hard to see the details due to dim lighting. When I got out to my car in the sun I was very disappointed. My feet were much better off BEFORE this pedicure.

Before I could even tell him how long I wanted my nails, he started cutting and took off a huge chunk. By the time I realized what was happening, they were already way too short. I booked my appointment expecting long/XL nails, and I ended up with nails that aren't even medium length. On top of that, he had a very heavy hand and never communicated with me. He didn't ask me to place my hands anywhere or explain what he needed and he just grabbed, pushed, and moved my hands around the entire appointment. It felt like I was being manhandled instead of treated like a customer. After everything, I explained to the woman at the front that my nails were much shorter than what I had booked. She changed my service from long/XL to small/medium, which made sense. But then I was still charged an extra $5 for "extra length." Extra length... where? The nail quality was genuinely great, but the experience was upsetting. Communication matters. Please let your clients tell you the length they want before cutting, and treat their hands with more care and respect.
