    Classic Burger
    Yurie H.

Colorful beer pub with lots of spacious and sic rock music. My fiancé and I came here for the Wednesday burger deal ($7.99 for Oklahoma or classic burger). happy hour is 3-6 PM on weekdays so we made it to that as well. We sat at the one of the tables, good amount of TVs, bar seating, and outdoors. Not sure if they were low on staff but took 15 min to get our server. We ordered the classic burger, hazy ipa, sweet potato fries, and purple rain donut dessert. For $7.99 burger was generous in size. Very beefy and bread was soft, a little too greasy for me but overall hearty and filling. My fiances sweet potato fries were amazing, not overly salty or greasy and it was fun waffle shaped. Purple rain was crispy not too big and a great sweet treat at the end! Wish the inside was berry than chocolate filling. Overall solid place for HH. Would love to come to taco Tuesday my next visit!

Hubby and I were on the road and we were desperately hungry and needed food. Without yelping the place, we took a leap of faith and ordered blindly over the phone. We got two burgers, southwest egg rolls, sweet potatoes waffle fries, and regular fries to go for $52. They put all of our sauces in a separate container and they made sure to include them all: ketchup, mayo, mustard, and chipotle aioli sauce. Everything tasted delicious and they were fast this Friday, late afternoon.

Chill spot for lunch. Worth to come just for the vibes! Kids can have fun too at the play place

Beer Flight - You can customize!!!

First time visiting this location in Tustin. We came with our daughter and son-in-law and granddaughter. Terrific atmosphere for adults but also for kids. They have a playground area outside that was the center point for the young at heart. We enjoyed the bone in and boneless wings with Thai Chili sauce that was just the right heat - Not over the top. Love the huge number of beers on tap and the fact that you can customize your beer flight with any of the beers listed and not a select list. Our server Bryce was awesome who came by numerous times to check in on us and refill drinks. The place is great for families with kids and also for adults. We will definitely come back when in town.

Went to rock and brews for the first time for a get together with fellow dads for an organization I am a part of and couldn't have been more pleased with the food, beer list and ambiance. I had some amazing short rib tacos and a few lagers and was impressed to seee a large indoor and heated outdoor seating area as well as some TVs to take in sporting events. The one thing I would critique would be the service as they appeared significantly short staffed for a weekend service and it delayed our large party receiving both our food and drinks. I have been a server in a few previous jobs and they lost track of orders and took way too much time to get food and drink to its proper place. I did love the pastries that we received to make up for them not having the cinnamon girl pudding as part of yelp coupon. Delicious and so large I had to split with 3 others

I really liked this place. My wife and kids all liked the food and it came out pretty quickly. Service was great and I'd probably eat that burger again. We got the sweet and spicy boneless wings to start and those were a hit. My son and I got the gastropub burger and we both killed it. Fries were also good. My wife and son both got the shrimp pasta and thought it was great. Great atmosphere and decor. Like a much cooler Hard Rock Cafe.

Rock & Brews epitomizes the family restaurant but with a rock 'n' roll twist. According to their website, their "founders have a natural appreciation for Rock 'n' Roll music, an affinity for craft beer, and a desire for classic comfort food." I've visited a number of times with the fam and I can vouch for the restaurant being kid friendly. The Tustin location has a play area which is perfect if you have young children. The kids can play while their parents throw back a few cold ones! I appreciate all the rock 'n' roll themed decor and album covers, so check out the art displayed on the walls and ceiling next time you visit. Service is friendly and attentive. On my most recent visit, I ordered a smash burger and upgraded my side to a Caesar salad. It wasn't the best smash burger I've had, but it was tasty nonetheless. I washed down my meal with a Franziskaner which they had on draft. Rock & Brews has a legit tap list and they also serve wine and "rocktails". They even have a happy hour! Pro Tip: I recommend calling in before you visit to see if there are any special events being held on-site. We showed up once for a kid's birthday party and there was a School of Rock performance happening at the same time. Good music, but it was difficult to carry a conversation due to how loud it was and none of us brought ear plugs.

I do love the atmosphere here. It is so unique. As a musician I really appreciate the rock band motif and decor all throughout the place. It's also great that this place just gives a ver patriotic vibe and it is dog friendly! The servers are always great and accommodating The food however, is very average in my opinion. In the past I have had their pulled pork sandwich, chipotle glazed wings, 3 street tacos on Taco Tuesday. All of which were very average. I love pulled pork sandwiches everywhere I go, but it was very dry and the sauce was not that good. The wings were OK, but much better at places like BJ's. The 3 taco plate was not enjoyable at all Today I had the turkey club sandwich. This was delicious. My kid had the chicken Caesar which again was below average. Kid told me the chicken was dry and the croutons were stale. My kid and I frequent this place because we get BOGO free entree coupon in the mail every month. Otherwise, I honestly don't think we would come that often. If there was a big football game on, I can picture myself coming to enjoy the company. But aside from that, if there was no coupon... I do think they are a bit understaffed as well. Every time we have come we have had to wait a while before getting seated. And this is when the place is a bit empty.

The combo pizza with caramelized onions - Delish!

It was just too hot to cook tonight so we took the fam out for a TGIF dinner! The place was crazy busy - the front staff seemed a little discombobulated so there were several groups waiting to be seated. I think there were just too many people at the front, so we kept getting asked how many people in our group, then we'd just wait. Once seated, we ordered some nachos as an appetizer right away (we got it meatless this time) - they were delicious! I'm thinking we must have been starving because I didn't get a chance to take a picture of them before we devoured them! The chips were light, the cheese sauce was really good (& that's coming from a girl who doesn't usually like cheese sauce) - and all the toppings were really good. We all really enjoyed them!! Like I mentioned, the restaurant was really busy, and our waitress, Elena, was running around to all her tables she was waiting on - we had a little bit of a wait at the beginning, but then once she was able to get our orders, things moved along real smoothly. Elena checked in with us periodically, cleared our dirty plates, and if we needed anything, she got it as soon as she could. We enjoyed her enthusiasm and friendliness! Everyone enjoyed their meals. A couple of us got the combo pizza, then we also got fish and chips, chicken sandwich, and beet salad. All of our meals were really good! And we ended the meal with their delicious s'mores dessert. We could have probably used more graham crackers - I'm sure they would have given us some if we asked for them, but we were getting full so we didn't ask. We like that their outside patio is jjkpup friendly! And our pups really like the menu. This is one of our favorite spots to have dinner with the pups!

This place is pretty good. The food is flavorful and has a nice touch. The service is great, the people are friendly and kind. The ambiance is a little cold but I do like the big windows and the music videos playing. Overall, I recommend giving it a try. They also have a nice outdoor area. The beer selection is nice too.

I am here for LFC-ManU and the atmosphere is electric. Unfortunately the service is anything but. The first male server took our drink order and our card to start a tab, and we also asked for a menu. He did not return. At the end of the first half, we flagged down a female server and told her what happened. She took our drink order and said she would return with menus. She never came back. We finally saw the first server towards the end of the match and told him we never got our drinks. He came back 10 minutes later with only one of our drinks, a coffee, and forgot the rest. Still no menus. I was thinking maybe it was because we were seated in the patio, but there so many other tables with food and drinks on them. I've been here for dinner several times and had no issues. So maybe the staff as overwhelmed with the morning crowd. Next time I'll bring my own food and drinks since they won't notice anyways.

I had high hopes going to the Dodgers vs. Yankees World Series game, but my experience was ruined by a truly disgusting surprise. Halfway through my nachos, I found an old, chewed-up, what looked like a hot sauce cap buried under the toppings. It was filthy, and who knows how long it had been sitting there! I lost my appetite immediately. I expected at least a basic level of cleanliness and quality control. This completely ruined my experience, and I'll think twice before buying food here again.

The dessert is why I came, I tried the Alice cooper spicy burger. I ate most of it but wouldn't order again not my favorite item. My main complaint is I sat at the front for a solid like 10 mins before someone came to help me be seated. This occurred with other guests as I was witnessing too. Not sure if this store is short staffed but it was hard to "wait" to be seated when it was slow and it basically looked like I came in before they opened. If it wasn't for the fact people outside were dining I'd of thought "maybe I came too early" One of the managers came and refilled my drink she was by the bathroom with someone else on a computer. My server changed before my meal was over. I basically was served by 3 different people over the course of my meal. Still like the decor, food was good, but customer service and hospitality was a bit below par. I've been to 3 other locations and sadly Tustin I don't think I'll be returning to in the future

Halfway through, they decided to switch the main TV and all the audio over to a Kid Rock special instead. It felt unnecessarily political and completely ruined the experience for me and many others who ended up leaving because of it. Note on the staff: I want to make sure the staff isn't blamed for this. I've been coming here off and on for 5 years, and the bartenders have always been excellent. After our party of six chatted over cocktails and preyed on pupus, we moved to a "secret" room tucked in the back of Stowaway and walked into a Belly Of The Beast. The founders and co-owners of Stowaway, Leonard Chan and Dominic Iapello, created this extension to the tiki bar with a wildly interesting Pinocchio theme and the famed encounter with Monstro the whale all the while serving the same offerings in Stowaway but with also an exclusive limited menu just for this adventure. With its proximity to Disneyland and its Enchanted Tiki Room, with the very niche underground-like society of tiki culture they found a consistent customer base and the thrill of island escapism through colorful cocktails, pleasurable pupus, tropical trimmings, and nostalgic know-how. How would my belly handle the beastly drinks concocted here!? PURCHASE(S) Gepetto's Last Words ($16.00): Intrigued by the cocktail's name, this elixir was crafted with Fid Street Gin, tangerine, creme de violette, lemon, and cucumber, it was a citrusy refreshing sweet drink that was decorated with bright yellow petals. It was nice, but for whatever reason it just didn't quite hit the spot. [ONION RINGS/STRAWS/STRINGS ALERT - 4.0 of 5.0 STARS] Onion Rings ($9.00): A decent portion with rings of medium to large sizes, these were hot, dark golden browned, crunchy, and had a slight tendency to crumble when bitten into while the onion ring (sweet Maui!) rarely pulled out at times. They were lightly oily while the catsup wasn't needed but used. SERVICE While in Stowaway, we informed our male server to let us know when we were allowed to enter the belly. Once inside and situated, we had the place and bartender to ourselves. After we all perused the menu, we placed our orders, and everything arrived within ten minutes. The rest of the time was spent chatting, picture taking, and our bartender checked in on us also giving a Dole Whip taster. All was casual, chill, and somewhat on island time - aloha and mahalo! PARKING (FREE): They shared a medium-sized private lot with several other businesses who were closed at this time with plenty of spots - 'nuff said. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE "Hidden" inside Stowaway which was located within a strip mall, the entire theme was based on the Pinocchio story, the interlude in time spent inside Monstro, and as we entered it felt like the beginning of the Disneyland "Storybook" ride as you road a canal boat into the mouth and sharp teet of a whale. There were several marionettes (appropriate and non-appropriate) that hung from the ceiling and belly walls, along with other Disneyesque memorabilia, a few sitting booths, and a tiny bar at the end of the roo. No natural lighting whatsoever while an assortment of extremely low-lit electric lights and table candles glowed. There were no TVs while I couldn't recall any background music. ATTIRE Although I was actually dressed appropriately for the occasion in an aloha shirt, linen pants, and flip-flops, this place was totally casual, so a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops would suffice. OVERALL Belly Of The Beast was an adventurous fun evening with friends, it left me feeling childlike with the need to watch "Pinocchio", and I couldn't wait to return to try more of their awesome-soundling elixirs. I generally loved all-things Disneyana, and this new wrinkle, albeit probably not approved by the mouse ears brass, caught my fancy. My one drink was tasty but just didn't hit the right spot, the onion rings were very good, the prices were a tad elevated, the atmosphere was awesome, and the service was friendly and professional. They had an extremely limited menu, and there was some doubt whether or not ordering from the Stowaway menu was an option. Plus, I always preferred to support small local mom & pop businesses. I found very good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $27.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 4.0 STARS

Last night, however, I noticed a significant change that concerned me. Instead of having the live band perform earlier in the evening, a DJ played first and the band performed much later. Many people, including myself, came specifically to enjoy the live band, and the new format seemed confusing to much of the crowd. As I observed throughout the evening, very few people were dancing during the DJ set. Most guests remained seated, looking uncertain about the change. In addition, some of the music selections and volume level felt inappropriate for a venue that attracts so many families with young children. I noticed several children covering their ears, and many parents appeared uncomfortable. From my perspective, Hangar 24's customer base is largely made up of families. Those families purchase food, drinks, and often stay for several hours while their children enjoy the outdoor space. By scheduling the live band later in the evening, many parents are forced to leave before the performance begins because their children are tired or it is simply too late for a family outing. If the goal is to attract a younger nightlife crowd, a better approach might be to have the live band perform earlier in the evening when families are present and then transition to a DJ later at night for guests who prefer that atmosphere. This would allow both audiences to enjoy the venue without alienating the families who have supported Hangar 24 for years. I am sharing this feedback because I genuinely enjoy coming to Hangar 24 and want to see it continue to succeed. I believe many guests share these concerns, and I hope management will carefully consider how these changes may impact the loyal family customer base that has helped make Hangar 24 such a popular destination. Thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely, A Concerned Customer

My wife and I recently stopped by in here and we were craving barbecue. We've lived in Tustin for a…read morewhile and never wanted to try it since we don't normally crave bbq. Little did we know we were pleasantly surprised. We did the 2 meat combo - tri tip and smoked briskets. They were out of burnt ends otherwise we would have done the three meat combo. For our sides, we did the sweet potato and the corn. The meat was very tender, and we really enjoyed it with the several different sauces they provided! On a different occasion, the waitress had mentioned they had one dollar wings and we came back the following week and we order a good amount of wings and we really enjoyed them because they were smoked! We really enjoyed our meals!

Got the 2 meat combo: 1/2 chicken and brisket for the meats and bbq beans and coleslaw for the…read moresides. I also got mac n cheese and cornbread as additional sides. Chicken was tender, nothing mindblowing tbh but good solid chicken, would get again. Brisket was wayyy too fatty, I think it's the fattiest brisket I've ever had. Sure it's tender and juicy but I could distinctly feel all the fat I was chewing which was unappealing. All the sides were pretty solid, none were outstanding but all good enough I'd get again if I'm craving it. Out of all the bbq sauces, I liked eating with the spicy one and sweet one together. They seem to have a lot of good deals throughout the week so I'm def gon try to stop by again to try more menu items.
