Great spot to grab some wine! My husband and I shared a wine flight and a charcuterie board. After the flight we ordered our own glass of wine we liked. Some of their food items sounded good too, I'll have to come back a next time! The wines were light and flavorful. My favorite was the Rosé. Our server was very knowledgeable in telling us about the wines and where they came from. They also have happy hour daily which is a plus! The charcuterie board was delicious and came with quite a lot to share for a reasonable price too. We had a nice time drinking wine, talking and snacking. We'll be back for live music and more wine!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Amazing food, best wine selection & romantic ambiance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This wine bar is my local favorite! Discovered it through my local silent book club and now I can't get enough. Sarah is the absolute sweetest and will guide you into your perfect selection. [[HIGHLIGHT]]As a complete invert, I definitely feel at home here.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Don't be afraid to ask for suggestions and ORDER THE CHICKEN POT PIE!

My husband got booked to play some live music at this place and we went to check out this cute little wine bar. It's very nice place and they have one side of wine and one side of coffee. The place is cozy and the service is great, especially Sarah! She is the person who seems doing everything for this place; she is very professional, nice and supportive to the musician. We ordered some wine and food to enjoy our night with some live music. The food was very good and portion was also great for the price. Kids are welcome too!

While I've been to the Lost Bean, the coffee/cafe part of the building many times, this is my first going to the Lost Vine. They have a nice selection of wines, and some beers which are better priced during happy hour. The server was nice and helpful and checked on us throughout our time. The charcuterie board was great as well as the wine we had which was yet to be featured on the menu. There was also live music. Unfortunately the wine flight that should normally be offered wasn't during happy hour, hoping to come back to try the flight!

Tucked away in Olde Town Tustin is the Lost Vine, right next to the Lost Bean coffee shop. I had a very pleasent experience while looking for a place to get some work done. I lucked out with Happy Hour and decided to enjoy a glass of the Arrowood red wine with the tasty Short Rib Raviolli. They are small plates, and will take about two per person to fill up on, but as a light snack or pairing with a great glass of wine, it's the perfect size. The barkeep, Sarah, was friendly, welcoming, and told me all about their specials along with her recommendation for plate/wine pairs. I recommend if you're looking for a place to dive into a book or laptop with a glass of wine (or coffee from the shop next door). On a Friday night, it wasn't too crowded or wild. The perfect atmosphere, with subtle classic rock playing in the background.

Skip avocado hummus. Yes on bacon wrapped dates.

The wine was good but the appetizers, not so great. Went for happy hour on a Wednesday night and there was only one other party there. My two girlfriends and I ordered the bacon wrapped dates, avocado hummus, cheese & charcuterie board, and the arugula salad with chicken. The bacon wrapped dates were my favorite. The blue cheese was not overpowering and the dates weren't too sweet. Overall, good balance and I would order again. The avocado hummus and charcuterie board were underwhelming and I wouldn't reorder these. The arugula salad was really good and there were generous portions of the chicken we added to the dish. This was the most popular dish between the three of us. Maybe I'm just spoiled by my favorite wine bar (Twisted Vine in Fullerton) with its amazing brie bowl and wider food selection. I'd go back just for happy hour wine but wouldn't go out of my way to go.

The bartender dropped off the happy hour oysters with a glass of sparkling wine and some olive juice (to go on your oysters) which I thought was a nice touch. The ahi tuna poke tacos were very lightly seasoned and tasted fresh. The Kobe beef sliders were so juicy and had good flavor to it without being too much. Bartenders Noelle and Garrett were very attentive and great at making you feel welcomed at the bar. Inside of the restaurant is a bit on the dark and old school style rather than modern, but I didn't mind that at all. My only comment is that they leave the door open by the bars to the cigar patio so the smoke smell was a bit much at times.

The ambiance alone makes it feel like a whole experience, not just drinks. We tried a few of their specialty cocktails, all super well done, but the real highlight was our server John. He was amazing -- attentive, fun, and clearly knows his drinks. At one point he made us an off-menu cocktail that was STRONG (in the best way) and honestly one of my favorites of the night. And the attention to detail?? He even let me borrow his hat for photos so I could fully commit to the camping aesthetic 10/10 for the vibes. Overall: such a cute, unique spot for a night out. When booking, I had the option of dining , chef's table, or patio seating. I specifically chose the dining since my daughter loves creating content, and the indoor ambiance is absolutely beautiful for photos. The hostess seated us on the patio, and I mentioned that I had selected dining. I was told that seating is based on first availability, which was a little disappointing, especially since the restaurant is right on the water and by 7:30 PM it was getting pretty chilly. While they do have heaters outside, sitting in gusty winds with the smell of gas (especially after a fresh trip to the hairdresser!) just wasn't ideal. My daughter went back to the car to grab a blanket. Thankfully, the hostess noticed my discomfort and came back shortly after saying, "Donna, we have another table further down that's out of the wind and under a heat lamp." That small gesture made a big difference, and honestly, that's when the experience started to turn around. From there, things only got better. When our entrées arrived, our waiter Nick realized we had never received our appetizers. Without hesitation, he assured us he would make it right, and he absolutely did. He brought out a selection of cheeses for us to sample, which led to us ordering a caviar bump paired with champagne (highly recommend!). To top it all off, he surprised my daughter with olive cake and fresh berries to celebrate her birthday. Such a thoughtful touch. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. Not just because the food was amazing, but because of the attention to detail and how seriously they take the overall dining experience. Parking is available in a nearby garage, and they validate the first 90 minutes, which is a nice bonus.

Yesterday, I came here for my birthday lunch with my mom after she made a reservation, and honestly, I wish we had just gone somewhere else. We sat down right at our 1:00 reservation and then waited 35 minutes just to get a drink menu. Not food. Not to order. Just the menu for drinks. After we finally ordered, the champagne showed up about 20 minutes later. It was served in wine glasses, which feels like basic wine bar knowledge, but apparently not here. When we asked to switch them to champagne glasses, the waiter brought out smaller wine glasses. Not exactly good etiquette for a place that leans so heavily on its bar concept. The whipped ricotta appetizer came out even later, around the 65 minute mark. As an appetizer. It was fine, probably the best thing we had, but "fine" after that kind of wait is not a positive. From there, everything just dragged. It took almost an hour for my mom's meatballs to come out, and when they did, they were raw. Not slightly underdone. Fully pink in the middle. She sent them back and was so turned off she didn't even want to eat anything else. I ordered a salad and specifically asked for light dressing. What I got was the opposite. It was drenched in a thick, heavy dressing that made the whole thing borderline inedible and the lettuce soggy. After our food, I tried to order drip coffee, which they didn't have, so I settled for an Americano. I asked for warm cream, which I've had done at plenty of places, and somehow it came out clotted. If you know anything about coffee, that shouldn't happen. At this point, we had been there for over two and a half hours. For a salad, an appetizer, and four raw meatballs. The server was very nice and doing his best with being busy. BUT, the overall operation felt completely disorganized and untrained. We weren't the only ones either. The couple next to us was also complaining after waiting 40 minutes just to order breakfast items. To make it even better, parking is only comped for 90 minutes. So because of their slow service, we ended up paying for parking on top of overpriced, underwhelming food. What should have been a 45 minute lunch turned into a 2.5 hour ordeal. The bathroom also wasn't clean either time I went, which pretty much sums up the lack of attention to detail across the board. The only slightly redeeming part was the crème brûlée, which was... fine. Not amazing. Just fine. It's a pretty space. I'll give them that. But that's about where the positives end. The food is not good, the timing is unacceptable, and the whole experience feels like Instagram style over quality and substance. Definitely not worth the money, and not somewhere I'd ever go back to.

After a farewell dinner to/at Gulliver's Prime Ribs Of Beef, our party of six continued the evening several miles away at Stowaway for some light bites and libations. Personally, I was all about the Hawaiiana tiki culture and tried to live it every day. Founded by co-owners Leonard Chan and Dominic Iapello, its current home of barely three years in a former dive bar came about when they unceremoniously had to leave the original location. With its proximity to Disneyland's Enchanted Tiki Room and the very niche underground-like society of tiki culture, they found their footing with a consistent customer base and the thrill of island escapism through colorful cocktails, pleasurable pupus, and tropical trimmings. Would I stow myself away somewhere inside and never leave!? PURCHASE(S) Don Q Punch Bowl ($38.00): Made with Don Q's Cristal Silver, Anejo, and 151 Gold Rums, respectively, peach brandy, passion fruit, pineapple juice, and citrus juices, this flaming concoction was rumtastic in every way possible as the tropical juices just made it that much sweeter. There were more ice chips than I liked, but it was a fun trough to drink out of for the four of us who wanted to imbibe. Coconut Shrimp 6pc ($12.00): Breaded and flash-fried plump shrimp served with a sweet chili dipping sauce, these were tasty and perfectly paired with the Don Q cocktail I was drinking. Stowaway Fries ($17.00): Constructed with a pile of crisp golden spud sticks, rum braised pork, and topped with a hearty gravy and sunny-side up egg, this loco moco fries dish was slamming while the slightly charred juicy pork had me squealing with enjoyment. SERVICE We had reservations, so once our entire party arrived, they quickly seated us in a cool cave-live separate alcove for more privacy. Our server arrived with menus, suggestions, and glasses of water. Minutes later, we all ordered at once, and everything (drinks and food) arrived within ten minutes. Because we had another reservation inside the same bar, we informed our male server and to let us know when we were allowed to go there. All was casual, chill, and somewhat on island time - aloha and mahalo! PARKING (FREE): They shared a medium-sized private lot with several other businesses who were closed at this time with plenty of spots - 'nuff said. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE Located within a strip mall, you opened the front door and walked into an island oasis as if you were a cast member on "Gilligan's Island" with thatched roof material above you, tiki statues displaced on all of the volcanic-looking walls, collections of tiki mugs past and present for purchase, a central square bar with plenty of stools, and seemingly small dark nooks and private spaces where naughty things could happen. No natural lighting whatsoever while an assortment of extremely low-lit electric lights barely guided you along. There were no TVs while I recalled various styles of music played in the background along with chatter and clamor of conversations in all directions. ATTIRE Although I was actually dressed appropriately for the occasion in an aloha shirt, linen pants, and flip-flops, this place was totally casual, so a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops would suffice. OVERALL I had a cowabunga time at Stowaway, and I couldn't wait to return to try more of their awesome-soundling elixirs. I loved tiki bars, and although this was generally out of my range, I'd make a special trip or two here. My one drink was lip-smacking good, the pupus were yummy, the prices were reasonable enough, the atmosphere was stupendous, and the service was friendly and professional. While the drinks menu was loaded with tropical cocktails, an impressive rum selection, and a decent assortment of local craft beers, the food menu was somewhat limited. And, the bar had happy hour TU-FR 4pm-6pm. Plus, I always preferred to support small local mom & pop businesses. I found complete value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $75.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 5.0 STARS
