I couldn't find any clear resources on how to fix this myself, and local tailors said they couldn't handle luggage repair, but recommended asking a cobbler. I found Mr Shine on Google and called ahead to see if they repair luggage, and then dropped off the next day. I was informed that they could try to replace the slider & pull, but that it may not be possible given some damage to the zipper, and they would keep me updated. Because they were unsure of the possible repair, I didn't have to pay anything at drop off (I really appreciated their transparency!). I got a call a few days later that the suitcase was fixed, and they were able to do the cheaper option after all. At pickup, the zipper teeth were straight, there was a leather reinforcement added to the end of the track, and the slider and pull were new and moved around smoothly. Their team is clearly skilled at what they do, especially for a repair that seemingly no other business wants to touch! They have beautiful handmade shoes on display in the store as well. The staff were kind and helpful both in person and over the phone. Definitely recommend for shoe, luggage, handbag repair & more!

I couldn't find the correct size and color, but the proprietor took time to look for what I needed, found them and gave them to me. Yes, GAVE. While I entered the store as a return customer, I can confidently say that I'll keep returning for all my shoe services and fully recommend this shop to anyone in need of shoe repair or a friendly face.

Drive 20min to Longmont's redwing or anywhere else within a 20mi radius if you have questions before you spend hundreds on boots. Also these are the people Redwing has authorized to sell and service their products in the area. I wouldn't trust the people who run this store to organize a Sunday picnic, let alone run a business. To be clear you are much better off ordering any Redwing products online and researching it yourself. The store is staffed with young associates that can't help much and the system has "been down" so transactions are on paper and with carbon copies. Hope you don't have to order or return anything that is on back order.

Went in today to drop off the boots. $110. A classic bait and switch, which is illegal. No offer to honor the quote or even meet me halfway and I was in a bind and had no time to shop around. I would never recommend. I took a pair of boots in a couple months ago and the service was…read morehorrible. When I retrieved my boots, one of the shoe laces had been cut and was tied back together... Not only that, but there were other parts of the shoe lace which looked purposely worn down. The leather and an eyelet had been cut into as well; I suspect there was a slip of a tool which cut the shoelace and the shoe leather. The other shoe was fine. I told the man who was there, whom I assume to be the owner, that the shoelaces were never broken and were not worn out when I brought them in. I tried to use logic and compare the worn shoelace to the unworn shoelace on the other boot. He argued with me, claiming that I must have taken them hiking and broke the shoe lace. When I told him that I do not take these boots hiking, he then told me I must have tripped off of a sidewalk to ruin the laces. He then tried to sell me laces from the store. When I wore the shoes, I noticed the insides to be warped. After a week of wearing the "repaired" shoes, the heels started to come apart again. I understand mistakes happen, but this was a poorly done job and I was lied to. Please save your loved shoes by going elsewhere.

I turned that down and asked them to just complete the basic cleaning for the other pair of boots which cost me $10. They said it would be ready in a week and they would call when it's ready. A week and a half later I still hadn't heard anything so I called to inquire and I got a rude response for not having my ticket on hand for the store owner to retrieve the boots. Overall, I was unimpressed with the customer service and communication on their behalf. I couldn't believe the attitude I was getting for THEIR mistake of not calling me in the first place. The shoes were cleaned fine (not great) but I will not be taking any of my items back there, nor do I recommend anyone else to do so.
