Extreme shoe repair is my go to for any shoe repair. They were timely and did an amazing job! I am so stoked on my resoled shoes and i honestly didn't think there would be more life in these shoes, but they feel brand new. I like their old school vibe - little bit rocknroll and just direct to the point. Highly recommended!

My gorgeous, shined and repaired stilettos.

These guys are amazing. I'm here from out of town to do a talk. The talk is at 1:30, and my stiletto broke at 11:30. One of my local friends brought me to the store to see if they could repair it in time. I was sure they say no. But they said they could do it, and even did it early. My heels are now rock solid and I'm ready to kill my presentation. Could not be more grateful for their kindness and excellence. Oh, and they even shined them! Who does that? Don't they look pretty?

Both the customer service & work of this place are ATROCIOUS! I was lied to, cheated, and had my boots damaged by this place, don't be like me & ignore all of the bad reviews!!! On 1/24 I brought in a pair of doc marten boots to have some of the stitching repaired, they required me to pre-pay (charged me $50) and said they would have the boots ready for pick-up on 1/28. On 1/28 I was informed that my boots were 'lost' & was told to call back the following day to check if the boots had been located. The next day I heard from a man named Pierre who said he located my boots and would have them complete in a couple of hours, he also told me I would be refunded for the troubles I had experienced. When I went in 1/29 to pick up the boots I promptly informed that I would not be receiving a refund as 'they put more time into the boots', anyway I was appalled to find that instead of stitching the leather back together (like I had specifically asked for) it was SUPER GLUED...So there i am thinking...this must be a joke...I could have done this in my garage...I asked to speak to the owner & told him I would not be accepting my boots back in the condition they were in as this is not the repair we had agreed to, he told me he would have them re-repaired that night and delivered to my house by 7pm. I gave them my address & left only to have them NOT DELIVER MY SHOES like they said they would & dodge my phone calls for the remainder of the night. I called back this morning, 1/30, to ask about my shoes & guess what...they had not been re-repaired.....am I surprised at this point? NO! They told me to come in & they would have the shoes done by 12, well I arrived at the shop around 12:30, and they were not finished, so I waited there at the shop until they were finished at 1:20 & well I'll let you see the results and judge for yourself if you'd be pleased with this outcome...because I CERTAINLY AM NOT. To me it looks like they stitched an additional piece of leather (very very shittily, worst stitching i've ever seen) to cover the section they previously superglued together, and did not in fact address the initial structural repair. BEWARE!

Amazing shoe repair on three pairs of very nice boots. Extremely fast turn around. I had a zipper pull replacement on the two tall boots that they also re soled and made shine like new (these are six year old boots now at least). I blew out the stitching in the rear on one of the doc martins so they repaired that and reheeled those too. And my timberland heels were crazy scuffed up and they look brand new too now (I've included a close up on the scuffs which are almost invisible now). My only regret is not taking a before picture. Very impressed. Will return.

Punching extra holes in my goretex boots. Bye bye water proofing

Mixed experiences here. I dealt with the owner once and he's a really nice friendly guy that was straightforward. The other guy with no/short hair is a little less pleasant. So great location, cool motorcycles, and they do what you ask. However the prices are high $18 for a lace hook and $30 for some new heels. The heels aren't a bad deal. The lace hook, a $1 piece was a terrible rip off. So the hook they put on is not the same color. Ok not a problem. However the hook the put on is not the same shape and has two rivets instead of one. So they punch a new hole into my goretex boots. Which is absolutely not ok and should've told me before fixing my boots they were going to do that. Absolutely not ok. It's pay in advance so I got suckered. Whatever. Needless to say after my second experience I won't be back. I will not however criticize their workmanship. They do the job well they only lack attention to detail/using similar parts.

New soles. These look like they'll last a long time! Before, I was sliding on the snow because the bottom of the boots were basically flat.

Flaky to say the least - but when they finally get around to fixing your shoes or your suitcase, the work is satisfactory indeed.

They did an awesome job with my Nisolo shoes. They are looking as good as new, and now are ready to hit the streets once again.

When I retrieved my boots, one of the shoe laces had been cut and was tied back together... Not only that, but there were other parts of the shoe lace which looked purposely worn down. The leather and an eyelet had been cut into as well; I suspect there was a slip of a tool which cut the shoelace and the shoe leather. The other shoe was fine. I told the man who was there, whom I assume to be the owner, that the shoelaces were never broken and were not worn out when I brought them in. I tried to use logic and compare the worn shoelace to the unworn shoelace on the other boot. He argued with me, claiming that I must have taken them hiking and broke the shoe lace. When I told him that I do not take these boots hiking, he then told me I must have tripped off of a sidewalk to ruin the laces. He then tried to sell me laces from the store. When I wore the shoes, I noticed the insides to be warped. After a week of wearing the "repaired" shoes, the heels started to come apart again. I understand mistakes happen, but this was a poorly done job and I was lied to. Please save your loved shoes by going elsewhere.

I turned that down and asked them to just complete the basic cleaning for the other pair of boots which cost me $10. They said it would be ready in a week and they would call when it's ready. A week and a half later I still hadn't heard anything so I called to inquire and I got a rude response for not having my ticket on hand for the store owner to retrieve the boots. Overall, I was unimpressed with the customer service and communication on their behalf. I couldn't believe the attitude I was getting for THEIR mistake of not calling me in the first place. The shoes were cleaned fine (not great) but I will not be taking any of my items back there, nor do I recommend anyone else to do so.

Do not bring your clock here…read more David fixed a clock for me before & I was happy. Now I am broken hearted! Before I came in I'd read someone else's review that the service of gone downhill but I figured maybe they were just impatient with the older generation....it turns out David is very knowledgeable about clocks but absolutely not able to run his business anymore. I gave him my family heirloom, a German cuckoo clock. It needed new bellows. I brought it in in August 2018. I called back every 2 to 3 weeks at David's request when he said it wasn't finished. Because he so rarely answers the phone I actually came into the store three times to check the status as well. Not done. It's been too long so I came in yesterday with a box and money to pick up the clock in whatever state it was in. Except that it wasn't. It wasn't here. My clock wasn't here... he had a cuckoo clock but what comes out of the doors of this the clock is not the same as what came out of the doors of mine. I'm kicking myself that I didn't take pictures because David said that he didn't trust young memories. I had to get my 81-year-old mother on the phone from out of state to describe what came out each door of my clock. Those pieces are not in his shop. He put it in someone else's clock or gave it to someone else who is less familiar and didn't know. Then he proceeded to pull up a cuckoo clock catalog, flipped through it and showed me that there are no cuckoo clocks with a dancer coming out the door as both my mother & I described. My family had this clock for 60 years and it went off every hour for the 22 years I lived at home. I am not misremembering. If you got a cuckoo clock from David that looks like yours on the outside but it has a yellowish bird in the left door and a dancing couple in the right door and you don't recognize those pieces, please reply to me so that we can swap pieces at my expense. I just want me memory & heirloom back. I'm heartbroken that my clock is gone. We never did find three matching weights for a cuckoo clock that fit this clock body so evidently those have been given away to someone else too. I was so irritated but try to be patient knowing that David is somebody's father and husband. He tried to give me back the pieces of my clock that he keeps in a tin foil bread loaf pan. I asked him if he could please put the contents of that cup into a baggie for me and he argued with me that a metal loaf pan is not the same as a cup. Oh brother! I paid him for the parts that he ordered ($30 for bellows) and then he insisted I shouldn't keep my claim check. I told him he didn't need to write me a receipt for the $30...and then he proceeded to argue with me for two minutes about whether or not a claim check could be considered a receipt or not. I spent 75 minutes here today in Operation Rescue My Clock. And I lost. Sadly. David has a stack of mail on the floor he's completely disorganized & he's argumentative. I wish it was different because he has a passion and good knowledge about clocks. Do not bring anything you value here!

Over a year ago Dave came to clean my parents grandfather clock. He said that it required being taken apart and taken to shop for further work. So we let him do this. After a couple months time with no word from Dave I gave him a call to see how the work was progressing. There was no answer so I left a voicemail. This went on for several months me calling no answer voicemail no return call. Finally after about nine months he picked up the phone and I asked about o'clock. He became enraged and indignant that I was concerned about the clock and his lack of communication with my parents over this family heirloom. At that time I asked that he returned the clock and we would find someone else to fix it. I would pay him for his time and effort's and my parents would get the clock back. He said he would return on the following Wednesday. That Wednesday came and went Dave never showed up never called. Again I called left messages no return calls. Now it's been over a year and I still am unable to get a hold of Dave he's not called me he's not explain why he's had the clock for so long and my mother is left wondering if she'll ever get her grandfather clock back. David's been a good mechanic for many years and I'm afraid with this last experience we will not only not go to him again but I will strongly recommend people not take valuable clocks to him to be repaired.
