A Hidden Gem with Moody Vibes & Incredible Flavor District Elleven is a total vibe--moody, modern, and tucked just off Tejon in downtown Colorado Springs. We stopped in on a Tuesday and were pleasantly surprised to find happy hour running from 4pm to close (yes, all night!). The Drink of the Week was a total standout--The Myagi Blossom, made with gin, Aperol, honey lavender, and lemon, topped with boba. Light, balanced, and not too sweet--just right. It was fun, creative, and refreshing. We sampled several small plates and honestly, they were more generous than expected. Highlights: the perfectly crispy arancini, the hummus plate (topped with caramelized onions and served with warm bread, carrots, and cucumbers--my personal favorite), patatas vovo (a delicious spin on a classic), and the artichoke de fritas, which were divine. For cocktails, the Sazerac had a bold nod to New Orleans--traditional with a whisper of absinthe that hit all the right notes. I ended the night with a dirty vodka martini served with blue cheese-stuffed olives--beautifully done. We also shared an affogato for dessert, which was the perfect finish. Service was also top-notch--our server handled both the bar and our table with ease, making us feel genuinely welcome and well cared for. This place is a gem. Whether you're just out for drinks or looking to graze and linger, District Elleven nails the ambiance, flavors, and hospitality. We'll definitely be back.

Very fun speakeasy at the back of Tbyrds. Came for a drink with friends and was impressed with the drinks! It's nice and quiet, so easy to talk to friends and felt more private than most bars. They had so many good options but I couldn't help myself and had to try the bartenders choice! You give the waitress 1 or 2 alcohols you like and any things you don't like. I said white rum or vodka and something sweet. Idk what all was in my drink but it was delicious! Sweet, fruity and strong! Really loved that idea of free range for the bartenders. Love to come back and try more drinks!

Wings were hard. Left over and put back in air fryer. Fried mushroom terrible. $34 for terrible food. Bar tender great. Drinks - ugh. Vibe great. Menu wrong on line and in bar. They need to get it together. It was so sad.

Short Version: GO TO THIS BAR IMMEDIATELY. Long Version: This bar is EASILY one of the coolest bars I have ever stepped foot in. THE WAY in which this place needs to be on EVERYONE'S itinerary when visiting the springs is an understatement. I visited with some friends on a bachelorette trip, and it's rare when a bar hits all the marks: 1) Incredible interior with floor to ceiling art you could get lost in? Check. 2) Comfy armchairs that make you want to sip expensive whiskey and inside trade? CHECK 3) Fun, social, and expert bartenders who can curate your own custom cocktail? Double Check. 4) Owners who are just as fun and welcoming, whose love and time you can see in the very artwork on the walls and antique upholstery? YUP. 5) INCREDIBLE FOOD? You got it. (We had this wonderful gnocchi with ragu and a hint of cumin and mint-- fantastic) Overall, we had such a BLAST at this place, all thanks to the incredible bartenders and owners who made us feel so welcome and provided such a fun, wonderful, and curated experience. And if you have read this far--1) thank you and 2) ... stop reading and go to this bar. Your photo library, stomach, heart, soul-- won't regret it

I had trouble finding it!! But I'm glad I did!! You can enter through the front of Tbyrdz Tacos & Tequila Bar (clear to the back... pull hard on the vault door) or through the back entrance in the alleyway. Dark, moody deco with great vintage seating options.... Group or intimate. The bartender Alex was amazing. I had the Tejon Tommy, which is a warm whiskey drink. Perfect for the freezing cold night I was experiencing this trip. I'll definitely be back to try the food.

This has got to be one of the coolest bars I've ever been too! There is so much to look at everywhere, the staff is amazing and kind, and the drinks were wonderful! I had an old fashioned and everyone in my group loved it - even those who typically would pass on whiskey. This bar has a cool peaky blinders theme and vibe to it and is a must-see!

Incredible experience. Such a neat bar with wonderful ambiance.

Lovely ambiance and atmosphere. Super neat speakeasy vibe. Popped in during happy hour to check it out.

Only one night in Colorado Springs and we definitely wanted to go downtown. We chose Mood but the kitchen was closed when we arrived. The gentleman in the front was sympathetic and suggested some places to try so we walked outside to try to find another place... I have no idea whether or not this place is a super secret and he felt bad for us or he really just forgot, but homeboy came outside running after us like an infomercial "but wait.. there's more!!" He mentioned to us there is a speak easy in the back serving up a small menu. Intrigued we decided to follow him to the back of the restaurant and down a little art filled corridor. Have you ever seen Harry Potter? He opened that door and we felt like we were in one of the house chambers! The ceiling was super high and there was all sorts of random vintage artwork high up on the walls. The place was dimly lit and had one heck of a bar. Really awesome atmosphere, I feel liked I was welcomed into an exclusive bar. The menu is limited, but they had wagu beef and charcuterie, a girl can never go wrong! I ordered wine and charcuterie. Great charcuterie plate with nuts, meat, cheese and this yummy jam and served with a toasted baguette. Fantastic service by Colby! Now everyone there are two Colby's here so make sure funny Colby knows that I sent you! Quick note: While we were seated at this sweet little table, we met a local who informed us that you can enter and exit this place from the alley (which connects to other bars and restaurants from the back of their businesses).

We were on our way out for an adventure and to try somewhere we've been wanting to check out for quite a while. The atmosphere was perfect with some great music and an amazing staff. They were on it, checking in and keeping a watchful eye for drinks and water. I had to get something to sip on from the whiskey menu, and my better half took the bartenders choice. This is a place to get out with a fellow friend who will enjoy some drinks and great conversations. The bar area was really cool with some big comfortable chairs, and some artwork and things to get lost in on the walls. 100% a new favorite that we will continue to come back too.

The speak easy was fantastic. I do have to say that the drinks were phenomenal. The Lucky Bill (Bacon washed) burboun old fashioned was without question delicious and my wife enjoyed a He Loves me not( Sweet, Light, and Delicious). I really liked the atmosphere and the staff was extremely kind and friendly. Unfortunately we were hoping for the Tapas as previously reviewed but now they feature their own full menu. We had already eaten for the evening and hoping to have a light snack while enjoying a fantastic drink but we're not ready to eat or share an entire meal again. I really feel that with the limited space; the Tapas would be a better choice especially when volume starts to increase with covid restrictions lightening.

By far one of the best cocktail bars we have ever been to. The bartenders are true mixologists and the personality of the place is super fun

Killer vibe as always. It has been almost two years since I've been here again, and man have I…read moremissed it. The crew was awesome and it's always cool to me to see how hands-on every single person on the staff is. I was super hungry so I ordered the Niçoise salad which was perfect. The vinaigrette they have is flavorful and I would put it on anything. Since I've been on a ramen kick lately I had to have the wabi-sabi ramen which I highly recommend to everyone. Drinks! I got the good luck, outlaw and it was bright, not too sweet, gingery. If you're not used to consuming turmeric this may kick start your digestion so be wary if you're going somewhere with limited restrooms. Good for the gut really means GOOD for the gut. If you've never visited this little spot, don't be afraid to try something you may have not heard of. Shuga's is avant-garde dining, with a menu of all different kind of items that somehow still co-exist without sacrificing flavor, but still shows love to that menu item's traditional style. When you go there, you'll know what I mean. Have fun!

The weather was beautiful so we took advantage of the outdoor seating. The menu featured some delicious and unique items. I opted for the bruschetta & soup combo. The coconut shrimp soup was my absolutely fave! So so good! The bruschetta were hit or miss for me, I liked the goat cheese with grape but the salmon I wish had more flavor. Overall we enjoyed the meal & some great lattes too! An awesome spot to start the morning at.
