I have came here often. I really love their crispy crème cheese wontons they are absolutely delicious. A great way to start your meal. I typically get the stirfry rice. The combination that comes with the beef, chicken and shrimp. My wife always get some form of sushi which, according to her is always good. I have had two experiences here, with varying degrees of service. The first was a lunchtime stop in. Service was great, food was good, but sushi could have been wrapped tighter, and was falling apart. I took my husband a few days later and service was subpar. We both enjoyed the food, but it was fairly expensive for such an informal experience. We've had sushi in Japan so our benchmark is a bit broken. We will probably stop in again from time to time, but it won't be our go-to, despite being very convenient for us. We have been fans of this restaurant. Until this year. Twice now it has been over run with children. Loud. In constant motion. Complained last night to the bartender and she said there was nothing they could do. A few months ago the exact thing. One girl even doing cartwheels . We are adults paying adult beverage and food prices. Our grandchildren would never be allowed to behave in this manner. Prices have been raised and the experience lowered. We are never going back. And will tell our friends accordingly. And to the owners, do not come back with some "trite" "I'm sorry". Both of these experiences were terrible for the staff and valid paying customers. This is my go-to place for sushi near work. I've found a lot of sushi I like here so I'm always excited for an excuse to eat here. They also have some coupons for dining in through their Facebook page so be sure to check that out! I liked the sauces that came with the appetizer sampler. I think the dark sauce was maybe eel sauce. I didn't like it as much as the other two sauces though, the chili paste and the sriracha mayo (I think). I attached pictures from my first time here versus my most recent time here, they've gone significantly downhill. The rolls have gotten significantly shorter and they've started making them extremely wide. It's weird for sushi to be this way because the point is to eat it in one bite. Are used to be a regular, because the sushi used to be really good, but it just isn't holding up. They changed the salmon roll to have the rice on the inside, which isn't a big deal, but they also made it way shorter. You're getting a lot less salmon now, and almost no avocado even though it's an extra charge. I really wish I could recommend this place still, because I genuinely loved them when I first started going, and I love that it's locally owned, but you're better off going elsewhere if you want Japanese food. I've tried the sushi and the hibachi options, and none of it has been as good as other places. The sushi used to be the best in the area, but at this point it's definitely not. I'll update if I decide to try it again and they fix this. Editing to respond: the issue isn't the rolls, it's totally possible I've gotten the bagel roll with fresh salmon instead, but sushi isn't supposed to be too big to eat in one bit, super short, or burnt. read more

Decided to grab some sushi after Sunday mass with a friend and came here. Service was very good, the sweet lady with glasses was quick to greet us and gave great recommendations. I ordered a classic Spicy Sushi roll. Keep in mind these rolls are Giant and very filling! Great taste and quick to come out as well. The restaurant itself is crazy! It's Monday, and it's Valentine's Day - our favorite Hallmark holiday of the year, and we are ready to plow into some grub. The tiny humans had a hankering for some sushi, and the grown humans gladly acquiesce. The boy child seems to have an interesting affection for Rock n Roll sushi, and an interesting new love for sushi in general. Let's start with the good. As previously mentioned, it's Valentine's Day, and we were able to walk into a table at 6:30P. It was relatively busy, but no wait and a couple open tables. Then, Monday, kids eat free - super double bonus, and that's where good things took a sharp left turn into uncharted waters. To start with, I watched no less than 3 tables (from my corner vantage point) be seated and have drinks delivered prior to even getting our drink order taken. Then even longer to get our order taken. To be fair, I did tell the server that she can grab our neighbor table's food for them prior to taking our order, so I'm not entirely faulting that. Then, the food. Just, no. The fried rice was barely white rice, coupled with 4 hardly-room-temp grilled shrimp. The TNT shrimp were dry, dirty-fry-oil-flavored atrocities. The hibachi steak seemed good. To get that, though, was at least a 40 minute wait on an app, 3 kids boxes, and a half fried rice order. While we were told that sushi was about a 30 minute wait, here I sit pensively penning this saga, at least 90 minutes after ordering with nary a sight of my sushi to quell my hunger. The staff seem pleasant enough, and frankly they don't appear understaffed given the size of this place. Overall, I wish I would've just gotten some fast food and called it a night. This is honestly one of the worst experiences I've ever had dining out, and when that's coupled with the sub-par food, I can't recommend it nor will I partake of its wares again. read more
