Such a exciting place with a great vibe of rock n roll to listen to while eating and not only do they have some great sushi but ramen as well as hibachi if you aren't feeling sushi that day! Also was explained by the staff after a great night of service for me and my friends to sign up for the rewards! Excited to become a regular with the new spot we've needed a place like this! All the staff was great and the owner Ryan is a really cool guy! Definitely recommend going in for lunch or dinner and rocking out with some good food. Cool spot, easy parking, a little confusing when you first come in the door as far as do you wait for a host or sit yourself since they do not have a host stand or clear waiting area when there is a line. I did like the sushi I ordered, but I can see where some people may not be super happy with the sushi choices, it is definitely a chain sushi restaurant, but I like all the cream cheese and crab options. We ordered four things to go from here. The first was the "angry"/ spicy edamame which was simply just doused with sriracha so that was our first let down. The jalapeño poppers were alright but were overcooked so when they cooled down became rock solid and just overall not edible. The miso and ramen were also nothing special and ended up half eaten. The filet mignon hibachi was overcooked as was the rice that came with it which was also mushy, and lacking in flavor as well. My roommate and I don't often eat out especially when the total is almost 100$, so this was a disappointing experience for us. Overall this meal left us slightly less hungry, with a hole in our pockets, and a bad taste in our mouths. read more

Dirty dishes. They reuse their plastic cups. Husband was served Coke Zero in a cup lined was sesame oil. The smell was so strong it ruined his appetite. Not exaggerating when I say every time I have a to go order they mess it up or leave something out that I ordered. $20 for a roll with 6 pieces of sushi, and the "fried" rice is just white rice they've poured some soy sauce over. Don't waste your money or time, go somewhere else for sushi or hibachi. read more

Great place! So glad Spring Hill has a new cool hang out dinner spot. The vibes are definitely unique and Spring Hill does not have anything that compares-- if you want sushi with style. I love the guitars are on the wall. I will say it is a little bit loud but if you're going for fun, it's your place. We were greeted warmly by a nice blonde young gentleman. The food is amazing!!! Maybe a lot on the pricey side, especially as a lunch option, but very tasty. Egg rolls very good, the ginger is delicious all on its own that comes with the sushi! I've had Sweet Home Alabama and the other one similar, I think UXL. or something like that, both delicious! Service was good. Ambiance was nice. Strictly here to review the sushi, which was low grade and mediocre. Most all of the options are fried or baked (because they don't carry high quality, fresh fish). If you're a sushi lover, this is a 3/10 very similar to airport sushi. Honestly I do believe even Kroger sushi is a bit better than here. We also ordered the wontons which were obviously another pre-frozen item cooked day of, nothing fancy and wouldn't order again. The side of fried rice was consistent with the theme, not very fresh or tasty. It was dry and lacking any hibachi flavor. I was really excited to have a sushi spot in town, but I'll be sticking to my real sushi places that source fresh, high quality salmon and other fish I can trust. The Ambiance and the Service: Our Waiter was in a hurry, I thought he was leaving or something, No he just wanted to rush us out so he could get the next set of customers. Another waitress wearing black pants had cat or dog hair all over her. They don' have blinds on the windows, so as the sun sets, you will be blinded by the sun. Some people were waring their sunglasses while eating. the Food: The sushi is slightly worse than the $6 sushi from Kroger (which I prefer over this restaurant), it almost taste like its all premade but I cannot confirm that because you can't actually see them make it. I'm confident that the Spring Hill crowd will have this place shut down in less than one year. We asked for a drink menu and he said he was the menu. So he turned around facing away from us so he could see the beers on tap and started to ramble off what they had. The problem was that he was not facing us, the loud music going, and he was not speaking loudly. We heard absolutely nothing that he said. A little over $120 for 4 rolls of mediocre sushi, 3 Michelob Ultra, 2 miso soups, and an order of Edamame. No thank you, I'll stick with Sushi Thai or Fulin's, at least there I know I'll get better service and 1000 times better sushi. read more

This place is actually nasty and if I could give it zero stars I genuinely would. The service is great but that's the only thing good about this place, I ordered $80 worth of food at 7pm I got home and I was majorly disappointed. Everything was lacking FLAVOR ! The fried rice tasted like actually nothing, the kids chicken was dry and flavorless, the sushi or whatever the "rolls" are was so bad I spit it back out, the "hibachi" tasted like they put it on the grill and didn't season it, and let's not forget how the "wasabi" wasn't even wasabi it tasted like horseradish! And the salmon on all the rolls is the most pitiful looking salmon I've ever seen CLEARLY not fresh or a good quality salmon. The people on the grill have obviously never been to a real hibachi place, you're better off going to shogun for better quality food. DO NOT waste your money HERE!! My 9 year old brother was crying because he hated the food and went to bed hungry, even my 3 year old sister said "I don't like it". This place SUCKS, you know a sushi place is going to be bad when you seen there are no Asian people working behind the grill, if you want better quality food that's actually worth you're money go to Fulins by target !!!! read more

Having been stationed in Japan for 3 1/2, plus 3 years as a child and living 1 1/2 in South Korea I am confident in saying - Sushi is good, Ramen is Amazing, Asian Beer selection (TSINGTAO- China, KIRIN- Japan, SAPPORO-Japan) above all. This location just opened, since it's close to our home we thought we'd give it a try. We arrived before opening since we surmised that it would be busy, and it filled up quickly. A couple observations: there is no waiting area. The tables close to the entrance are very close to the entrance- not very comfortable. I don't recommend this place if you or others in your group are hearing impaired. The music is loud and yes as the name implies: ( hard) rock n roll. There's a learning curve here, since they just opened, and having spent years in the restaurant business I get that. The service was decent considering the staff was overwhelmed. The menu is limited for a sushi restaurant, and given the prices for the portion I did not consider the value proposition to be very good. 6 basic rolls, no beverages, appetizers, or desserts yielded a $78 check. In short, I wish them well but not sure we will return anytime soon. read more
