Love the style, service and food. Everything is a fair price for food with passion. They have ice cream and frozen treats now too!

This is my must-visit Korean restaurant whenever I'm in Tennessee. It doesn't show up easily when searching for Korean food on Google Maps, but their kimchi stew is incredibly generous in portion and always delicious. It's so good that I always end up eating two bowls of rice! As a sushi restaurant, their kimbap is also surprisingly tasty and well-made.

My daughter goes here all the time for her Boba. We finally decided to have lunch here. The sushi was absolutely amazing. We definitely will be back.

Dang. Drove all the way here with all three kids on a Monday night with a friend visiting from out of town and spent 5 minutes looking over menu while standing up at the front register and then we finally make up our minds and they say "It'll be an hour wait for food." [[HIGHLIGHT]]There were only two other customers in the restaurant. One was already eating, the other- waiting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We said "Why an hour wait?" And they said it was for online orders. I made a comment about what a bummer that was for us who drove here to the restaurant and can't we receive some care since we showed up to the restaurant? The kids working here couldn't have cared less or showed any less concern for us, their physical customers. So all that to say- the sushi here IS 4.5/5 stars. And customer service is 1/5.

So, Daylight Sushi is a chill spot. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibe is pretty laid-back, which sets the tone for a good time.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff are cool too, super friendly and on point. Now, let's talk food. The seaweed salad? Refreshing as heck. Miso soup? Comfort food goals. And those sushi rolls? Flavor explosion, my friend. Plus, the hot green tea? Just what the doctor ordered. But here's the lowdown: the milk teas were a bit watered down. Not a deal-breaker, but worth mentioning. Overall, Daylight Sushi is legit. If you're into good vibes and tasty sushi, this place is worth checking out. P.S. Don't be misled by the sign that says "Daylight Donuts" there are no donuts to be found here.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]First of all the decor and ambiance is so cute![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service is PHENOMENAL! They answer all your questions and make sure tou feel welcomed and not rushed while eating. My friend and I got bibimbap bowls and they were so fresh, hot and delicious. Great place, great food and great people. Can't wait to go back and try more traditional Korean dishes.

Recently moved from CA, trying new places in the area. We ordered To go: the Yukgajang, Miso Ramen, albacore roll, and spicy crunch roll. I love Yukgajang so much, so I really wanted to love having one close by again, but unfortunately it didn't taste very authentic, it tasted exactly like kimchi juices which is a very specific flavor and there isn't typically kimchi in Yukgajang. 2/5 Miso Ramen was decent but again not much depth to the flavor. The noodles were very good and the pork piece was tender ! 3/5 Albacore roll was decent and good bite sized , the spicy crunch roll really carried this whole meal. The SCR was really good ! 5/5 only suggestion for the sushi would be requesting it in a separate bag than the hot food because it wasn't cold when I got home (5 min away) since they were in the same bag as the soups.

There was a fight over the two chocolate ones. Guess who won.

My grandkids loooove doughnuts. They don't get them very often, maybe only when Grandpa comes to visit. So, when I do, I like to treat them. Daylight Doughnuts is new since I've been here last, so I wanted to give them a shot. The place was almost empty when I arrived around 10am. I told the doughnut girl that I'd like a dozen. She replied that there's not that many to choose from now because the morning rush pretty much wiped them out. I told her that there were plenty enough for my grandones, and I proceeded to choose a variety from the meager fare. The girl plopped them into the box, and out I went. As I was getting into my car, a whole slew of cars started pulling up. Maybe the signal had changed. Little did those late comers know that the best of the remaining doughnuts were in my box. Nothing but the best (or remaining best) for my grandchildren. They loved them. Luke ate his doughnut faster than he ties his shoes. Quick Tip: Get there earlier than I did.

Only go if you have plenty of time to spare. This place takes forever... they should've kept their donut system.

We ordered the takoyaki, fried chicken bun, char siu ramen, and Hakata-style Niku Soba Ramen. The food came out quickly. The takoyaki was pretty good based on area standards (my Japanese husband and I are tough critics), and fried chicken bun was soft and crunchy which I appreciated. I would have loved to add a pickle or hot sauce. The ramen was great with smoked pork flavor but we felt the broth was a bit sweet, especially for the Hakata ramen. This version has straight noodles instead of wavy ones, which my husband prefers but I do not. Overall, we would come back to try non-traditional options like the fried chicken or seafood ramens and the crab jalepeño poppers!

We really enjoyed the sides we split…read more- the jalapeño cream cheese crab poppers were delicious, and the chicken kara-age was a very generous portion and well done. The ramen itself had good-quality ingredients and noodles, and the pork was lean and nicely cooked. However, the biggest letdown was the broth. We ordered the Char Siu Ramen, assuming their most popular option would shine, but the broth was surprisingly bland - almost like lightly flavored chicken water. We asked for added spice/flavor, which helped somewhat, but it still didn't fully come together. That said, the staff was incredibly attentive and kind, which made the experience better overall. There are so many ramen options on the menu that we plan to return and try a different bowl and update our review.

Our friend got there early so she was able to secure a table. We started with the happy hour house white wine and ordered various shareable small plates. We ordered the jfk - Japanese fried chicken, not pictured below - edamame- because everyone knows what edamame looks like, crispy brussels, pork gyoza, yellowtail jalapeño sashimi. Everything was delicious. My favorite was the yellow sashimi. I could eat more of that! Our server was Kyler and he was fantastic. He made sure we were taken care of and at the end of the night, ordered the house sake, which Kyler highly recommended, I enjoyed the layout of the restaurant and the dark wood and bar area. It wasn't crowded on a Thursday night which I enjoyed having the restaurant to ourselves, at least it looked that way since we were in the back area across from the bar.
