Apple Pie Egg Roll 1 Pc
    Dejah D.

This place was okay but I have mixed emotions--Not worth the expense overall but they have potential. I was a bit disappointed that the gallon of juice I ordered was hot, and nothing but some tropical kool-aid advertised as a mango peach juice... I don't know what made me think I was buying a homemade beverage but that's what I get for always getting a large portion before trying stuff out to see if I like it or not. The salmon rolls were yummy but the dessert could use some help. The peach cobbler tasted like it had an ingredient in it that wasn't supposed to be in it that pretty much blew my flavor profile... no ma'am. The apple pie was a step up but still both rolls had this weird gummy texture in the inside as if the inside of the roll wasn't fried long enough idk. The cinnamon roll was delicious however and probably the best thing I ate from here. Would I drive 35 minutes across town for this again? Probably not, but if I'm in the area I might return for some salmon rolls.

The rolls were really good and fun to eat and try different varieties. It's not a traditional store front as there are many other restaurants at the location. It's a cool concept. You can either order online or at the kiosk. The ordering was straight forward. I ordered Jerk Chicken, Chicken Cheesesteak, and Salmon rolls. All had great flavor. My order was ready in a timely fashion. I look forward to trying other flavors.

Soooooo these egg rolls are special, they are the most succulent rolls I have ever had in my life. I had the jerk chicken, crab, and Philly steak rolls and OMG. I highly recommend you stop by or order in advance or request for a delivery of these ridiculously yummy rolls. Check out the pics. We had the bacon ranch fries and they were okay. I personally like my loaded fries to be crunchy initially, I understand that they may get soggy through time but not at the onset. I hope that makes sense The old bay fries are crunchy and worth a try. FYI: we waited really long time for our food because they're really busy so be patient.

The rolls were delicious. My wife and I eat each roll and we were presently surprised and very content with a meal of appetizers. The jerk chicken was the most surprising, it had some spice, sweet, and savory flavors. We are planning another round very soon. It was a bit expensive at about $4 per roll. But every bite made the cost a distant thought.

Combo. Philly, chicken, jerk, salmon, buffalo, and taos.

Visiting Philly for weekend and would definitely come back! So delicious!! Flavor was great compared to some of the other famous Philly restaurants.

I found this place right here on Yelp. It was a different twist on an old favorite. I told myself this year I want to try new foods. I ordered over the phone but you can order for pickup or delivery through Grubhub and Uber eats. The owner was tentative and gave me a call when she was preparing my order and let me know how long it would take from that point. I ordered the sampler since this was my first time trying them and I was sharing with one other person. The samplers consisted of (Caribbean Jerk Chicken, Crab Cake, Buffalo Chicken, Ultimate Philly Cheesesteak,& General Tsos Chicken. I forgot the last type). I like them all . It also comes with tater tots or fries and a drink. I also got dessert which was the strawberry cheesecake and the peach cobbler. I didn't get to eat those 2 fresh because it was late & I was full. Out of the two I really liked the strawberry cheesecake. I want a retry so I could see how they taste fresh. If your picking up then you go around the back entrance for your order. The building will say food nest. There's room to park and go inside to pickup. All transactions are cashless.

My daughter ordered me some food from here. Fried mushrooms with sweet chili sauce and the 3 spring rolls. Well the food arrived quickly but there was no sauce for both the mushrooms or the spring rolls.

A1. This spot is definitely a hidden gem. I did not try every flavor roll but I will in the near future. I grabbed 2 buffalo, 2 Salmon, n 2 Caribbean Jerks I destroyed everything . The first time I order the kind skimped the fries so I told them and they gave me a proper amount that was very satisfying. Oh yeahhhh the peach cobbler roll CRAZY with some ice cream js js check them out!

Best decision I made was adding Cheesesteak Rolls & Jerk Chicken Rolls to my birthday menu! I ordered 60 ... 30 each. These rolls were delicious and I definitely would order again! I had to hide me a few rolls for the next day because my guests went through them! I heated them up in my airfryer and they were perfect! I can't wait to try the Salmon Roll & General Tsos!

I've walked by here many times, but yesterday was my first time actually going in. I visited with a fellow Yelp Elite and one of her co-workers for Happy Hour. We were seated at a table near the bar and our server, who was also at the host podium, was Dontay. He was the kindest and sweetest man. He went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. We each opted to get one drink and no food. If you want to get the wind knocked out of you after one drink, this is your spot. The drinks were STRONG. I ordered the Market Street Muse and I could barely taste the limoncello. The vodka and basil were the most prominent flavors. I was feeling good. I'm rating this establishment four stars because the drinks on The Philadelphia Cocktail Trail were essentially existing drinks they had on their current menu but with different names. Same ingredients. I was hoping to see something new or related to America's 250th. Overall, though, the space was very calm and clean and I enjoyed being there. All the menu items sounded great, too. I'll have to pop in here for a bite to eat next time.

I went on Cinco de Mayo and of course ordered a margarita (they offered classic, spicy mango, and mezcal $10 ea). I ordered the classic and it was done just right. I also ordered 2 chicken tinga tacos ($6 ea) and an order of hand cut frites ($9). The food came out hot like it's supposed to so I was happy. The tacos were bland so I added some pesto dipping sauce that accompanied my frites (fries) and it helped but I don't ever have to eat the taco again. The fries were seasoned just right. No complaints.

5 stars for Bud and Marilyn's? I recently gave The Love 5 stars for its fried chicken!…read more The Marilyn's Fried Chicken I had this evening was every bit as good! I'm not sure why I waited so long to try the chicken at Bud and Marilyn's, but better late than never! They serve a LARGE 1/2 chicken. I started with the thigh. I was smitten by the first bite. I was told the chicken is soaked in a buttermilk brine for 24-48 hours - dipped in a buttermilk dredge - covered with their 'secret recipe' seasoned flour - and fried in a 'pressure fryer' that cooks the chicken in 12 minutes. It was perfectly fried - so crispy - the texture and seasoning of the exterior coating was incredible. The chicken was tender and juicy - the thigh was the juiciest - I didn't get to try the drumstick as I was too full! I had the thigh and 1/2 the breast. The breast is my favorite and I savored each large delicious piece I broke apart. It's important to pick up the chicken and eat it by hand - I did cut mine in half for a picture - but didn't use a fork to eat it - you lose the 'panache'of the meal. I didn't use the hot sauce served with the chicken - I brought my own bottle of honey and poured it over the chicken and biscuits. It was heavenly! Which brings me to the Biscuits! The dish comes with 2 large fluffy buttermilk biscuits - they were golden brown on the outside and tender and fluffy on the inside! They had such a rich, buttery flavor. I took several pieces of chicken and layered them on pieces of biscuit, drizzled with honey! It was truly a 5 star fried chicken and biscuit dinner!

Everyone we interacted with was absolutely wonderful and pleasant, ranging from the team members to our fellow patrons. I had a gin and Sprite to drink and I ordered the burger for some grub. Unfortunately, this was by far the worst experience I've had. We had a 7 PM reservation and arrived at 7:15 PM. I acknowledge that we were late and apologized to the host. However, we arrived within the stated grace period. When we checked in, the hostess explained that because we arrived later within the grace period, our 90-minute seating window would still end based on the original reservation time. We acknowledged that and had absolutely no issue with it. What made the experience uncomfortable was how aggressively we were reminded about the time throughout the entire meal. We were reminded at least 5-6 separate times how much time we had left. Comments like "just so you know you have 25 minutes left" and "our next party is coming in 5-10 minutes" made it feel like staff was actively trying to rush us out before our reservation time had even ended. Mind you, we already understood the policy. One reminder would have been enough. Instead, it completely changed the energy of the evening and made us feel unwelcome and pressured to leave. We had originally planned to stay through our reservation and then move to the bar for the live music afterward, but after being repeatedly rushed, we decided to leave entirely and spend the rest of the night elsewhere. The most disappointing part was the interaction with the manager, Eric. Rather than listening or showing any understanding, he immediately became defensive and aggressive. He repeatedly insisted we were "15-20 minutes late," which was simply not true -- we arrived during the stated grace period. The issue was never the policy itself. It was the way we were treated throughout the night. It's unfortunate because this has genuinely been one of my favorite spots in Philly, and I've recommended it to multiple people. But this experience left a really bad impression, especially when bringing guests from out of town.

There are many tables, making it good for groups, but the interior is pretty bare. The wall is adorned with whimsical fox and chicken imagery, referencing the Hatch and Coop name. As of 05/2025, they supposedly offer 10% off your order by showing your SEPTA card. But, I'd confirm this offer before ordering to ensure it's honored. When I was there in the early morning, the cook (who also takes orders) didn't recognize the deal and didn't know how to punch it in. So, it was a bit of a letdown we couldn't redeem the deal, but we still wanted to try the sandwiches after hearing great things about them. I ordered The Hatch and Coop Sandwich (egg, cheese, chicken) on a round roll at the kiosk. You can customize your bread, egg (fried or scrambled), and cheese (provolone, american, or cheddar). The sandwiches come without any sauce unless you order sauce (extra $$) on the side. I highly recommend the Hatch Sauce- a typical mayo sauce with a little spice. I found The Hatch and Coop Sandwich to be just pretty good but I wish it had more heft to it. The chicken was juicy and well cooked, but I wish there was more. The cheese did the cheesing and coated the chicken, but the sandwich had far too many onions for my liking. With the Hatch Sauce, I felt the sandwich was tied together but it was a little odd to me the sandwich doesn't have sauce on its own. I'm giving Hatch and Coop the benefit of the doubt since it was so early in the morning, but I found my sandwich to be just OK. However, I will be back to try the fried chicken sandwiches, which I've heard rave reviews for.
